Tried the double patty smash burgers, one on buns and one on potato bread, and they were both pretty good! We also got the fries and tater tots and they come in these huge cups! We weren't expecting such big portions on the sides but you can definitely split them between 2-4 people. The Oreo milk shake was also good but overpriced imo. Unless they're made with some organic milk or a reason to justify the price. I recommend this place if you're looking for a good meal, nothing fancy, and away from the more crowded restaurants. It is more expensive than what I normally pay for a meal like this but we ordered an extra side (tater tots), bacon on both burgers, and the shake so that added on pretty quickly. read more

This place has a pretty dang good cheeseburger and is fairly priced for the area it's in. French fries are five guys style - a small is good for 2-4 people in my opinion. This is probably my favorite burger spot in the area and I live about 20 miles away - so it's a big compliment for a large radius. Service is easy - you can even order at a kiosk to skip a line. Family and I were in for the week, and each sibling was responsible for one night's dinner. My wife and I had originally thought about another burger place on the beach, one with great reviews, but they had some technical issues and were forced to close for a few days unexpectedly. Having to pivot, we found Friends 30A as it was in the same shopping center as the Publix we were using to stock up the house. We went in to check the place out, everything seemed cool, and so we hit them up in person for an immensely complex order - eight adults, everything particular, 6 kids all with various meals and toppings, sides, the whole deal. We ordered and set a pickup time, and could not have been more impressed. It was ready right on time. Price was right, especially for all we got. Everything, to the smallest detail, was perfect and correct...and delicious! The numerical system on the receipt made figuring out what was what super easy. It was one of the best meals of the trip, everyone loved it, and we would absolutely go back. The team was professional and personable - what a great experience! Thanks! read more

We live close by and keep trying this place and every time the service is terrible. No one comes to greet you, they are always late on your food when you order online, and the order is always wrong. Once again today we ordered it was ten minutes late and it was wrong. While we stood there waiting we got to watch the cook put food in his mouth, scratch his bear, take off his gloves put more food in his mouth, and then put the same gloves back on to return to cooking. Absolutely incredible! My husband and I tried this place tonight. I got a double burger with cheese, lettuce, pickles, and friends 30a sauce. He got a triple with cheese, pickles, & 30a sauce. We both got fries--beware the fry sides are HUGE (served in a large cup) and we certainly would've shared one side had we known. Our burgers were incredible and the fries were very crispy. The 30a sauce was amazing, similar to canes sauce but a little spicier. The staff were so kind as well. 100000% recommend this place! read more

The best burger I've had in my life. Literally delicious. We came here on day 1 of vacation and came back every day. The burgers are simply amazing and the staff is the best. They knew our names and greeted us with our names and gave us a friendly farewell on our way out. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas were clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved the food here and will definitely be back next time I am in the area. To the owner- if you are reading this, and interested in making this a franchise... LET ME KNOW! I am serious. If you like waiting 20 minutes for your order and paying $17 for a burger, fires and small drink, you'll love this place. It seems to take 20 minutes whether they are crowded or not. I tried ordering by phone this week and that took 12 minutes to go through multiple phone trees and then wait literally 4 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. And when I arrived they had more workers than customers. You'd expect great food after waiting that long, but the fries are often room temperature and not fresh and hot. There are a number of full service restaurants nearby with better burgers and fries served faster for the same price. I prefer a juicy burger and the ones at Friends are smashed flat so about an inch of the burger sticks out from the bun and they are dry. But somehow the buns feel greasy. read more

Very disappointed. The ambiance was great, very sleek, bright, well designed and extremely clean. The food - meh! The burgers had no seasoning and I guess their flavor was supposed to be derived from their crunch. They were served in a styrofoam container (maybe to hold all the grease?). My burger was supposed to have fried onions, but I couldn't find any. No tomatoes or lettuce? I didn't realize you had to order that. The French fries were easily outclassed by McDonald's, but were twice the price. I ordered mine with cheese sauce. That's what they call melted Velveeta cheese with little flecks of green (possibly jalapeños?). I will say that the staff was extremely nice and helpful. read more

Quite possibly the worst burger joint I've ever been to. Looked interesting from the outside, turned out to be just pretty plain factory-produced burgers and fries, cost nearly $100 for four. Wished after eating there that I had just walked into McDonal's instead. Owned by the same group that owns Amici / Amigos 30a, so the same factory-quality fare aimed at tourists. I got the "best friend" burger with the friends 30A sauce on the side and a fry. This burger was really good - the bun, the burger & cheese. It did not taste greasy and the fries were hot and fresh. We did the hatrick! We hit Amigos, Amici's, and now the burger bar! The food was awesome and the kids loved the shakes of course. The fries were delicious but we ordered too many- 1 order can feed 3-4 people!! My kids really liked the cheese sauce for the fries- don't see this often.
