There were four of us in the party. All of us ordered medium done burgers, but received four differently cooked burgers, ranging from no pink (well done) to almost red (rare). I personally ordered a cheeseburger and we all shared a bowl of fries. Aside from the inconsistency, the burgers were pretty good, but didn't quite live up to the buzz we'd heard. One member in our group thought they weren't juicy as she'd expected them to be. I didn't think that beef tallow added anything to the fries and in fact found them to have a bit of an odd flavor. The others in the group liked them better than I did though. The service was exceptional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Inside was not overly loud, though lots of people were there. I would give this another try for sure.
Wow!!! Everything we had was phenomenal. You place your order when you walk in. We ordered a mushroom burger to split along with duck poutine fries. Our friends ordered tots, bacon burger and a chicken burger. They also mooooed for a free milkshake which you get if you have an entree and a side. Overall the food was excellent. The standout was the freshly made tots. All the portions were huge and shareable. Other than having to wait and remind about the shakes, the service was great. The restaurant is nice and open so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of anyone else or feel like you can't have a conversation. It's a 30 minute drive but worth it.
Five stars all the way! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parking was surprisingly decent, which is always a plus, and there's plenty of seating for any group size--whether you're dining solo or coming in with a larger party. The food is where this place really shines. There are tons of topping options to customize your burger, and the triple-fried fries are next level--perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I ordered the Blue Dream burger, and it absolutely lived up to the name. The balsamic onions, blue cheese crumbles, and balsamic honey mayo came together beautifully and made every bite amazing. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They also offer soda and beer, which rounds things out nicely. Fair warning though--you might leave in a full-on food coma like I did. Totally worth it and already looking forward to my next visit!
We love a burger done well and Divine Bovine knocks it out of the park! Dang! High quality ingredients, perfectly prepared beef and endless burger possibilities! And the burgers are massive and messy- yum! I'm not a huge fan of counter ordering spots, but that being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They clear the tables, and bring all you need so it's more of a hybrid dining experience. We'll definitely be making DB a stop on our Tucson visits!
After years of driving by and reading their good reviews we finally stopped in to give them a try. The place was very busy and parking tight but manageable. We had a standard burger and a cheeseburger. The fancy burgers were just a tad too unmanageable for us old folks. We shared a large order of fries and they were outstanding. In fact, I had to beat the wife off so I could have some. This was a first for her. The service was excellent and the counter person checked on us several times. The burgers were almost like our home cooked burgers - excellent. Our only complaint was the buns are a tad too soft. Divine Bovine is noisy, but not overbearing like some of their competition. We will return.
Divine Bovine has earned five stars from me for years, but today's visit is only four stars. First, the good. Service is amazing. Nobody does it better. The employees are young, energetic, and friendly. They open the door for customers, give a warm greeting, ask if you're waiting for someone (I was) and brought a big glass of ice water where I was sitting.. My friend arrived momentarily and we went to the counter to order. She ordered a basic cheeseburger and tots. I tried the Pattie's Meltdown and tots. DB tots are house made and not to be skipped! We tried two different horseradishy dipping sauces and both were excellent. Now for the not-so-good. It was really hot in there; felt like a furnace was blowing on us. I was wearing a summer dress with a cardigan, took the cardigan off, and was still roasting. The other negative is that my sandwich was so wet that the Texas Toast was soggy and fell apart. I left most of the toast on the plate. What I ate was tasty but a mess. Next time will be a five again I hope.
What a little surprise! We felt like grabbing a burger and we were in the neighborhood so decided to stop and try Divine Bovine Burgers and it was great. When we walked in the guy at the register greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. I took his recommendation and tried their signature burger with some house made tater tots. Everything tasted great and came out as soon as it ready. I would have tried their desserts however I was stuffed! The ambience was pretty nice with music at a level were you can hear it and not have to shout at the person you are sitting with. I will definitely be coming back to try other items!
Popped in here one evening after work. I've been hearing about this place for a while and finally decided to try it. I had the Divine Bovine Burger and the desert burger. Both burgers were good. Patties cooked to perfection and thick. We also Got the Sweet potato fries.. and those were underwhelming and Overcooked/burnt, not that good. The Sauce that came with the fries wasn't bad. We also had Oreo shakes that were delicious. Staff was nice and helpful with the menu. Also, if you do a post about them on social media, you get a free milkshake.
Dropped in on a whim for lunch today for my first time here. It was busy lunch time and most of the tables in the airy well lit dining room were already taken. I wandered up to the order counter where I was a little overwhelmed by the huge amount of items and various possibilities on the menu. The order taker noticed the look in my eyes and asked if this was the first time I had ever been there. I said yes. He explained to me what was going on with the menu and I looked over the various standard combos and didn't see anything that fit exactly what I wanted and then I saw that on the other side of the menu, you could build your own hamburger from meat, cheeses, sides, toppings, and that's where I concentrated. I noticed that they offered a lettuce wrap and that's what I really wanted so I got the lettuce wrapped burger with tomato and red onion and mayo and ketchup and mustard and pickles and boy was I happy. It was delicious. I also got a side of small fries and after paying they gave me the little number thing to take to a table. After a few minutes, the server brought me my french fries with a real tomato squeeze bottle and real salt and pepper shakers not those crummy little paper things that you have to tear up 100 of them to get enough salt or pepper out to put on your french fries so that was really neat and then a few minutes later he brought out the biggest lettuce wrap burger that I've ever had at a restaurant like this and let me tell you it was delicious. You could really taste the flavor of the meat through everything that I asked for on it. And I really appreciated that Overall, the food was good. The french fries were just right. The order taker at the counter was super helpful and friendly at helping me navigate all the items and deciding on what to get and the server brought the food to me was on a real plate. They brought me a real knige snd fork and real napkins and they told me when I was done just leave it and they will come and clean it all up. What a super experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
This spot had been super hyped up by a foodie friend so we were excited to try. The burger selection was massive- maybe a little overwhelming. I like a little bells and whistles but the whole kitchen sink made the menu a little chaotic. In the end the burger was okay- very greasy, but flavorful. I dont want my bacon to be the spotlight of my burger though. We ordered tots, lemon parm fries, and sweet potato fries to get a good sample. The tots need to sit but once they cool and harden a bit they are tasty! The parm fries are delicious. But the sweet potato fries were sad and both soggy and burnt. The milkshake was okay. We just got vanilla - it was alright. Service was great - everyone was very friendly and helpful (as well as patient while we figured out what we wanted). I would probably go back.

