So frustrating. Came to get some drinks and such after spending the morning at Traders Village. You'd think this would be a prime location with good customer service but that isn't the case. As you see we ordered a Dr Pepper with NO ICE and cheddar peppers with ranch. My husband's drink was full of ice. I called back to ask them to bring the ranch that they forgot out. It's been 15 mins since then. It took around 10 mins for them to answer the call button and around 20-25 to get my food. The frustrating part was getting the order wrong though. You took 30+ minutes of my time and my food wasn't even right? No thanks. I'll heed prior advice and go to the valley hi location next time for sure. read more

It was just a flavored water with nerds in it, it was a very sorry excuse for a slushy. My fiance even tried it same with my brother-in-law and they looked at it and coughed after drinking it. If I could keep the stars at ZERO, I would. The service was horrible the first time I went, I waited almost an entire year (exaggerated) just to even ORDER, then I waited another light year just to receive my food. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going for a second time, in hopes this time would be better because I love giving places more than once chance, but never again. I waited in the drive thru line for almost 20 minutes, then it was my turn and proceeded to wait to even hear from anyone for another 10-15 minutes (side note someone who showed up after me and parked and order was in and out...) when I finally ordered, I pulled up and continued to wait another 10-15 minutes. The entire ambiance was just unprofessional and slow. I'm a truck driver, I drive up to 8hours a day. So I came to this Sonic and I have had never had this happen to me before. I park my truck in the back in another parking lot, walk up to the tables with my daughter and wife who usually goes with me on trips in San Antonio. Well I order and a manager tells me over the over com that they serve people at the tables and I tired to explain, but was cut off. So I went to a regular "drive station" and ordered, payed and we went to go seat down on the tables and were told to leave or she's going to call the cops. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS SONIC. So I am handicapped and in the handicapped stall using the sonic app trying to order for my daughter and I. Everything is fine till I want to pay and the app takes my money but the order fails. The only time I've gotten food from there it took them 10 minutes to answer the intercom then almost 45 minutes to get my food out. This place sucks. Ordered online. Checked in and saw the stall updated. It then said our order was on its way. Never got it. 25 minutes pass and the lights turn off. I pushed the red button to head "we're closed" at 9:36 when it shows they're open till midnight. I mentioned we ordered online and got nothing. Employees don't care. You order and have to wait for over 20 min for them to give you an order. They stand around the machines, talking the whole time, when they finally decide to acknowledge you, the ice cream is practically melted and they just say "sorry it's hot out today that's why it's so watery" uh no it's cause yall don't care and obviously sonic doesn't care since this is now a norm for this location. Just shut this location down! 1st incident I placed an order on the app and sat in the stall for about 25 mins before I got a knock on my window from a gentleman that tan from his car. He told me that they weren't open because the manager had not shown up for work so the door was locked. This was at 11am 2nd incident I waited in the drive-thru at the mic for 20 mins so I made an order on the Sonic app and went to the stall number I indicated. I sat in the stall for 10 mins before hitting the button for them to tell me to go to the drive-thru. I had ordered 2 chili cheese fries and usally they fully the whole thing up, they filled less then half of the bowl thing up, there was barely any chili, and no cheese whatsoever. and what's even worse is that my food was cold and my slush was fully melted. I tried taking pictures but it was hard to get a good one. My boyfriend ended up dumping the rest of the water in an empty bottle and it is insanely cloudy and gross. I don't know if they got a different manager or if the owner is telling the workers to put less toppings in the fruit slushies and blasts. I live nearby this Sonic and service and quality have gone downhill. The boneless wings are overcooked and dried out. The fruit slushes have very little fruit in them. The last strawberry slush I got tasted like sugar water. I dumped it down the kitchen sink. The last three blasts I received have the toppings sprinkled on the top without anything mixed in. It might as well be a Sundae. I am attaching a picture. As you can see, it is mainly ice cream. Where are my peanut butter cups? I am crossing this Sonic off of my list. read more

They are such scammers here! The girl in the drive thru charged my husbands card twice. The first time for our order and the second time was for more. We didn't realize it until we got home, called for 30 minutes and they wouldn't answer. We had to drive back and ask for a manager and the manager refused to come to the window. The cashier said oh I'll refund it you'll see it in a couple days. Never apologized and refused to give me a receipt showing a refund. When I refused to leave without a receipt she said will you just take cash?! & gave me cash out the register. read more

It takes a minimum of 30 mins to order anything from this location even if it's something as simple as a drink. 9 out of 10 times the order is wrong, the food is cold, or they forgot something. We always try this location because it's closest. Ever since COVID-19 began we can never get what we wanted because they always claim to be "out" of nearly everything we ask for. It got to the point where I figured they were just being too lazy to cook or go to the freezer. Well, today they had what we wanted except our fries were COLD. So, we asked for fresh fries and their response was that they had given us the only fries they had....at 1:00pm. So we opted to take tots instead until we heard someone say "Just give them the tots from the last car". At that moment I just told them I'd take the fries. Low and behold the new fries were fresh and delicious. Smh. They can never give use grape jelly with our breakfast due to COVID-19 but always seem to put ketchup in the bag. I've given this Sonic several chances, as I'm in the area for work several times a week. It's very hit or miss. I usually get a burger that is so cold, the cheese can't even melt.
