It took 30+ minutes to pick up an order on DoorDash just sitting there and waiting, with multiple other cars being ignored at the kiosks as well. Could see a worker going outside and just talking with someone at a car. When they finally answered after 30 minutes, they said I was the third person to ask for this order and promptly brushed me off. Well I should have read the reviews before ordering. Salt was dinner done on the tots that it had to be intentional. Salt on the burger was a little less but still tasty in eatable. Placed an online order to be ready at 9:05 arrived by 9:10 to pick up , pulled into a slot and pressed call button no response and it even timed out , after pressing a second time it was after 9:30 so I got out and went up to the door proceeded to tell the guy who came out what happened he said let me check on it and proceeded to give me my 2 melty ice creams and a very insincere "sorry". Worst service ever! Most of the call buttons don't work and when I found one that did work, the employees only responded after 3 cycles of the "Please wait, we'll be with you soon... " when I tried to duck inside and ask if I could place my order, some piss-ant little POS teenage boy said, "we're short staffed, please leave the building!" and proceeded to flick his hands in my direction in a shoo-ing motion. We are used to the typical long wait and were prepared. Today we got a real surprise. My husband got a large root beer float. We had a hard time putting the straw in the drink because of all the ice cream or so we thought. OK. Then my husband proceeds to drink his root beer float. At the bottom of the cup there was about 5 inches of crushed ice and that was after the float had melted a bit. We couldn't believe that they put all that crushed ice the cup to fill it up so they could save on some root beer and ice cream. Wow! read more

The slowest food i have ever received. Girl on the speaker was eating and scratching her lice in between orders which is first, kinda gross but second, made it take longer to get my food. we got there at 7:49 and we didn't get our food until 9:04 and all we ordered was tater tot's and an ocean water. pretty ridiculous if you ask me and i worked there a while ago so i know damn well it doesn't take that long to put (already made) tater tot's in the fucking container and spread some (already made nasty ass chili) with cheese on the damn tot's. i am very dissatisfied with my service and my food that tasted very old. that's why fat boy didn't get a tip when he brought me my greasy ass tot's. sorry not sorry read more

Just went to the Sonic for a milk shake and 1 order of onion rings. Pulled up at 7:20 to order this simple order. At 7:30ish... bell hop gave us some dipping sauce which we didn't ask for it? At that point our order progress screen went back to press red button to order. at 7:40 I hit red button again to ask is there a problem with a Milk Shake and Onion rings? She said no and the bell hop will be on the way out soon. At that point our order came back to the screen and it was in the kitchen again. At 7:44 it said hop was on the way with your order. At 7:47 she came with the order. Shake was ok, the onion rings were barely warm. Just went home and reheated them. Its hit or miss at this sonic and this was a near miss. Just hard for me to give more than 3 stars for a simple order that took 30 min to get it out to the car and the one single hot item was warm at best. Sonic onion rings are super good and usually so hot the onion will burn your lips! Not tonight... They were busy and obviously not enough bell hops to get the orders out. But when the car next to me arrives after I ordered, and they get their burgers out before I get a shake & O-rings there is an organizing problem in the kitchen. I have never been to a worse sonic than this one, and that's saying something, because the customer service at sonic restaurants tends to range around laughable. I go to sonic every once and a while because my boyfriend loves tater tots and no where else makes them. But today took the cake. I pulled up into the first stall and pressed the order button, waited and waited, until eventually I looked over and saw that the button had timed out and the screen was blank. I pressed the button again, slightly annoyed, waited, only for the button to time out again... This repeated two more times. At this point, I thought that perhaps the stall was broken, so I pulled out and moved to a nearby stall that I had seen someone's order be taken in earlier. At this stall, I pressed the button two more times, both times timed out. At this point, I left, as I felt that any further attempts to get service would be useless, not to mention I didn't believe they deserved my money. I work in retail, so I understand that sometimes things go wrong and that most problems can be resolved by exerting a bit of patience, but this was ridiculous. read more
