    Blue raspberry slush?
    Vienna Q.

So I do like sonic for there slushies or there shakes. This particular sonic not sure what's going on here. Asked for blue raspberry slush with nerds, whole lotta nerd no blue raspberry. Will not come back to this sonic the person that took the order was content the grrl at the window didn't seem to care. We all have bad days but this was obvious.

We always order ahead and they got rid of a few of the ordering screens and just have signs with the qr code and Stall number signs for ordering on their app. Service is a little slow but the guy who brought out our food apologized. We got our $1 corn dogs and salt free tots. I appreshaite that we can customize no salt on any item in the app.

Horribly slow service. Every time I've been over the years the order takes an absurd amount of time. Tonight I am waiting for 20 minutes and counting. I thought Sonic customers weren't supposed to wait any longer than 4 minutes?

Decent food. Best ice on the market and you can buy it by the bag. Service is usually friendly and drive thru is fast. Sometimes they run out of things like sweet cream for dirty sodas. I don't eat here often but I do stop by just for ice.

    Sonic for the win.

Half priced milkshakes are back???? French fries for $1????? Well, last week was a good day to return to Sonic I guess. It was a Sunday night and I was desperately craving a milkshake. When I found out the shake deal was back I got in my car and immediately drove to the closest Sonic. This location was pretty empty when we got here around 7:30PM so we were able to pull right into a stall and order some food. Now, if you want the half price deal you need to order from the app and then pick which stall you are at, so that's exactly what we did. I ended up ordering a large chocolate oreo milkshake as well as an order of the $1 french fries they had. The french fries were actually pretty solid, though not something I can see craving at any point. The milkshake was much bigger than I was expecting so even though I put a healthy dent in it, It was left unfinished. The milkshake was a very hard, though it did have great flavour and definitely sctatched that milkshake itch I was having. Overall, Sonic is a solid fast food joint that definitely rules the milkshake game. For around $2.50 you can get a massive shake that would cost well over $7 at another fast food place. Is Sonic the king? No, but it's a dependable prince that is worth stopping at on rare occasion.

    Menu at ordering station.

After a dinner when I had to skip dessert to attend a program, I decided to give Sonic a try as I had never been to one in the years I've lived here. I parked at a pull up station and checked out the menu for some treat. I opted to get a Sonic blast with Oreo cookie. I had to back out and come in closer to reach the ordering button. After I placed my order, I had a bit of difficult paying. I was hoping thery'd have contactless paying but they don't. You insert your card in the slot and wait for the tranaction to be approved. It was not well lit. I inserted the card the wrong side the first time. I then tried the other way. It went through but then I got a message I could pay the person who brought the drink. When he brought the drink, he told me it was already paid. Go figure. You get your drink and a plastic wrapped spoon. It would be nice if there was a napkin in the plastic with the spoon but there isn't. After these complaints, I have to say the blast was very good. I enjoyed this treat but it won't be a common thing. The closest Sonic is halfway to the Strip. There are other good options in the neighborhood. I will stop if I'm near a Sonic but it will be a treat that I enjoy sparingly. Also, the medium should be called large. It is big.

    They got pup cup?!

Very watered down, not flavorful, seems to be the powder versions. Not very rich or creamy. Fruit Tea was okay but again lacking the actual flavor. You can tell the drinks were off just by looking at the colors. Honestly though, I might come back for the food. The popcorn chicken was really good had a great kick. Made fresh to order. I feel like their food will really shine here. They do have several options.

I went in the hunt for better quality and boy did I find it. Bruster's is an incredible find and I urge you to try it. Located on Durango just south of Sahara, Bruster's is an ice cream stand where you can grab a cone (sundae, banana split, shake, freeze) and sit under a shaded canopy and enjoy your ice cream. There is no indoor seating. They have amazing and creative flavors some you've probably never come across before. They have sherbet, sorbet, non-dairy, and no sugar varieties so they cater to a wide range of tastes. They make REAL ice cream and use high quality ingredients. Their Butter Pecan, contains dozens of fresh, whole pecans. Not crumbs and pieces. Honestly more pecans in a single scoop than I've ever had anywhere! The staff is efficient and friendly. There can sometime a be a line and be warned...because they make the ice cream daily in-store...they can sometimes run out. An intense and delicious rotating list of flavors. Highly recommended!

Since we were on this side of town we decided to stop by to get some ice-cream before we headed home. We ordered at the walk-up window and the cashier immediately greeted us, was very friendly, and efficiently took down our order. I ordered a Dino Sundae with the caramel swirl no sugar added ice-cream and my husband got two scoops of the strawberry and cream in a cup. Our ice-creams came out very fast which I was stoked about because it was extremely hot outside. My husband absolutely loved his ice-cream and he said it tasted exactly how he remembered it to be. I thought both of the ice-creams tasted good, but they offered more of an icier texture compared to being on a more creamier consistency. I really enjoyed the sprinkles that came on the sundae and I used the Dino cookie as a scoop which gave it some added crunch. I really liked that they offered a few different no sugar added/fat free, non-dairy, and oat milk options. There were a ton of flavors you can choose from and I would definitely come back during their weekly specials to try out more of their decadent treats.

Biscoff: Really good, again, thanks to that signature creamy base. Cookies & Cream: Decent, but nothing special beyond, you guessed it, the creamy ice cream. Brown Sugar Boba: Not terrible, pretty good but I'd skip it since there are legit boba spots in town. If you come here, their ice cream is a must! Black Pearl: A letdown. The hazelnut, which I hoped would taste like Nutella, tasted nothing like it nor did it taste anything close to a treat. It tasted cheap and weird. Throwing Whoppers malt on top managed to drag it down further. These crap toppings have no business on their great ice cream. Would I recommend it, and will we be back? Yes to both. Across our two visits, the soft-serve ice cream itself was hands down some of the best I've had. It is good enough on its own that you can skip the toppings and stick to the base menu. Their kid size was more than good enough to share between me and my hubby, therefore, the size was definitely a lot for our kiddo. Our family gets ice cream weekly, usually at Handel's or Yogurtland, and we've decided to add Milk Cow on our regulars. This location is tucked away in the dying out Tivoli Village, making it a quiet, convenient option. However, while writing this review, I realized they have another location on Grand Canyon that is even closer to us, so we will be visiting that one going forward. Oh, lastly, customer service is ok. Mind you there is no restroom in the restaurant itself, so if you are even slightly lactose intolerant, their ice cream is legit and will send you.
