All qualities I was in need of. She rushed my order, did an amazing job blowing up a smaller pixel photo to a large format using computer techniques. A real pro, she was able to tell me what sizes would work according to what we have and what photoshopping can do. We decided on something , I ran to get a frame, and she put the whole thing together, charging hardly anything for all the things-- rush job, putting the finished product into the matting and frame, etc. I also met her partner (I assume), another woman, and Jennifer told me, "We are a small business, it's just she and me." Literally, any time I had a question about anything related to photography or printing, Stuart, Ed, Constance, Chrysta, or Nathan would make the time for me and help me out or give me feedback. I went in to get an appraisal of my Hasselblad camera for insurance, and had the pleasure of talking with Tom and Norman about cameras. They did an appraisal for me, and when I asked how much I owed them, they graciously declined payment. In a time when it's so common to go online to buy things like cameras, this is a store where paying sales tax (which most of the major online dealers collect now, anyway) is absolutely worth it for the expertise and support this store provides. Their prices are competitive, and they have a great selection of high quality, carefully inspected used gear as well. I didn't even know it was here until recently, but now that I know, Camera West will be my go-to for future purchases. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Jason was especially kind and informative, and mentioned that they've inspected this camera model for years. It was helpful to have him briefly check the camera. The camera had never been used by the original collector. He checked the overall condition, the shutter, viewfinder, and film housing, and didn't try to charge us for an inspection when some places might try to add extra fees. It made us feel like they truly care about their customers rather than trying to hustle money. Based on his inspection, the camera was in great condition. We bought Portra 400 and HP5 (5 rolls each), totaling roughly $160. Jamie at the register helped confirm that we had the correct film for the camera, which we were very thankful for because we had originally grabbed the wrong size. She helped us get the correct one.
