We have been wanting to try this location for a while because it was recommended by several friends. The burgers did not disappoint and lived up to the name of the restaurant. I had a cheeseburger all the way with their special sauce and enjoyed every last bite of it. I want to try the Wet sauce next time for a small extra charge. See pictures for details. The fries were crispy despite having a larger cut. They also serve booze and beer at great prices surprisingly making this a great place to start your night out. There are at least a dozen parking spots around this location and they offer indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your delicious burger while listening to 90s and early 2000 bangers. They also make large cookies and other baked goods that I'll have to try next time with a boozy shake. Give this place a try to satisfy your burger, sweet or boozy craving.

After a long time wanting to try this place, we finally tried, the name really match the burgers they are juicy and taste more like a home made burger... delicious, I tried also the dole whip which was really good too, the place is not big they have around 5 tables indoors and a bench outside, but the also have drive thru and the service is fast and friendly so you won't wait too long. Definitely going back!

I have tried Mr. Juicy before and it was really good but this time it was a bit different. I ordered the cheeseburger and added bacon, with fries and a drink. I went through the drive-thru and I had great service, and the wait wasn't outrageous. I know they cook everything to order, the burger had a pretty good taste. But I was not impressed with the bacon I had in my burger. There was so much fat on the bacon sides, and the bacon was really chewy and not crisp. I'll give this another shot, but not sure if it happens again.

The burger was insanely delicious especially for a gluten free one. I want to ask where they purchase it because it didn't taste like a sponge or chalk. I'm sure the regular burgers are just as good and juicy. I'll def be back!

Double Cheeseburger with fries and drink $12

The burger is perfectly crispy around the edges yet still juicy at the center. Fresh veggies top it off - pickles sliced lengthwise, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. The bun is soft and a little greasy, exactly how a good burger should be. The fries are also quite tasty. Everything we had was really good, but I wouldn't say it's the best burger in town - it's just on par with the others. The space itself is tiny, with just four four-tops and two two-tops. Two of the four-tops are pushed right up against the front counter. Ordering feels a bit like the "soup nazi" scene. You ask for a combo or a burger, and the staff rapid-fire shouts questions about toppings and sides. The staff is friendly, but they are definitely on a mission to move customers in and out. Honestly, it was a little stressful. This isn't the kind of spot where you linger over lunch; it's more of a grab-it-and-go type of place. On the plus side, they do have beer! Just bottles and cans - mostly domestic big brand names. Domestics are $4. The prices aren't too bad - $12 for a double cheeseburger combo (with fries and a soft drink). A regular cheeseburger by itself is $6. The fries are a decently sized portion - enough to share.

We had been hearing about Mr. Juicy, so drove over to check it out. I got a hamburger and added mushrooms. My husband got the double meat double cheese. He really didn't care for the meat, but I thought it was fine. They toast the buns, so that's a big plus. Fries were good. They also serve beer and mixed drinks. It lacks ambiance...just a fast food place inside with not a lot of seating. The staff was friendly, but you could tell that the flow wasn't efficient. I think it's fine if I'm driving by and I'm hungry, but I won't be driving across town to return.

I want to give this review 3.5 stars. Enjoyed the cheeseburger combo but I thought the order of fries was skimpy compared to other pics I've seen. I was able to sub Cheddar cheese for the standard American cheese. Staff member came by our table a few times to ask if we needed drink refills. I ordered a slice of blueberry pie to go. The crust was flaky but the pie filling was a bit sweet with tiny blueberries.

We went to the San Pedro location and they took our order right away. There are just a few options here but I didn't notice you could get your burger "wet" until after I ordered. There are only a handful of tables inside so be prepared to eat outside if you come at a busy time. The burger was OK, but there was something sour on it, not like pickle sour, but a little off tasting. Too much cheese for my preference, I think I will omit it next time. The wet sauce is pretty good, I ended up ordering it on the side and dipping my fries. Overall a decent place, the peanut butter shake was great too.

Small hole in the wall! So delicious, fast customer service. Small restaurant inside but definitely clean. Food was delicious I ordered the #2 fries are so delicious. They serve you a lot so worthwhile.

This place is always great! Definitely my #1 favorite burger place in San Antonio! The burgers come with a "special sauce" which is well balanced and tasty. The fries are always fresh and seasoned to perfection. The chicken strips are huge and have a good flavor, just wish I was offered a sauce to dip them. Their Belgian Chocalate cookie is a must try for cookie lovers! Service at this location is fast and the lady working the counter is super friendly.

The burgers at the restaurant follow their namesake....juicy!! Fries are legit. Big bonus that they serve mixed drinks and boozey milkshakes. I left off a star because the dining area is super small. Where I was seated was where people order. So folks were basically hovering over me the whole time I was eating.

