Quick, good customer service and loved the clear cups. We got a cherry limeade and some sonics don't put a lot of cherry so it's not real red. With the clear cup you can clearly see the good job they did mixing the slush. Would recommend this location. read more

My family and I waited in line at the speaker for 13 minutes. After saying hello in the speaker and getting no answer, we pulled up to the window and only requested 2 cups of ice. There were 6 employees with a few on their phones and a manager that said " she wasn't sure who was supposed to take our order, but we're gonna have to pull back around and place the order". We said this was unacceptable and her reply was, "That's not my problem". This was for 2 cups of ice. She absolutely refused to help us and would not give us the store number or her name. Me and my friend group went to get drinks before we went on a road trip and ordered online. We aren't from the area so we accidentally drove in the wrong way so we backed into a spot to make it easier so we could get out of the way as soon as possible. We put in the number for our mobile drinks and a lady comes out and while she's handing us one of our orders, all she says is "you can't park backwards for the safety of others and you're more likely to hit someone when you park this way". We didn't really know what to say so we were just like oh okay we're sorry we didn't know. So then she leaves and we put in our other mobile orders and while we are waiting a manager comes up to us and says "you can't park backwards so I would appreciate it if you can move" very rudely and walks away. We were like oh okay so we drive forward and re park which was difficult since we parked backwards for a reason so we weren't in the way. They both talked to us extremely rude and had no hospitality whatsoever. They did not greet us and we did not feel welcomed at all. When we finally had all of our drinks, none of them were mixed. I had gotten a sprite with blueberry and raspberry syrup and all of the syrups were at the bottom and I had to take off the lid and mix myself. It was overall not an enjoyable experience. read more

This used to be a pretty quick place to place my online order and go pick it up for lunch, since I only have 30 mins for lunch. NOT ANY MORE! New management has disabled the online ordering system, I found out today that all the previous staff left and it took about 15 minutes to get to thru the drive thru! New manager, I understand it's new to you, but if you don't understand how to use the technological options to improve customer service and keep existing customers then it's gonna be a long hard road. Also, not opening till 8am will send your breakfast business to McDonalds now. I used to stop at Sonic on my way to work between 7:30 and 8:00 to get a large coke every day, well since I have to be at work at 8am, that's gonna stop. I realize it may not be much of a revenue stream of importance to you, but multiply it out by 5 days a week by 52 weeks a year. So sad. I wish you luck in your endeavor. read more

Visiting from another state. We've been coming here every day, and every day the same employee is sitting it at the shaded tables smoking a cigarette (hope she washes those hands) and drinks a drink. The Sonic has been swamped every time (but different times of day). She sits and watches one employee do it all. That employee is doing drive through plus all the stalls. It takes forever to get two drinks. There are probably circumstances I don't know about, but when all the stalls and the drive through is lined up, you put out that cigarette, get off your duff and help out. It's a disappointment to see her so unengaged, plus it discourages us from returning. Found out the lady smoking is the general manager! Ugh!! read more

So, I usually stop and order my food there. Most of the spots seemed to have been closed or of order. I decided To go through the drive through. The tater tots could have been warmer but were definitely fresh. Not sure if it's just the area but the chicken tenders were probably the best I got from any Sonic; not dry. Low rating? Well, drive thru they must charge extra. Receipt says $9.39(5 piece combo) Sign when parked states $8.69. They give you this sticker with a smiley face and and under the total? "You saved.... 0.99" ? I am assuming it was meant for the cashier. Yes, the only reason I checked the receipt was because I ordered the 5 piece and only got 3 pieces. They saved 99 cents on chicken but made more by charging me for the five piece instead of 3. I'm so done with this place! I go into the drive in and push the button and this message pops up "Please be patient and we'll take your order shortly ". Well twenty minutes and nothing, another car pulls up next to me and places an order!! I walked inside and told them their pos ordering system sucks and left! They had 5-6 people working inside and 1 kid running orders to parked cars, real efficient!! Stay away from this location if you're in a hurry! My family and I go to sonic everyday for a daily drink. We have gone the last 4 days in a row! My go-to orders are a cherry limeade with vanilla, and ocean water. They really conquer my thirst needs after a long day at Wolf Creek (no half days over here), and they always put me in a jolly old mood! My wife often gets a lemon slush with added strawberries. We refer to it as the iconic "lemon berry slush" that has gotten us through some very hard times such as getting up at 7:00am to head up to Wold Creek (half days are for losers). The lemon Berry slush is so sweet and fruity and zesty! My personal favorite adjectives that are very accurate in describing the drink. My son gets the blue raspberry slushy with nerds which is a bit weird to me, but I trust that it is good (since it is from sonic). Hooray! Sonic also has food. My family doesn't often go here because we are all vegan, but even as a vegan, I do think their egg sandwiches look quite appetizing. Anyone tried them? Let me know with a reply. #Poggers! All in all, I would most definitely recommend sonic for all the munches out there who ever get thirsty! Water is for the week! Drink a sonic instead! The line was crazy, for the drive thru. Not only that but the woman was incredibly snappy, even through she was muffiled the entire time, got our order completely wrong, and all of the food looked like someone dug it out of a trash can except for the mozzarella sticks. The food was good. Tater tots and fries crispy and tasty. Kids liked the sandwiches. The server who delivered our food was friendly. However, there were several other service problems. 1. When placing the order, I asked if the PowerAde was sweetened with sugar or corn syrup. This is easy to check by looking at the ingredients on the label. Most restaurants have a binder containing ingredients of all menu items- for checking on potential allergens. The order taker's response to my question was "I don't know- you'd have to Google that." 2. I happened to be in the picnic table area a few minutes later when I encountered a female employee, I asked if she was the order taker, and she said no. I explained the conversation I'd had with the order taker, and she shook her head and rolled her eyes. And then she blew smoke in my face from the cigarette she'd lighted while talking to me. It's always good to check if someone asks a question about a menu ingredient- and it's great NOT to have employees smoking anywhere near customers, especially not in a designated food-eating area. read more