A rich bun, huge patty, and delicious toppings are the soul of this establishment. Unique sauces and spices combined with quality beef and genius craftsmanship make these burgers absolutely perfect. I recommend Divine Bovine to any burger lover looking for their Shangri-La.
Besides the fact that I feel like a moron each time I come here because I spend a good 5 minutes standing looking up at the loaded menu with burger after delicious burger listed. The way it works is you walk up to the counter to order, and thy bring your food out. Huge beer bottle selection. Amazing portions. Like HUGE. It's a nice sized restaurant. Cool decor. The burgers are giant and juicy. I personally like that in a burger. The appetizer of corn on the cob ribs is so good. Hubby likes the taters. The shakes too are so good. I have nothing but praise for this place. Highly recommend if you like burgers.

The burgers cracked beer and service is absolutely divine! I really enjoyed my burger. We also got the Parmesan french fries. It was absolutely amazing. So many fantastic beer and cider options. The burger was delicious and the fries were nice and crunchy! Service was quick and helpful. You order at the counter and get your own drinks but they bring the food out to you. We went during dinner and it was pretty busy but that didn't make the wait long. It's super chill inside. Nice decor and clean. read more

I was skeptical about this place. I was here about a year or so ago and wasn't impressed. People keep saying it's good, so I gave it another try. Well I was wrong! I had a mushroom burger with cheddar instead of Swiss. Yum! Monster burger. Ordered it medium rare but next time, medium for me. The fries are also scrumptious. Order at the counter and the man that helped me was friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. He was extremely helpful. The dining room was clean but nothing special. They have an outdoor space as well. My only complaint was it was pretty cold inside and I like it pretty cold. Not enough to take off stars. It's Arizona and we are switching seasons so it's hard to adjust AC sometimes. Prices are a bit high, but nothing out of the norm these days. $20 including tax for a burger and fries. No drink. I will return. read more
I am a big fan of Divine Bovine. This restaurant offers inside dining and patio seating. You order at the counter and they bring food to you. There are multiple coolers with beer and alcoholic options, as well as regular drinks. I'm favorite are their thick shakes ! Generally they have vanilla and mix in things to change the flavor. The true star of coming to Divine Bovine is their half pound burgers. There is an extensive list of options. I'm boring and usually get a cheese burger, but have tried the specials many times and have yet to be disappointed. I really like the options of sides, as they can swap out for chicken, or a veggie patty, you can go Bun-less or lettuce wrapped. If you go, my side dish of choice is their house made tater tots! Imagine scoops of seasoned mashed potato fried and served up hot. Truly divine! The dinning room seating offers tables, booths, and a few high top tables. I've gone with a groups of 7 a few times. The service is great, with attentive staff making the rounds. The food is something to try if you enjoy burgers. Highly recommend. read more