Came here for lunch with my co workers because they love their burgers! I just ordered a cheeseburger with fries and it was pretty good! Both burger and fries were flavorful! We went thru the drive thru and service was pretty fast and they had everything in our bags (napkins, sauces). The place isn't that big but they serve some pretty good food! Will take my daughter because she loves burgers! read more

Went to try because friends have been recommending for a long time. Ordered take out from here because their dine in areas/outdoor seating is usually packed. Didn't even want to try outside though cause it was HOT!! Ordering food was pretty easy. Burger was good. I wouldn't say it was the most amazing burger ever but I guess if you grew up eating this, it gives you nostalgia. Fries were just a bit soggy but still tasted ok. Would give it another try. read more

Mr. Juicy is always the go to spot for a great burger for a great price, I love the milkshakes and if you're feeling like having a good time, they'll booze it up for you! Love the pineapple soft serve it is absolutely delicious! the service is always great and employees are amazing! Sometimes they have their chicken fried steak special, I recommend you can share it with another person because it is huge but absolutely to die for. It's a small restaurant so they are little chairs and tables but i never mind. gracias mr.juicy for always being a neighborhood favorite! read more

Mr. Juicy is a go to for a delicious burger. I got the double cheeseburger. Special sauce is okay, you can't quite taste it on the burger, but overall very satisfying. The fries were my favorite! The seasoning is a combination of garlicky and salty deliciousness. They have Dole whip that reminded me of Disney World! Only recommendation is to have a kids menu, as my little one was unable to finish the burger, which are pretty thick! Will definitely be back! It was so good. I forgot to take pics! read more

As always fast and friendly. I do love the taste of their hamburgers .. old fashion! The bun today though was a little hard .. over cooked. Every time I go the fries have a different degree of cooked and a different level of seasoning. I like them .. just a little frustrating. read more

Unpretentious space, excellent service, good food, fast. The drive-through window does a brisk business. The inside tables are simple but get the job done. The guy at the counter took or order and brought us our food, but also later came over and offered us refills on soda. He also cleared away our trash. That's a high level of service for a fast food place. read more

First, the service here was exceptional. The employees were super friendly, refilled our drinks when they saw the cups running low, and were helpful in the ordering process when it was our first time here. Second, the burgers were great and the chicken sandwich exceptional. There were two huge pieces of chicken. I actually had to take one off so I could eat it. The extra filet will make a nice snack later. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked well too. The fries were seasoned and amazing. The menu here is small, which means what they do, they do WELL. We will definitely be back!! They were passing out samples of their Dole Whip dessert. AMAZING. It was perfectly pineapple citrus flavor. Nice, light, and refreshing. As great as the food was, the dole whip was maybe my favorite thing and I don't normally do desserts! read more

We were there last week for the first time. We thought it was totally amazing. So we had to go back this time. I wanted to try the chicken sandwich. It was so good. Everybody else had the burgers. The burgers looked amazing. Again the fries were delicious. Served very hot. The food came out very quickly and everything was served very hot. Totally enjoyed it. The music in the background is nice and soft. The service again everyone is super nice. They go out of their way to help you. My granddaughter was putting away her burger in a to go box an employee noticed her doing that he came over to help her And to help bus the table. read more

I've seen several posts of Blueberry pie @mrjuicyburger and we had to stop by and check it out. We went to the new location for dinner. It was good to see the spacious location and several pie options, including Blueberry one. Hubby had the #1 combo, which was double pattie burger with fries and drink. I had the #3 combo, which was a hamburger with fries and Sprite for Dad. We shared the fries and Dad had the a la carte hamburger. They don't have their liquor license yet so I had the Strawberry shake. For the sweet ending, we had a Blueberry pie to eat in and one ti go. It's delish! read more

Made a quick drive thru stop at Mr Juicy. Probably better known for their burgers, I saw the chicken sandwich in the menu and wanted to try it. Went with the spicy option which is smothered in a hot sauce and I have to say this chicken sandwich is MASSIVE!! Thought I was going the healthier, lighter route but this bad boy was not that kind of chicken sandwich. The fries were well seasoned and everything was great. KG Recommended! read more

I was so glad we stopped by to try Mr. Juicy! The young man at the register greeted us. ambiance is cool and dessert is right on the counter! Simple menu. we added bacon mushrooms and a jalapeño! Wow. I don't know what changed but the quality has crashed. No this isn't a fake account, no this isn't some disgruntled employee - I'm a real consumer as is my wife (before you go trying to claim it's a fake review). I've been here years back and it was delicious and the burger was actually "juicy" but I don't know what the heck happened. The meat is over manipulated there's enough sauce to piss off your tastebuds yet still not enough to add the needed juice to the "juicy" burger. I feel like this has turned into the red headed stepchild restaurant now that it's been in operation now because of the quality. Any reputable Chef wouldn't want his name tied to this or he would do what's right and correct it. I've read several other reviews before posting mine to see if it was just a one off but it seems there are many other reviews saying similar things. Chef, fix it or go down with the ship. Period. You're no match for a real burger at this point. You want a "juicy" burger, go see 5 Guys. Hell, Fredericksburgers is better than this and I'm pretty sure there's no chef there. Happy, attentive service and good food. We both got the chicken sandwiches that were we hearing about. Husband got the hot one and I got the normal. Very tasty! I have a small stomach, so I wasn't able to finish the whole meal, but husband was happy to finish it for me. Fries weren't my favorite, but I'm partial to thin or shoestring fries. Good burgers... when they get the order right. If you're hungry and would like to throw your money away go here or the nw military hwy location. It's a waste of time and money, you pay to get extra things in the burger like bacon only for it to not be added. There's always something wrong with the order so for the last times I've ordered on the drive through, I haven't even been able to eat my burger and just throw it away. read more

