Well I thought I better elaborate on my wonderful experience at the Sono Bello in Tacoma. End of March I went in for a consultation with Liz, and decided that I was going to go ahead and go through the procedures... Inner thighs, knees, calves, outer thighs, hips! Why so many areas - I have had large legs my entire life. My calves, knees, and thighs were all one size (big size). I would lose weight only to not change much in the leg area they were tough spots for me. My pants size would only fluctuate one down... and yes I worked out. In fact I had a personal trainer my husband who was district manager for 10 years at Family Fitness Centers and has the body of a god :). I went in to see Dr. Marten end of April and we decided to split up the procedure into 2 parts. May 5th, I had inner thighs, knees, and inner calves done. The procedure is pretty forgetful itself, you don't remember much. The nurse at the end dressed me in my compression suit with the pads for the leakage. I did not wake up again till the next day felt sore in spots. Yes, the very next day I showered, washed my suit no problems or issues. I replaced the pads. Third day, I was not leaking took pads out. A bit sore, bruised, and swollen but not enough pain to use any pain meds. Major changes in just 2 weeks, I wore a skirt above the knees for the first time in my adult life for sure maybe even since I was a teen (still had the suit, but looked like I was wearing leggings). Second surgery, May 24th outer calves, hips, outer thighs (oh yes and by then I was ready and I added my waist and bra roll :)... Third surgery, June 8th had my arms, and front of thighs done too! Today is June 20th, I am starting to see everything change for the better. I already fit a smaller size even with some areas still swollen. BEST thing (other than going back to college late in life) I've ever done for myself. It was this or a new car, I definitely made the right choice hehehehehehe... I had thought about lipo for many years however I was too nervous about being put under during the procedure. I came across Sono Bello and was curious as to how this procedure was done with merely a local anesthetic. My husband and I went to the Tacoma office and met with Melody. She discussed the process and was very kind and comforting. I was so impressed with the pricing, financing and ease of the process that I made an appointment for my tummy, hips and outer thighs. The staff recommended that I have the process done in two segments one week apart in order to get the best results. I was so impressed at the concern they showed and the desire to make certain I had the best outcome. A week later I came back to the clinic for my first surgery. It was quite an easy process and all my worry and anxiousness was for not! The nurse ensured that I was comfortable and tended to my every whim. Music of my liking was played and every precaution was taken to ensure my comfort. I was a very nervous patient and after a few minutes of the procedure being started I realized it was quite an easy process. I was awake the full time, clearly remember every part of the procedure and am pleasantly surprised at how little discomfort there was. The following week I went back for my outer thigh and hips and once again was eased into the procedure with the kind nurse. I am merely two weeks out from my tummy procedure and one week out from my thigh procedure. I am so happy with the results thus far and cannot wait to see what each new day brings for me! Within one day my results were phenomenal. I cannot stop looking at myself and smiling. Dr. Potyondy did both of my procedures and I am so grateful that he did. His professionalism, care, concern and dedication to my happiness were beyond belief. I truly feel that Dr. Potyondy not only did a magnificent job at redoing my body, he redid my confidence level. Please read...I have been struggling for years to get rid of my belly fat, I finally resorted to Liposuction...I read reviews and some freaked me out and others were very comforting. With all of that being said, you can read a huge range of happy and unhappy customers, but here's my experience. I am so happy I went to Sono Bello. I went initially for liposuction and ended up also getting a mini tummy tuck. I wish I had gone 4 years ago after my hysterectomy and when I started putting on this belly fat. I will be turning 40 this week and I am glowing!! My fat under my breast is gone, my lower stomach is flat and smooth, my sides have a beautiful curve in (not out) and my back bubbles are gone!!! It has been a little bit of a rough month, as with any surgery you need time to recover but I can already see the most amazing results. I told Liz, the lady that did my initial screening: she told me that of what fat she could grab on my stomach, that the doctor could take about 80%, I told her she lied. The doctor took at least 110% and I couldn't be happier. This Sono Bello office in Tacoma is so friendly, not just because I'm sure they want your business, but because I feel they truly care about me, the patient, and the outcome of my procedure. I called multiple times after surgery with "stupid questions" and they were always instantly responsive and understanding. If you are unhappy with your body, please consider the Tacoma Sono Bello office for all of your contouring needs. As I said, I'm just over a month post op and I am so Happy. I am three weeks post Laser Liposuction treatment. I came to Sonobello in Tacoma because I was unable to