My husband wanted a burger & fries, so we chose Saguaro Corners. Great burgers, fries and most other food. His burger was cooked to his request. I had a steak salad and my steak was cooked perfectly as well. Salad greens and other items were fresh and delicious. I love their white balsamic dressing. Lexy was our server and she got our order correct, checked on us for drink refills and all was good. The dining room was clean but it is a bit dated. Time for a reno. I showed up solo and ate on the bar patio area & the girl bartending was so nice and constantly keeping up with me, chatting and making it a comfortable enjoyable solo lunch. The food was great- loved the rice & veggies they used. She made and awesome mocktail- I think it was like a pear blossom or something? Really tasty! My only complaint is their restroom door is tough... takes a lot to open/close and it closes quick on itself. It slammed on my finger when I was exiting the restroom to go back to the patio. My finger was legit sore/bent/bruised for a good 2 months.. If you're leaving the national park, this is a great spot to grab a bite. I think they just need to calibrate their doors a bit so they open and close with ease and not high pressure. So be careful! read more

This place has beautiful views. I went to order a few different drinks, but were out of literally everything. I tried to order beer and I also tried a cranberry margarita, I ended up just getting a water. The burger had great flavor. My daughter absolutely loved her wings we thought they were good size. My husband was not the biggest fan of the Carne Asada fries. They were very soggy and tasted like the fries were already cold when they assembled them and I just feel like mushy fries are never good. If we went back, we would pass on the fries, but definitely go for wings or a burger. read more

This place has been here since the 50's & it shows. Apparently, they have been doing something right! Service was SUPER! Food was just as good!! Started with cup of Chicken Corn Chowder w/Corn Bread. WOW!! Some of the best I've ever had. Next Fish/Chips w/Slaw. The chips were perfectly cooked. I like they left the outside skin on of the potato. Fish was 'real' Cod & slaw was great. My Wife had the Chicken Enchilada, Rice & Bean. With so many Mexican restaurants here, they did an admirable job. She had the Jalapeño Marguerita which was very good. Me, just D. Coke. Tab $63+ tip. Well there's a packed house and vibe for sure but it definitely isn't the food that brings locals here . My husband's mahi taco tortillas just crumbled when he picked up to take first bite. My vegan stew was good and I appreciate a vegan item on the menu more than you know , however it was SO SALTY I didn't finish. It came with sourdough garlic bread ( I was assured was vegan butter) and that bread had so much butter I also didn't finish. Our Iced tea was so refreshing , we must've had 5 or 6 ! The only reason i am giving it 3 starts is because the first time i ordered from here, i liked it. Second time was a huge disappointment. I did contact the restaurant (both were carry out orders) via email, which i found on their website, but never gotten a response. What i ordered was supposed to be classic mac and cheese with caramelized onions. I tried to check in after I got home but Yelp wouldn't let me. We went here after a hike at Saguaro national park and had a delicious lunch with friends. The food was delicious and the beer selection was very nice. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. Bathrooms are single use multi gender style but also very clean. The inside of the restaurant although nice was very echo type and seemed loud. Our waitress was amazing and kept our drinks rolling and updated us on the food as it was getting prepared! Ok we met our daughter here for lunch yesterday. So often getting great service and great food at the same time is rare. Not this time! Our server Chelsea knocked it out of the park! Food we ordered an appetizer that was awesome! Poppito Dip was suggested by our waitress and it was really tasty! I mean really good. Get ya some! I ordered 6 chicken fingers and the cheese curds. They were fantastic. The chili sauce for dipping was very good. Daughter had the Cornbread Ranch salad and said it rocked the house. Wife got the Corn Chowder Soup and said it was super good. This is the perfect ol' style built 1950's restaurant, such a great calming ambience where you take in the open outside patio or inside! The food is soooo good, my fave is the green chile Mac with pulled pork, I'm not kidding you the portion is huge and one order can feed two! The reason I didn't give five stars, is the outside patio sits low and the metal fence just covers the view of the mountains, more or less it's to cover all the close parking, so not much of a view. I ordered the ribs which I have done a few times now, and my friend gets there to pick up my order and they informed him that they were out of ribs! first of all, who doesn't take a phone number for takeout? And second, why was I not notified of this when you took my order? He drove 15 min to pick up the order and had to order a different dinner which was Salmon. I'm done with this place. Went there last week with old school friends and we sat outside. I ordered the Pozole which came out barely warm, my 2 friends had inedible fish tacos and my other friend had the chicken corn soup, also nearly inedible because all it was just warmed broth but mostly heavy cream with some corn and chicken thrown on top. We sat there a good while, talking and having a nice time. Never saw a server again after food was dropped off except to leave the bill. No water refills, no asking if we wanted another drink and then never picked up our paid tabs. They sat on the table when we finally walked out and went to a better place. Saguaro Corners has been around forever! They remain an old favorite in Tucson. This week I had a meal there, and the ambiance was fantastic! Sat outside, enjoyed the smell of a grill and cool desert night. Our server, Brooke, was AWESOME!!!! Always smiling, came to the table right away, was attentive to our needs, and was simply the best! Came here last night with my mom while I'm visiting from California. She said it is raved about by "locals" and I can see why! Really fun and friendly atmosphere/staff, and good food. We sat inside because it was a little cool, but were next to a big window with tons of bird feeders outside. It was so fun to watch all the different types of birds coming to the feeders! My mom tried the green chile carnitas Mac n cheese, and I had the saguaro burger (with fried jalapeños, smoked gouda, and avocado. The food was tasty, especially the Mac! Great bar on the outskirts of the desert with a view! Bartender was very friendly and even as a first time visitor I saw her chatting up locals and regulars, which helps liven up a small desert saloon.