One word: DELICIOUS! Burgers are usually pretty boring and standard but Divine Bovine takes them, and the rest of their food, to a whole new level. They have some very unique burgers and sides and everything sounded amazing. I ended up ordering the namesake burger, The Divine Bovine, and a side of fried pickles. My friend ordered the BBQ Burger with a side of poutine fries. The fountain drinks they have a so good and not your normal soda. I had a black cherry flavor soda and it was so good. My burger and the fried pickles were delicious but definitely come here when you're hungry. The portions are huge...I ended up taking most of it home for leftovers. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for unique and delicious food. You won't be disappointed. The service was also very friendly..our waitress checked in many times which was great. read more

Location has plenty of seating inside and outside. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We ordered the cowboy burger, the all guac chili, burger, corn ribs, fries and the kids cheeseburger. Portions were really good sized and the burgers were very flavorful. I feel like the patty itself lacked a little bit of seasoning/flavor. Our favorite was the corn ribs. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. read more

Moo-ve over, ordinary burgers--Divine Bovine takes the crown! I met a friend for lunch midday on a Sunday as we were both craving a good burger and had an awesome experience from start to finish! The service was top-notch--every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great meal. I had the Desert Cowboy Burger, and it was cooked absolutely perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and packed with all the right toppings (BBQ sauce and crispy onions are the way to this girls heart). Instead of their fries I opted for the Corn Ribs which were a fun and delicious twist on a traditional presentation of elote - crispy, seasoned just right, and addictive). They have a wonderful drink selection and I was thrilled to find Ray Rays among the choices which paired nicely with my meal.And being a lactose sensitive girlie didn't stop me from ordering the chocolate peanut butter milkshake which was to die for--rich, creamy, and indulgent in all the best ways. Not to mention they had a special going on where you could get your shake free with purchase of a burger and side for "mooing" at the cashier - guess who scored herself a free shake! I love when restaurants have fun with the experience and find ways to surprise and delight guests :) Everything hit the mark, and we left already talking about what we'll try next time. Dining room is large and can accommodate bigger groups as well. Everything was clean, parking was good, and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more
Sunday brunch after church on a Sunday in the Old Pueblo. It's been a while for the Bovine so we made our way over to Wilmot just south of Speedway. This has to be the best burger joints in Tucson, every time, they just crush it. Today was the burger with green chile and tots, plus the kid's special for wifey. Both burgers cooked exactly as we ordered. Fresh soft bun, fabulous fries, and those one-of-a-kind tater tots. I love hamburgers, and Divine Bovine delivers every single time. read more

The people behind the counter were very nice and helpful. You walk up and order at the counter and they bring it all out. They also clean up the table after so you can relax and enjoy your food. Our party ordered a classic cheeseburger, the devine, a build your own with jalapeno. I ended up with the build your own burger with goat cheese on a lettuce wrap. A larger order of fries to share and a side of the tater tots. Everyone was very happy with their food. A few tips: 1. These burgers are HUGE! 2. The tater tots you get 15 in the side which is really good for the price. 3. Everything is grilled right where you order so you will smell like the place. read more

Divine, indeed. A full five stars! I've had a couple of different burgers here, to my delight. Superb. The fries are also incredible. Love the shakes. The pickles are outstanding. I was told he grows his own cucumbers just for the pickles. I think he grows other things for his restaurant, too. I order my burgers medium well, and they come medium well. Not over or underdone, every time! The service is always attentive and super friendly and helpful. One time I forgot my card, and they don't take Apple Pay. The cashier suggested she pay for it and I Apple Pay her back. Wow, super! How's that for being helpful? Hey, Mr. Manager, she saved a sale! Top notch burger place, one of the best in Tucson. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Update: still love this place! This a small burger joint with both indoor and patio seating, however in the summer I prefer indoors. Located next to The Back Dough, this burger spot is great! I've been here a handful of times. I brought my parents from out of town here because they are burger lovers. I've always enjoyed their burger and stuffed tots. This time I tried their grilled chicken sandwich and it was so juicy and good! Their pickles are awesome too. Service is always friendly. read more

First time here: Got the "Guac You Know about Green Chili" burger with some Sweet Potato Fries. After I placed the order I noticed on the adjoining menu board that if you order a burger with a side dish you can get a free milk shake. So I went back up and asked about that and they said they could honor their special. Is it weird to think the guy who took my order should've brought that up? It bothers me I admit... Overall the food was ok, not rock your world good. BTW, that picture represents $24 worth of food, burger and fries are now that much! Must be the BBB in action. Ambiance is nothing special, not dirty dirty but not crazy clean either. Can't say I'd return anytime soon. For one thing I still have to pay off my last bill from there . During my recent culinary adventure in Tucson, I discovered a burger haven that masterfully combines gourmet flavors with a relaxed atmosphere.
