I've been going to this Sonic for years, and honestly, it's really sad to see how much this location has gone downhill. First the drive-in ordering stopped, then the inside closed, and now it seems like there is sometimes ONE person working the whole place. Taking orders, making the food, making the drinks, everything. I actually feel bad for the employees because I can't imagine how stressful and overwhelming that has to be. But at the same time, Sonic is usually busy, so of course the line moves ridiculously slow when one person is trying to do everything. It also makes me wonder how safe it is for an employee to be there alone like that, what if someone with bad intentions hurts them or a medical emergency happens. But what really pushed me to leave this review is the customer service. And this is NOT the first time I've had an issue with the same employee. Tonight I pulled up to the speaker because I had placed an online order. She was talking really quietly and fast, so I couldn't hear what she said. I said, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." Nothing. I waited and asked again, "Hello? Can you hear me?" Still nothing. I waited even longer and tried again, and she continued to ignore me. Then she started talking to the car behind me like I wasn't even there. When I finally got to the window, I told her I had been trying to tell her I had an online order but she wasn't responding to me. She said, "Yeah, I heard you, but I already told you to pull forward." I explained that I didn't hear her, which is why I was asking her to repeat herself. She just walked away. No "sorry," no acknowledgment, nothing. She handed me my order and closed the window. I completely understand being overwhelmed, having a bad day, or being stressed when you're doing the work of multiple people. I really do. But ignoring someone who is politely trying to communicate with you is not okay, especially when this isn't the first time or second time. I really hope Sonic takes a look at what is going on at this location. It used to be a friendly place and it's honestly disappointing to see it get to this point. I don't expect perfect service, but I do expect basic communication and respect. read more

Improve the customer service. The dining room was locked at 11:45am. Had to go through the drive thru to pick up my online order and I let the employee know that the door was locked. A couple of customers behind left because the they wanted to eat inside the restaurant. read more

This place has really bad customer service. To start, my food was late and I waited about 20 minutes for my food along with my wife food as well. The bun to our burgers were hard as if they got microwaved, no napkins were provided or ketchup. The person attending us name was "Michelle" when I informed Michelle that our bread was hard and for her to touch it she declined, I informed her that we got no napkins or ketchup and Michelle's reaction was that they were only 2 workers working in the facility and could not attend everything, and she was upset that I had brought this up as if she was the customer. I asked her I would like to speak to a manager and Michelle said she was the manager, I informed her that she had poor manager skills and a manager would not respond to a customer in that manner. I recommend you think twice before visiting this place were there is no people skills or employees with leadership training. If I could give this place a no star rating I would. read more

Used the app to order ahead before I left the house. Ordered 3 blast, thinking 10 minutes was more than enough time to have it ready, according to the app. I was wrong. Got an alert that my order was ready and to check in when I got there, so I did. Turns out the screen at the stall told me they just started my order. Okay, maybe another 5 minutes, not bad. Spent 20 minutes sitting at the stall for 3 blast. Tried calling the restaurant to make sure they got the order but no one answered. Decided to go through the drive thru, sat behind a car for another 5 minutes. Finally got to the window, told the employee my order, she handed the order right to me from the counter. A good portion of the top half of the ice cream was liquefied from just sitting. I understand this is during Covid, but other busy restaurants get full food orders out faster than they got ice cream. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were short handed, but after driving up to the window, that was not the case. Just waited 25mins in the drive thru for 2 drinks. Thought maybe the guy in front of us ordered a bunch of food, NOPE, all he ordered was drinks. Maybe wouldn't have been so bad if they were ready by the time we got to the window, but we had to wait even longer for them to make them once we paid. To make it even worse, our drinks were wrong! Been here twice...once, the girl at the window didn't even speak...I thought "hmm maybe she's deaf" but nope she yelled when I drove off without my card...I was so distracted by the bad customer service! Their customer service needs severe improvement. We went through the drive thru and spent $40 for our family. We were asked to wait out front for our food to be made while others were served. We waited for our food 20 minutes. My food was wrong when we got home. I called and was told " they would remake it and to come back". The drive thru was packed with 6 cars. I parked and pushed the botton letting them know I called. I wasn't told they would remake it and be out. Instead was told to go wait in the drive thru line due to the heat for the order that they messed up. By this time I was unhappy with how this was resolved. read more

I never visited this one. I seen the reviews, but I'm a rebel and I believe businesses need a couple chances to shape up. That being said, I think it's very awesome they have dine inside option with very nice restrooms (I'm from Fresno and we don't have any of that). Staff was very attentive even though the register clearly reads to push button when ready, I was taking my time deciding and she asked if I was ready twice. I finally pushed the button when I was ready. She was very patient. I had a special request of no onion or onion ring on my burger which was completed. I also ordered a small tot with cheese. Everything came out hot and quick. Maybe 5 min (I rather wait and get cooked food than be impatient and it make me sick). Kudos to them for getting cheese on ALL my tots, something that rarely happens at my Fresno locations. I am assuming they took reviews into consideration and got a little more speedy. Places can be quite busy at this hour (424 pm) but it wasn't. This was overall a good experience. I'd say some locals may wanna give it another chance and remember how spoiled you got with the only dine in and inside restroom sonic in the area. read more
