Nostalgic atmosphere, awesome service, and fantastic smash burgers! My husband and I dined here recently and loved it. Smash burgers seem to be everywhere nowadays, but this place is the real deal! Everything was on point- a perfectly soft potato bun, juicy patties, tasty toppings and sauces, and crispy fries! We ordered The Simon Belmont and The Bowser with sweet potato fries, tots, and a cookies and cream shake to wash it all down. Everything was delicious and it was such a treat! Our friends introduced us to Bit Burger. We all went to celebrate our girls' last day of school this year and this was the place to be. It's reminds me of an 80s nostalgic shop with all the little guys and memorabilia lining the walls. Being older, I recognized many of the characters and games. They even had Bubble Bobble - this game with two cute little dinosaurs who blow bubbles and trap baddies, killing them by popping the bubbles. My sister and I loved that game as kids. The button for Bob to blow bubbles was broken, but Bub worked fine. I got to level 32 alone, but I bet we could have beaten the game with two players! The arcade games are free and the burgers are delicious. They are small but you can get a double. We got a Bowser that came with jalapeños and it was really good. My 11yo loved her hotdog with cheese and tater tots while my 9yo got chicken strips and fries (they are waffle fries). The food all tasted fresh and came out hot. My mom and mother-in-law who were with us, said they liked their burgers as well. We also got the cheese curds and those were yummy too! We ended up getting a cookies 'n cream milkshake after we ate even thought we had ice cream after their awards... it was good too! The service was quick and the ladies bringing our food were nice. I ordered on the app for the burgers and at the register for the milkshake. I was distracted by the games and didn't get pictures of our delicious food! We had a kids table (the 4 kids sat at a booth together) and then the adults sat at the back, 4 at one table and 2 at the one next to it since the tables were smaller but we did not mind. Pros: Burgers themselves were good and reasonably priced. Fun themes on the food and pretty tasty. Retro atmosphere with FREE arcade games to play. Cons: Everything is done at the table. You look at the menu, scan a QR code put your order in yourself, you pay yourself, you don't get any follow up on the order yourself (nobody checks on you during your meal) and they still expect a 18% default tip on your order. ‍ We enjoyed the food overall but even with putting a note of "extra crispy fries" on my order they didn't come out crispy. At all. I let them know and they were very polite about it but it took forever to get new fries. I almost gave up. We got our dessert before my new fries. When I asked about them I was told they have a lot of orders right now. Well... Ok, but you expedite an order that is messed up normally. We'd possibly be back if we're in the neighborhood but I'd definitely prefer to order with a live human to make sure my order is done correctly as well as get some quality follow up while we're eating. read more

This place was pretty cool in the inside. We hosted my son's 6th bday here (just told everyone it was seat yourself so show up early) and we all enjoyed the vintage arcade games and retro vibes. There ended up being ample seating for our group of 12, plus several other patrons in the restaurant all at the same time, we just all sat at separate tables. The staff were rude and seemed annoyed however. We all ordered and paid separately but the food came out very chaotically and the server wasn't great about telling us what the items were. Instead, she frustratingly just set them on the table leaving us to figure out which items were which. Portions were huge and overall food was fine but not very memorable. Actually. the milkshake was more like the consistency of a regular glass of milk so that was a bit of a letdown. At an Air BnB with large group, everyone ordered burgers mine was a BluBurger with onion rings. The burger came with two patties which is the trend these days to get the burgers cooked quickly so there is no option for Medium or Rare. Nevertheless the burger was fine, enjoyed both burger and rings. Everyone was satisfied with their burgers as well, no complaints. My daughter and I really enjoyed our visit to Bit Burger Knox. It took me back to the 80's with the decor, free arcade games, and music - what a time to be alive! We were immediately greeted upon entering and given the spiel on how to order (at the register or QR code on the tables). Unfortunately the dining area is not large enough for all the patrons but luckily we found a two top table. I ordered from the QR code and our food came to the table in about 12-minutes piping hot! My daughter ordered a vanilla milkshake that she wished was sweeter. The onion rings were decent but the fries were better. Our burgers were huge and extremely good! The bill was right at $50 which is a bit pricey but it was a good meal. If I ever have to visit Knoxville again, I'd go back. read more

Absolutely the best smash burger in Knoxville. Each of their offerings is unique and tasty. I have tried most of the smash burger places in Knoxville and this is hands-down the best and also the best value. The two of us went on a Friday night. Lots of tables were taken but we found a table no problem. You walk up to the counter to order, find a seat and they bring it out to you. One of our burgers was missing a few extra toppings we ordered, but it was not an issue. All I had to do was walk up to the counter and tell them and they brought out the missing items in no time. My son and I stop here on our way to Atlanta from Ohio each year. We both really look forward to eating at Bit Burger. Every time we visit we try a different burger. Excellent quality and one of the better burgers in town I have had. The sweet potato fries were crispy just the way I like them also, some of the best I have had in some while. It's a "Bit" price as the burger fries and drink came to around $16. Dinning area is small and they still have some tables restricted for Covid even in my opinion the booths pose no issue. Walking in, there was tons of nostalgic gaming/old tv show stuff. As a 90s baby I enjoyed it a lot. I totally did not expect the food to be so good. We ordered the pirogies and sausage, the breakfast burger, the 1 up, chicken strips, hash browns, s'mores milkshake and the Cookie Monster. We LOVED everything. Immediately my fiancé said "good find babe, we'll def come back here" The prices were fair, burgers and milkshakes were DELICIOUS! The Pierogies and sausage were fabulous--I'd come back just to get that lol. The kids LOVED the milkshake, but as a parent, my advice is have your kids share--they're huge! What a fantastic place! If you grew up in the 80's it's like your dream childhood bedroom! It is jammed packed with fun memorabilia. There are even several video game consoles for you to enjoy. We have been three times and I have gotten the Rubin every time. It is excellent! Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of sauce and sauerkraut. My husband had had three different burgers and has loved them all. They are so juicy! He really loves the burger options. We got a side of fries the first time and they are delicious. They were so good we went back the 3 time just for the rings. The big winner of all is there strawberry milkshake. My husband and I have brought our kids here to eat on several occasions. I have some food allergies that prohibits me from being able to eat much here...but the things I can eat, are well made and fresh! My kids always get the Atari burger while my husband likes the bacon cheeseburger (I forget what it's called on the menu). I personally love their sweet potato fries; especially since not many places offer them. But the ordering process is super simple and easy to use. Each table has a stand with a QR code to scan. It'll take you to their menu. Simple add the items you want and there are also boxes where you can type and special instructions/requests. I'm sure if needed, the employees at the front would be happy to assist those of us who aren't very tech savvy or just prefer to talk to someone. Every time I've been here, the employees have been so nice. While you wait and even during your meal, we all enjoy the fact that there are games to play for free. My boys of course love playing the arcade style games but especially when our food comes, we like to play games as a family such as taking turns seeing who can remember the most color sequences in Simon Says. I am a 90's baby so I enjoy just looking at all the memorabilia on the walls of toys, games and tv shows I grew up with.
