The owner was so sweet and patient as it was our first times. She also accommodated two German Shepherds at no additional cost! Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages. She is able to provide drinking water, glasses, and plates. The interior is so quaint and cozy and was a super comfortable experience overall. What a great way to spend an afternoon with friends! Ricci, the owner is absolutely delightful. We booked an off-site private gathering with her to pass the time during our girls weekend and she did not disappoint. Ricci was kind, patient and tons of fun. A few years ago my husband bought me some of the amazing candles that Ricci makes at Sonoma 707 Candle. The candles smell wonderful and last for a long time. My favorites are the spiced strudel and lemon. Today, we went to a candle making class and had a lot of fun exploring the wide variety of scents and making our own candles and labels for them. Ricci is very kind and did a great job explaining the steps and why she chooses the ingredients she does. I would highly recommend the class to everyone! read more

The Sonoma 707- Candle is a great spot to make a candle, take a class or buy a gift. Locally owned and really cool. We have taken classes and love the candle selection that is offered. Our favorite is the Blood Orange and Meyer Lemon Candles. Ricci has done a great job creating a super fun environment for her guests. Both local and tourists enjoy her classes. Such a terrific experience. Shop owner is super sweet and provides great info about the candles. We brought our own snacks, drinks and wine. Owner had no problem with us making ourselves at home. Found this little gem for our girl's trip to Sonoma. After days of wine tasting, we were able to book a private candle making class. The owner was incredible and knowledgeable about the entire process. It was something different to include on our trip. You get to pour your own candles and make your own labels. It's in a cute little village (Jack London) and has plenty of parking. Prices are definitely reasonable and it was a perfect ending to my girl's trip. read more

Loved this experience! The owner, Ricci, is so sweet and truly created and enjoyable experience and knows her craft well! I booked the candle making class for my mom while she was visiting and it was perfect. We made 3 candles - 2 smaller ones and one medium one. We were able to go through and sniff a ton of scents and figure out what we liked best and even create our own blend. I've had the candles now for a couple weeks and they're nowhere near the bottom, they burn evenly and the wax almost seems to reset itself for the next use. Plus the scents are perfect in the room, but not too overwhelming when burning. This is a great activity with girlfriends or visitors when you want something other than just winery hopping. With that said - while the candles set for ~45 minutes, you can walk to a couple different tasting rooms in Glen Ellen so it's perfect! read more

Wonderful experience! We went there as a part of a bachelorette party. We made 3 candles each and picked the scents from an elaborate array of oils. Then we topped them with dainty dried flowers. The biggest surprise was the custom labels we each made We brought our own sparking wine and snacks but also visited the yummy chocolate store next door.
