This is not an exaggerated description of events. I ordered a large drink because the only thing worth going to sonic for is the ice. I was the only person in the drive through and the ditsy high school girl A) Had her shirt rolled up exposing half of her stomach and B) stood in front of the drive through window texting and didn't notice me until I knocked on the glass. Once she re-took my one drink order, she poured it, put the lid on, and walked away. The total time I spent in the drive through was 15 minutes and all I wanted was a large lemonade. I ordered a hamburger which was on sale for half price, specifically stating that I wanted the half price hamburger. I also ordered fries and a drink. The price should have been around $4. They charged me for a combo at $8.50 (there is no combo on the menu for $8.50). Then subtracted the $2.00 or so for the hamburger so I wound up paying about the same amount as I would have with no half price burger. I wrote to Sonic's management, sending them documentation, receipt, picture of sale sign, and picture of menu. Absolutely no response. They are ripping us off. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! I have been here 3 times and each time it got worse. The 1st time I ordered a vanilla shake and some French fries. The fries were cold, and the shake wasn't even frozen and it was watery. GROSS! Plus, we had to wait 15 minutes which is ridiculous. The 2nd time I got a burger, fries, and a coke. So my plain cheeseburger turns out to be chicken, my fries are cold and hard, and I don't even know what my coke was but it sure wasn't coke. I'll start off by saying I've been a big fan of Sonic Drive-In since I was a teenager in the 1970s this is how to be one of the worst ones I've ever been to. Let's start off with the food, I ordered the four piece chicken strip combo that comes with Texas toast, tater tots, one onion ring ( why only one) and a regular size drink. It did take a little bit for the order to come out but not an exorbitant amount of time so I won't hold that against them. Upon opening the box my one and only onion ring was missing. The dipping sauce, i.e. white gravy, was nearly missing from the box, the waitress had grabbed that just before bringing the order. I used the term gravy in the loosest possible definition of what was in the container, basically a bland, somewhat tasteless kind of liquid resembling gravy. How do you overcook tater tots to the point of little brown crunchy meteorites? The Texas toast was nowhere near the appearance or consistency of toast but more like a slightly browned piece of white bread heavily saturated with butter that hang limply when picked up. The four chicken strips we're only slightly less dry and crunchy then the tater tot meteorites. As I said before I like Sonic, for well over 30 years now and I realize we're not talking five, four or even three star Gourmet restaurant here but it should be at least good basic food. I don't know where this particular operation lost its way but it's going to take the zombie apocalypse before I venture back to the Sonic Drive-In in Windsor Colorado. read more

HORRIBLE! I only gave 1 star because it's required, but I'd rather give negative stars! I go to sonic for happy hour drinks in Greeley twice a week! Yesterday I was home so I went to my local Windsor Sonic for my happy hour drinks. I ordered 3 drinks, it took 20 minutes to receive my 3 drinks and when they came out there was only 2 drinks. The girl went back, 5 minutes later another girl comes out again with only 2 drinks! Finally, 35 minutes after I placed my 3 drink order I received the correct order! I think there is a real lack of training at this location and I don't believe I will ever return! read more

Feb. 17,2016.....worst service and food ever.....my wife and I had an appointment in Windsor at 7:00 PM, we got to the Sonic at about 6:10 to grab a quick bite before our appointment , we placed an order for 2 corn dogs, 2 tater tots and 2 medium drinks. At 6:35 our order had not arrived.....pressed the call button several times....no response......at 6:45 my wife walked to the entrance and was met by a car hop with our order. We paid for the order....the tater tots were cold, the corn dogs were warm, however the drinks were cold, the cups were crammed full of ice and no condiments at all, tried the call button, again no reply. We both are most of the corn dogs ando about 4-5 tater tots. We ended up throwing the rest in the trash. Will never go back to the Windsor Sonic.......bad....bad.....management needs to get a clue ! I started to pull into a stall when the right side hit the sign on that side. It scratched and dented the side of my van. The way the signs are posted, it creates a very small stall for a larger vehicle as well as the angle of them! I went in to tell them what happened. She told me, "oh yeah that happens all the time! Even went out of my way to talk to the manager to tell them my concerns about the wait time and service- but nothing has changed. Recently tried Sonic for the first time in Loveland. Food and service were both great. So when the family wanted burgers for dinner I said let's go to Sonic. BIG mistake! Service was incredibly slow as it looked like all of the kids were on break at the same time. We waited 15 minutes for our order. Took the food home. Fries were hard and cold. The burgers were burnt to a crisp around the edges. Our dogs are the Sonic and we threw a pizza in the oven. Very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

I love Sonic. However this experience was sub-par. I waited two minutes to be acknowledged by the drive thru operator. She was very polite but was overwhelmed by the 8 o'clock rush. When I got to the window my food sat there while she was on the headset. She took my money and gave me my food. The fries were cold. While she was handing me my drink I told her that I apologize to her because I didn't want to be rude but the fries were cold. She took my fries back and gave me what she presented as new fries however upon leaving I realized they were just as cold. They might have been different fries but I doubt it. When I checked my hamburger it was half out if the bag and had fallen apart. There was also half of a hamburger on top of it. Disgusting. If given the choice please skip this sonic. read more

Thirty three minutes for a lemonade and a single flavor slush. Paid by credit card, otherwise I would've just left. I had to finally knock on their window to inform them we'd been waiting so long and they didn't even know if I had paid yet much less what the order was. We ordered from the front of the store, we ordered two junior cheese burgers, first time they came out so cold the cheese wasn't even melted. The young man apologized and brought out two new ones, both of those stone cold too! Yuck. The front of the restaurant is so gross, the grounds need power washed so badly. Just filthy. We walked back to our car, we parked in the back, the whole back of restaurant covered in grease and cigarette butts. Really needs cleaned badly. The young lady at the window (Morgan or Megan?) was being extremely distant and rude to me as though my visit was a hassle to her. Happy Hour is a bait and switch. I went to the drive through with 15 minutes before the end of happy hour. There was one car in front of me. It took them almost 20 minutes to get this persons order right. When I finally got to place my order they told me happy hour was over. I told them I had been in the drive through lane for almost 20 minutes and i would have made it if the previous order didn't take so long. They said there was nothing they could do.