Finally, finally opened! I have been waiting for Mr. Juicy to open in the Castle Hills area for what seems years. Previous to this, the building was a Whataburger that moved to the Alon H-E-B. So when I read it was being converted to a Mr. Juicy, I was very excited. Today, I was finally able to stop by for a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was very good and I love their secret sauce. The fries are delicious and big. Service was a bit on the slow side, but that's due to just opening, and many people. I do have to commend them, though, because, although I had to wait a bit for my food and the drive-through was closed while I was in line, the staff was incredibly attentive. I was asked a few times if I wanted a drink and was offered a free snack for waiting. Really amazing job! The restaurant was very clean and new. It had more seating than the original, but no outside seating. There was room for a good amount of people, so that was a plus. I am glad Mr. Juicy opened in our area. I'm just waiting for the crowds to thin out before my next visit. Overall, very impressed with service and ability to handle a crowd. read more

Long wait? Yes! Drive thru takes a while? Yes! But totally worth it. The food here is delicious!!!! The burger Patti is super thick and just the way they put the rest Of the burger together--perfect. I got mine with mushrooms the first time and will probably continue to do so. This wet sauce it comes with is this garlic shallot (almost reminds of a gravy) that is perfect with the huge amount of fries they give you. This place is absolutely delicious and totally and completely worth the wait. If you're in a rush, there's a couple of other burger joints that will probably be quicker in the area. BUT If you're in no rush, don't mind sitting in the car a bit....trust this girl when she says: TOTALLY WORTH IT. I tried calling an order in...no answer. No answering service either...as in "you've called blah blah blah." It's a Saturday at 11:15 am...they opened at 11 am. Cool. No website. I mean I get it. The "our food is so good, we don't have to do X, Y, Z" vibe and all...but it is 2020. Walk in and it's half empty, no line. But immediately get welcomed with the "we're really busy, it's gonna be 30 minutes." 43 minutes later....food is out. This is a to-go order. The burger is good. A lot of grease, but it's a burger. Wet sauce is pretty good. I think the sauce makes the burger but not the beef itself. The bun was solid. Fries...meh. Underwhelming. To have the SA Current title of best burger in SA....eh. I LOOOOVE this place! However today my burger was so different than it normally is! instead of shredded lettuce, tomato, and sliced jalapeños (which I do have as an add on) It was some type of arugula, no tomatoes and unlike any other place I have ever had the slapped two whole jalapeños on that bad boy...very weird. I will return and any typical visit here I would have given a 5 star review....but this was a very strange experience. Thanks to the management for reaching out and promptly addressing my previous concerns. The staff here is always very accommodating friendly and eager to please their customers. And for that alone they deserve the full 5 stars. read more

WOW! I live in Austin but come to San Antonio pretty often to see my family. I'd seen a food blogger post about Mr Juicy and I knew I had to try it out because the pictures were mouthwatering. That was definitely the right choice! The burger is absolutely delicious, with the perfect merriment of flavors! The bun is so soft and airy, it felt like I was biting into a pillow. Seriously, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! The fries are perfectly crispy + the kale salad was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Freakin best burgers in town they have the best flavor on a burger anywhere. Perfect sauce for the burgers and perfect fries with seasoning. Shakes are bomb.com and have so many flavors. They offer good service and accommodation so we don't have to lift a finger. One worker complimented my shirt and fist bumped me. This place reminds me of how awesome food can be with its atmosphere. This... may be the best burger I have ever had. A friend at the base recommended this place to me. I had my doubts because usually I stay away from fast food. But this is the kind of quality burger that you'd expect at a steakhouse. Even better, I think! I can't wait to go back. Holy heck this is good. Unbelievably good burger for a decent price. I honestly think that this burger is as good if not better than the $15 versions of burgers that folks will buy at the more expensive and fancier places. The fries are also top notch. At work we love this place...If your a person that likes more of the "All you can eat" places I get that you think the burger is small. Pretty much the best burgers in town! Too me way too long to come here. Shoulda been here a long time ago. Burgers are juicy and pretty decent size. Fresh ingredients, high quality meat and bun was perfection. The fries are some of the best in town. The prices are below fast food burgers. Highly recommend this place. read more