Tried stopping at one of the places to order, pressed the button three times, nothing. Went to the door, went inside and was told they were closed even though two open signs were lit up and visible from the street. Could have at least said you were closed. read more

Hmmm... Not particularly friendly on the mic and out of mozzarella sticks, but since they had no reviews I thought I'd help them out. They didn't even show up on Yelp when we looked for something to eat at 8:30. Drove all the way to this end of town for a 4-star pizzeria that decided to change their hours when we walked in, so Sonic it is. ;-) Food was hot and fresh and good, and friendliness came thru better in person than on the mic, so that's all good. I was in Pagosa for a week and was served by several pleasant car hops, I can't remember all their names, but it was obvious they are working short staffed (closing early, closed stalls) but that did not seem to bother these people, they were always so pleasant and nice. Worst experience ever. This was our first time in Pagosa. Just finished a hike. Starving, tired, in a pretty good mood after the hike we just had and we get to sonic, I ask for something I saw on their online menu and the lady interrupted me mid sentence to rudely tell me they don't have it. Then they mess up our order and are rude about it again. Rude rude RUDE TO THE MAX is all I can say about this place. Or at least the women who work here. Never coming here again. The food here is like any other Sonic, it is good and it is fast to arrive. If you try it, you'll see it is a Sonic.

It's a sonic A little slower a little tighter but all in all it runs through your body and comes out just like everything else

2/14/2019 6:52pm check #218 Tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back, I hate the internet but feel it's my only way to get my message out. I have had some of the worst dining experiences in my life at sonic, and in particular the sonics in Pagosa Springs. My experiences can be summed up as a greeting by an unpleasant person barking at me "what do you want" followed by an equally unfriendly "your total is..." now if they were efficient and got me what i ordered in a reasonable time that would be one thing, however I do not believe I have ever received what I ordered, every time something is off. Now mind you my order is usually pretty complicated like a medium chocolate shake and a medium banana shake, that took 20 minutes to get to my truck, even though the screen read "Alexina is on her way" 8 minutes after I ordered. To top it off along with the shakes being delivered with a bad attitude the lids on both the shakes were lose causing one of the shakes to spill its entire contents out inside my truck. I understand you are paying minimum wage but it should not be that hard to firmly put a lid on a cup and maybe not act like its the absolute worst day of your life when taking a order and dealing with customers. the long and the short here is I will never return to any sonics, I am going to make it a goal to tell as many people of my terrible experiences at sonic as I can, and I will post this opinion on as many review sites as many times as allowed. My husband and I had just gotten in from a very long drive from Texas. We ordered and he specifically said 3 times how he wanted his hamburger. The girl repeated it. When he got it it had all the veggies on it. Asked to have it remade, they took it and brought what we thought was a newly made one. I am very disappointed with this particular sonic. When I ordered my meal I got mozzarella stick. You would think that they would COME with marinara sauce, but I was wrong. apparently you have to ask for sauce if you don't tell them you want sauce they just assume that you don't want anything. This is the first time that I have been to a Sonic that took this stance. I think it is terrible customer service to tell someone (new to the area) that "we usually ask but everyone here knows that they are supposed to ask for either ranch or marinara if they want it".
