What an authentic and delicious barbecue! we have been searching for Sonny's fabulous type of fresh, authentic hickory smoked food. We ordered the Sampler platter, since we had been there before. It came with tender, well barked ribs, moist and tasty smoked chicken, unbelievably moist and flavorful brisket plus pulled pork. Annie, our server was phenomenal! Ordered pulled pork plate for delivery. The food was cold, and 1/3 of the pork was fat globs with skin. The meat also had a weird texture. Not sure whats going on with this location. The baked beans were good, except for the macaroni noodles that were mixed in with one order of beans. read more

We ordered a to-go order of a full rack of baby back ribs (since you can't order a 1/2 rack) on the app, and when we my husband got home, there was only a 1/2 rack in the container. We were sharing the order, so my husband had to find something else to eat. When I went back through the drive-thru on a different day, they gave me the wrong order, so I had to go in and let them know that they gave me the wrong order. They gave the excuse that they had a huge to-go order and that is why they messed up my drive-thru order. I explained that just a few days earlier they had messed up our order on the app and they said as long as you put it on the app that there was an issue, it would get handled. It has now been 2 weeks later and there has been no refund since we didn't get a full rack of ribs. If you do go there, be sure to check your order before you leave the place since they consistently get the orders incorrect and they do not care about actual customer service. read more

Don't waste your time going here. Our first time to this location. Waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table . Waitress finally took our order. We waited and saw most of the tables around us had been served. Could not find our waitress. Over half hour waiting at this point. Located manager, who was surprised with our dilemma,and found our order was just being prepared. Why would we continue to wait?? We decided to leave at this point. On Feb 25 at 7pm. Drive thru my order was 1/2 chicken with beans and fries. Yes they were busy but quality suffered. At 7:50 my meal came. I drove home expecting a delicious meal once I opened the bag the container was sopping wet. I opened the container and was surprise that all items were swimming in a wet liquid. Mac and cheese was smeared across the chicken. Bread was totally soggy along with the fries. It appeared as if someone pulled it out of the trash and tried to wash the container. Very Disgusting. I wrote to the management on their web site. NO ANSWER. After you pay 20.22 for the meal is what you get and they don't care. They lost me as a customer and I will spread the word. loved it, the New Sonny's on Colonial just opened and the food is good..for $13.99 you get a good combo of two meat choices and two sides with garlic bread. you get huge portions of a drink. Food was good. However, we ordered two sides of fries and some coleslaw that left a lot to be desired.. The sides were at best skimpy. You get more fries from a McDonalds medium order. I felt cheated. The Coleslaw order was even worse. The container was the appropriate size but was less than two thirds full. I didn't feel cheated, I felt robbed. Never disappoints. We've been going in since they opened last month and we always leave happy. Sure they are brand new so a few hiccups here and there but the service is always exceptional and the food is always fresh! BBQ egg rolls are a must try! read more

Today we decided to visit Sonny's BQ in Ocoee at 3pm after my husbands dialysis's! We went through drive through to the menu to order from. Than we were approached by a young who sits outside to take your. After we ordered he took our payment but we saw where you added a tip. I felt compelled to tip him which I think is ridiculous for fast food since we are on a budget as seniors! Than even being 3pm still had to wait for food! I got a grilled brisket and cheese sandwich which was terrible because there wasn't much brisket with cheese on Texas toast. My husband had pulled pork sandwich that he shared with me because I didn't get enough meat!! I have been to many states eating BQ. I was raised in rural Virginia on a farm raising pigs! We had BQ's with family and friends over 100 people!!! I would stay up all night watching as a pig was roasting over an open pit with the wonderful aromas of the pig and sauce cooking so I know good to great BQ!!! I won't go back to Sonny's read more

I have traveled through the state of Florida and I've gone through plenty of Sonny's today I pulled in through the drive-through and it's a new Sonny's just opening I asked for a pulled pork on sourdough bread garlic bread I pay $12 and something for a drive away and it wasn't my water I brought it back and told them girl came over took 15 minutes took it back brought it back in the same container cold french fries I walk out the door open up the cover and it was on a sourdough bread but there was not even 2 ounces of meat on this thing it was small brought it back in and manager came over finally again after away and told me that they gave me a kids meal and she went out replaced it and brought it back in the same container same french fries and the cold I will not come back read more

I was excited to see Sonny's being built in Ocoee. As a kid we went there often. This was awfUl and expensive. The pulled chicken was extremely dry. I chose two sauces and got none. The pulled pork wasn't pulled and also very dry. You had to cut it with a knife. The sweet potato had no flavor. Went to Sonny's for the drive through and the line was very long. They did a great job and the line moved quick. Ordered the 2 meat combo with ribs and pulled pork/brisket and pulled pork. We had 4 different sides. Everything was great and a good price. I highly suggest going there. read more

We were excited to see Sonnys come to town. However, 2 times we ordered from them for delivery, each order has been wrong. Most recently, they did not bring any of our sides. When calling them, the young lady who answered the phone said, I needed to call Door Dash who delivered it. Unfortunately, I didnt go through door dash, i ordered from Sonnys website directly for delivery. The young lady told me I was wrong and that it is truly on door dash. At that point I called door dash and that gentleman was very apologetic but stated that it truly is a Sonnys order not customer ordered. At that time the manager called me and expressed I was right and didnt know why she didnt get a manager. So she refunded me for the sides. Gee thanks, over 100 dollar order and no sides. Horrible customer service. I never want anything for free, just want what I paid for and not to be told I am wrong when clearly she didnt understand her own site. I strongly recommend sticking with 4 rivers and just dont eat bbq on Sundays when 4 rivers is closed. Will never go there again. read more
