The cashiers kept saying it didn't go through and they had to take my card around a corner to swipe it...weird! Had the worst experience ever! Order two gigantic drinks, both of which came out wrong. To top it all off I paid for two different different fruits in both drinks. Each one literally came with one cherry on top. One of the drinks was a different kind of drink altogether. When I called to ask, if there's something they could do to help the lady who answered had the rude Karen kind of attitude that we all have grown to hate so much. She said that when you buy the fruit we put one piece of fruit in there that is our policy and I am the manager. That Karen's name is Jessica. Card machines don't work well but at least they will take it to the back to ring it up for you. They don't bring you napkins or carry them on their person if you ask though so that makes an extra trip all in itself. The hamburgers are pretty much a bore at this place. I convinced the only thing keeping them alive are the drinks. When I first started writing this review, I had given them 3 stars, but the complete lack of courtesy by the employee dropped it to 2. The sign states half off shakes after 8pm. So I order a sonic blast - it wasn't half off. I was told those don't count. My bad, I guess it's not blended ice cream with milk... (wth). So I cancel that and order a chocolate malt. Went there last Sunday. It took a while before they got to me after i placed my order, and the restaurant was not very busy. My order was a sonic ( large sized) footlong coney meal which included tater tots and a diet Doctor pepper. i did request green chilis added to the coney. I got the food I ordered, the way I liked it, however, I paid by debit card, and did not get a receipt. I dismissed that error, but when I reconciled my account, I found out that my card was charged $ 16.28 ! For what I ordered, I was definitely overcharged. It would have been nice if the stalls had displays that showed the order and price, like they have where the picnic tables are, then I could have caught the issue right away. There's another Sonic on Broadway not far from this one. Go there instead. If you order a meal with a side of onion rings, they will give you one onion ring. They never remember to give us dipping sauces. They always forget one or two items off our orders. Their order screens are broken, and they haven't fixed them in months, which is a pain if you ordered online. We were driving on our way home and decided to stop at Sonic for lunch. They had a special called the "Brown Bag Special" that we ordered. It included 2 burgers, 2 orders of tots, and 2 drinks. Sonic is one of mine favorite fast food restaurants. I travel all over the US and have had numerous contacts, good and bad with Sonic. Sonic really is an hit or miss chain of fast food businesses. This particular branch on E GolfLinks is setting a whole new standard of lack of management. I'll make this brief,,,, The order consisted of boneless wings, rings, mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese and soda. Not one bite of this order was satisfactory by any means. Out of six mozz sticks, two did not have any cheese in them. The boneless wings were fried in bad oil, the rings were cold. The soda was so flat it was poured out when I got home. This entire order was enough to spark this negative review. Two of the customer stalls had employee cars parked in them, two employees came out of the kitchen to look underneath one of the cars. Both individuals were on their backs on the concrete looking at, pointing at and touch something of interest under the car. Both employees went back into the restaurant, one came out immediately with a tray of food and drinks for a customer. Neither employee washed their hands as I watched their movements thru the windows. Besides employees taking up customer slots in the parking area the unsanitary followup conditions warrant a complaint to the Pima County Health Dept. Employees are outside on cell phones, customers were waiting on orders and no one seemed concerned. Ok, rant and review are over, yes I'm making further complaints to corporate and Pima County,,this is a management issue of " I don't care any longer".
