I am a Senior Citizen so I can't afford to eat out and rarely do. Today I had money and have been wishing for a chili cheese coney forever. I ordered one with onions added, and used a free coupon for tater tots that I received earlier due to an incorrect order. Guess what, there was not one onion on the coney thus it was dull tasting. Terrible. Ordered on the app for my husband to pick up, we didn't get half of what we ordered. I reached out to Sonic for a refund. Through email, I had to tell them three times what size and what items I bought but didn't receive and still didn't get a refund. Ordered again. Waited 30 mins, called in to ask about food. They brought it out after it sat for 30 mins. I know that because the ice cream was melted and the ice in the drink was melted and the food was not even warm. My family went to Sonic tonight after a long day of work then fixing fence and hanging gates. We wanted a quick meal as it was so late. We pulled in and pushed the button and sat for forever with workers in the window looking out at us leaning on the counters talking and laughing. So we left and went to Whataburger. sat for fifteen minutes without being acknowledged while all the cars around us pulled in, ordered and began eating??? Red button showed it was activated entire time! Exited my vehicle and spoke to two employees, two separate times, to confirm that they were aware of us, with no help??? Drive through was conveniently closed, as they can't keep responsible employees, or management! Ended up leaving with nothing, and enjoying a nice meal at Dairy Queen right across the street! This sonic is super slow, and sometimes they don't answer the drive thru window even during business hours. Several times that has happened to me, typically at night time with about 30 minutes to and hour left until they close. I don't come here that often but when I do I'm disappointed. The reason why I give this place a Two-Star is this: I went in with my mother and stepfather at around 4:00PM yesterday afternoon on the way to Pittsburg. The shocker is this: THIS PLACE DOESN'T HAVE THE BBQ BONELESS CHICKEN BITES ANYMORE!!! I was so mad that I refused to order any of the chicken menu from the drive-in. No chicken tenders, no popcorn chicken with tater tots, NOT even a large sweet tea. Literally one of the worst Sonics I've ever been to. Always slow. Seen some other people on here say they may or may not get service if it's the last hour-have also experienced that. Manager is extremely short and rude. Went last night around 7 to go get a couple gift card for a work party. Sonic keeps advertising the Patty Melt on T.V. We tried to buy 2 last evening, 11/30, and were told they were discontinued yesterday and they ran out. I ordered a hot dog with sauerkraut. When we got home it had onions, relish, and mustard.....no sauerkraut. This is the 3rd time my order was wrong. And my LAST time to go there. read more

The Sonic used to be pretty good. But with the new building and the change of there food products make it lack what it used to be. Usually the wait is too long sometimes and some of the car hops are snobby and not friendly. read more
