This restaurant is in a strip shopping center and in the area of local hotels. We were seated near the bar which was a nice booth with raised barriers between tables which made conversation easy. Our server Kaydi quickly came over to offer drinks, an energetic tone, a positive smile, and the refreshing Southern "yes ma'am/sir." I got the Blues Brothers Burger with sweet potato fries, a very tasty lunch, and filling. We were offered to-go drinks, a cordial touch. Pricing averaged about $25 per person, a very reasonable price for the value delivered. Overall, we will certainly be back the next time we're driving along the east coast. I hope we're lucky enough to meet Kaydi again, as she's an asset to this establishment.

I originally didn't think I'd finish this salad but it was really fresh and delicious. Very low carb meal. Next time I might try chicken instead of burgers. Husband had the Rocky Balboa burger and a side salad instead of fries. He was a little disappointed in the small size of the burger but it was otherwise good (cooked medium well but not dry) and the salad was fresh. Service was friendly but server had a little trouble remembering if they had Guinness. I would expect the servers to have this information ready as they serve primarily burgers and BEER, ya know. It was an early Fri nt dinner for us so not crowded or busy yet. Noise level was moderate and we could still talk without raising our voices.

Reviewed menu. Has a good selection, not sure about portion sizes. Met one young lady sitting at the two seat bar eating dinner and having a drink. She said she eats there all of the time. Says the food is quite tasty. The burgers I took home were prepared nicely. I had the veggie burger which quite tasty. In appearance could not tell difference between a meaty burger. Taste isn't quite a meaty taste but nevertheless it was tasty. My relative had the double patty smash burger without cheese which she said was good. I will definitely return to the restaurant one day in the near future and eat in this time, but try a different dish. You know, maybe the woman at yet bar will join me this time. lol.

Asked for server and greeted by young friendly lady that couldn't answer the most simple of questions about their products so we left. Wife saying she wouldn't return, so I went by myself this Friday. Before I start Ive had over 25 yrs in the restaurant biz, all facets and positions from dish pit to certified trainer, GM and regional manager. No greeting at the door for an awkward amount of time so I sat at the empty bar. First contact greeting at 13 mins, no drink, app or entree offer just a hello. 4 mins later I get, "what can I get you"? Un-tea w/ lemon and Splenda, Brisket burger w/ fries and side of ranch. She brings back un-tea no lemon, 4 ice cubes that means "I don't want to refill your drink so you get room temp tea" and no sweetener. 15 mins later burger comes out with about 3 oz of battered French fries, the cheapest ranch I've ever seen with the fake colored flakes that's supposed to be seasonings. Oh also sold food for 8 yrs to restaurants and I know Good, Better, and Best but this was well below even those. Burger was cooked to its death, probably either a steak weight used to press out all of the fat, juice n flavor, or thrown under a lid and sprayed with water to steam speed cook the same fat, juice n flavor out of the burger, either way it was a dry flavorless hockey puck with 4 pcs of tiny brisket under a wilted pc of cheese. Tea was refilled after I was done trying to choke that burger down, and was refilled with the same 4 ice cubes. I was asked by 3 different employees how everything was and after I told all 3 that it wasn't good, 2 just smiled and shook their heads and the 3rd which I believe was the owner or mgt didn't wait for my response, just asked and walked off. I gave ample opportunity for customer service but none was offered. There is no training or following of training protocol, there is no steps to service, the food ingredients are base level at best and execution on all levels were severely lacking. There are several similar restaurants in our area that do an awesome job, I just wish this was another one of them.

First, about a 10-15 min detour from 95, free parking, cute little area with restaurants and a hiking trail. Restaurant is beautiful. Staff are efficient and friendly. Made great recs. Food is fairly priced and most importantly delicious! The owners are at the restaurant, the chef Ed, who's also from Philly! Came out to speak to us. His wife Yalem is beautiful and brought us to our table. We would highly recommend to anyone! I'm going to have to come back because they sold out of the peach crisp :(

They have a big space though there are also a lot of chairs and tables around. Food was good. The brisket was tender. Options for sides include mac & cheese, collard greens, string beans, broccoli, Spanish rice, potatoes au gratin, baked beans, coleslaw, fruit salad, corn bread, yams, french fries, etc. The coleslaw and baked beans were also good. For desserts, we enjoyed the bread pudding and peach cobbler. Would have given this place a 4/5 for food but service was really bad. Food took a long time to be served. This we understood because it was really a busy day. Because the cloth napkins smelled like rancid oil, we just asked for paper napkins. This took ~30 minutes before we got some. We also asked for some condiment. Since no one was checking on our table, we had to stand up and approach one of the staff to follow up on this, not once but twice but some vinegar never came. Though our server Gracie acknowledged and apologized for the bad service, service was still crappy and disappointing.

You can usually seat yourself, and the staff greets you promptly. They offer a full bar, house-brewed tea, rotating desserts, lunch and dinner options, and TVs with closed captioning so you can catch a game or trivia. Their seafood selection is excellent, with oysters and other items served fried, steamed, blackened, grilled, and more. They list the origin of their shrimp, clams, and oysters on the wall, and the chalkboard specials change depending on where the oysters were sourced that day. The "Greggah" lobster roll was perfection--a generous portion of chilled lobster in their signature sauce on a top-cut, buttery soft bun. The slaw served with it was creamy, cold, fresh, slightly sweet, and had the right tang. The sausage and potatoes side was one of the best staples from this restaurant group. A later snack of fried clam strips and fried oysters showed the same quality. Everything was freshly breaded, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It came with hush puppies, coleslaw, and a house-made tartar sauce that was spot-on. Another visit included a house salad with homemade ranch and the double-decker crab cake sandwich--two fresh, in-house-made crab cakes stacked together with coleslaw on the side. It was outstanding. Consistently fresh seafood, friendly service, clean atmosphere, and reliable quality make this Shuckin' Shack location a solid choice whether you're in town briefly or a regular local.

That being said, my server was very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Cappy's Roast and it was a good portion of food. I agree with others that the shrimp is not very flavorful. I do think the just boil it up and then season it after the fact. I found myself de-shelling them all first and adding Old Bay to them before eating them. The oysters were pretty good. Not top of the line but definitely passing and delicious. The corn on was NOT dry but also was not seasoned at all, nothing a little salt and melted butter couldn't fix. The drinks, on the other hand, were strong and super tasty. Definitely "bar" is their strong suit. Overall I say this is definitely worth a visit and the prices are fair on par with what you get vs quality