lose stubborn fat in my abdominal section. I am asthmatic, and it felt as if I was gradually being suffocated. My experience has been fantastic! During my initial consultation, Joanne treated me with the upmost respect. She explained the entire procedure and all the financing options available. Within a few days of the consultation, Joanne had me on the schedule for this life-changing treatment. I am a rape survivor, during the assault I sustained an injury to my head. Throughout the procedure, I remember the incredibly kind and professional nurse with a French-Canadian accent ensuring my self-respect. That small act of kindness meant so much to me. The day following the procedure, I wore up and could breathe! It was incredible! I felt great! Three days after the treatment I returned to work and was able to walk four miles. Where to start... ? I have been thinking about doing something like this for a few years now. After loosing 110lbs and being in great shape, I had to have a serious back surgery and couldn't run or workout like I did before. So, of course, I gained a little of the weight back. But no matter what I did even before my surgery, I could never get rid of my 'muffin-top' and I also had never really had a waist to speak of as I'm very short in stature. So, when I finally worked up the nerve, I called Sono Bello. From the first phone call, I was put at ease. I was afraid to be judged or looked down on. No one made me feel that way. so...I had twins a few years ago and any one who has had a child can confirm that your body will likely never be the same. How I felt about my body had a huge impact on how I was living my life. I made the decision to do something about it. I called Sono Bello to make an appointment and I swear to you that was the hardest part. Liz (Most amazing consultant ever) was more than gracious about what I considered to be my flaws. I decided that letting myself feel better about my appearance was a really important part of changing my outlook. I feel confident and strong and I deserve to take care of me, for me. I absolutely love my new, refreshed and youthful appearance thanks to Dr. Hardeep Dhaliwal!! I'm a happy and energetic 58 year old mother and grandmother who has always felt young and healthy. Sono Bello in Tacoma is amazing! I went in for my first laser assisted body contouring in February of 2016 and had such amazing results that I went back in August of 2017 for additional areas. I will start off by saying that Liz Downie (Sr Patient Care Specialist) was great with helping me determine which areas would benefit me the most and still stay within my budget. I didn't feel pressured at all either time I worked with her in scheduling my procedures. Dr. Marten was my surgeon and he did such an amazing job. He was very professional and the work he does is brilliant. The results I got were so good that it has really motivated me to stay in shape. I was wearing a size 10/12 clothing before my first surgery and today I wear a 5/6. Granted this is not a weight loss surgery; however it gave me the motivation to lose the weight. After my 2nd surgery I also went in for the Venus Freeze procedure. Erica was my tech and she was awesome. Super personable, always made sure I was comfortable, etc. I have referred people to Sono Bello and will continue to refer them because this is by far the best thing I have ever done. My experience with the Tacoma office began with Liz in my initial consultation. I was expecting a hard sales closer, one to keep pushing and would not take no for answer until she at least got a $1000 deposit. Quite the opposite. Liz was anything but pushy, lived her! I walked out of there, taking the time I needed to process my decision. One week later I had my upper/lower abs, my waist and my hips done. They asked me my expectation when all is said and done more than several times. Every step along the way. And that question was followed up with the statement 'this is not a weight loss surgery'. Many of these negative reviews seem to be unreasonable expectations and no ownership in their part of the transformation. One comment says she started at 272 lbs. What was expected? Unreasonable. The entire office and staff at the Tacoma office is so awesome, from Liz to Dr Bullis and all those in between. Thank you for all you have done. From the minute i walked in for my consult i was treated so wonderfully. The front office ladies make you feel good at the door with kind words and smiles. The nurses are superb with respect throughout the before and after treatment. On my surgery morning my nurse made me feel like family and eased my nerves simply by her kindness. I came to Sono Bello hoping that I would be able to do something with the deep stretch marks that I have had since having my son 14 years ago. I had my consultation with Liz Downie. Liz is a sweetheart and was very knowledgeable about the procedures and what I should have done to achieve the results that I was looking for. She continues to follow up with me on how I am doing and how my results are and makes you feel like a real person. Dr. Dragotti was my surgeon. I couldn't be more happy with my experience. The staff was professional yet down to earth, funny and supportive as well. This the second time I have been to Sonobella. The first five years ago!! And the results have definitely lasted. (Abs, muffins, Inner thighs! FAB) My recent visit involved the upper arms and back and front bra bulge. I am even more pleased with these results.
