We were very hungry last night and it was late. (Only viable option). I ordered a corn dog and a LARGE chili cheese tots with extra cheese and my wife ordered a Sonic Burger with bacon. We sat at the drive through ordering area well over five minutes before someone took our order. (They were visibly outside smoking and talking). I have no issues with someone taking a break but do it so customers can't see AND hear you speaking foul language. The food arrived very hot and fresh but we didn't receive any of the extra sauces we ordered. When I got my order home I had chili cheese tots that contained exactly 7 tots... SEVEN! For starters, from the moment we checked in to the moment the food was "on its way", it took approx 20 mins. Then, it never was received. The screen cleared up. Orders always wrong, night shift employees outside screwing off while customers wait. I really don't like leaving negative reviews but I just sat in their drive through line for 15 minutes until all the cars started to build up so bad that they left and when I got to the order station no one replied!!! Food is good, but the service is awful. We were given our food without straws, which is fine - everyone makes mistakes. But I tried to push the button back in and they immediately responded with "drive-thru only" and I said "may I please have straws? We didn't get any." There was an employee out back taking out trash who saw me sitting at the speaker the whole time. There were 2 employees sitting at the tables out front smoking. Worst service ever. A friend of mine woke up way earlier than she is usually capable of. She desired coffee-- Sonic coffee. She drove in her car, if you could even call it that due to the fact that every time she turns the steering wheel even SLIGHTLY the car makes a loud KRRRRNNNGGGGG. She arrived at this specified Sonic early in the morning before school, so she could obtain the delicious caffeine before she was forced to suffer through 6 hours straight of learning. She desired brain juice. She pulled up to the little station and pressed the red button, which lit up at her touch. She sat there, waiting for the servants of the almighty Sonic to respond to her demands... Minutes passed. She sat there, determined. She saw others around her order and exchange their coins for Sonic goods, but never was she given the opportunity to talk to a Sonic slave. So she sat there, and sat there, and sat there. After some point she reached started to slip into a fever dream. She imaged herself as a dried out corpse, crawling across the desert in search of food. She was on the brink of death. On the verge of giving up, she saw the shiny yellow and red lights of the Sonic in the distance that gave her hope. Crawling at a speed that she never reached before, she tried. Oh did she try. She was so desperate to reach Sonic. She was almost there. She could practically taste the coffee at this point. A DING went off, her phone, and suddenly she was brought back into reality. She received a text from one of her dearest friends, me, and when she picked up her phone to respond she noticed the time. 15 minutes were spent waiting for her order to be taken. She couldn't sit here any longer. If she spent even a second more at this establishment, she would have arrived late to school. So she drove off, coffee-less. When I arrived at school, she was sitting up against the wall outside of the classroom with her legs up against her chest. You could tell that she wasn't okay. Beside her, she had a half a cup of Starbucks iced coffee. I asked her what happened and she told me her story. My heart was broken. Before I met up with her, another friend came across her and saw how fragile and unstable she appeared to be. Seeing her in that state brought on a sense of pity. They being the good friend that they are, they gave her their half drank Starbucks iced coffee. With one sip, she began to feel better. The damage that Sonic was healed by the delicious, heavenly, serendipitous Starbucks iced coffee. You broke a girl's heart, Sonic. This isn't the first time you've done this, and it's not the first time someone else has had to fix the damage you've done. read more

Went there twice but will not go there again. First time they had to take orders manually because they had problems with hearing people on the speakers. Took 45 minutes to order a few milkshakes a corndog, small burger and onion rings. Once we received our order finally the food was cold and they forgot our corndog. They didn't charge us. The second time, it took at least 20 minutes for just a milkshake and an order of cheddar peppers. Too many kids working there goofing off apparently and not enough workers for the amount of customers waiting because many people were complaining about the waiting time. read more

As a former sonic employee of over two years, I know how a sonic is supposed to run and this sonic is struggling majorly. My store never had a drive through but I'm almost positive you're only supposed to be in the drive through for 2 minutes. It took about 7 minutes to even order. Then it was a long wait for the food. All we had was a grilled chicken wrap which was disgusting and inedible due to the chicken, the tater tots were not fresh by any means, and both large teas were disgusting. I got an unsweet tea with raspberry and the raspberry didn't taste right. My friend got a sweet tea with vanilla and raspberry and the sweet tea is old, they forgot the ice, and the raspberry didn't taste right in this one either. Overall very dissatisfied with the quality of the food and the service. The lady that was at the window, however, was very nice. A waste of $9 if I do say so myself. read more
