Do a dry run to locate the facility. Review the hours online. Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on the part of the staff. I do not know the staff, nor do I remember their names. However, I am a former RN. This is a pandemic and they are risking their lives daily, hourly to provide care. I was quite down and it was late in the day and still fasting. I checked in at 3:14pm and was called at approximately 3:45pm due to a full office. She was extremely friendly even under working so hard. She was able to draw my blood on the first attempt. I was amazed. She will always be my girl to go to when it comes to lab work. And OMG after that wait, they CANCELLED the culture from the drop off. How much you bet they CHARGE $$ for that lost test. Useless! Another issue happened when my elderly family member got into the back when I ran out to get paperwork. Returned to a door slammed locked shut. He and the phlebotomist did one lab but didn't remember/know there were two. So he had to get poked 2x. I have been to this facility several times in the last two years. The first several times were for…read moreMRIs, an x-ray today, and today was my first mammogram ever. I won't lie; I was terrified of having a mammogram done thanks to the horror stories I heard years ago before I was at an age when mammograms are suggested. I was very surprised at how gentle the technician was and how quick the procedure was. Every time I have gone to this facility, for which ever procedure I needed done, the staff is always professional, caring, and efficient. I don't think I have ever waited longer than five minutes to be escorted to the room for changing into the gown for my procedure. Once in my gown, I have never had to wait to have the procedure to be done. From the moment I walk in the front door through the end of my visit, I am always treated like a person not just another number on a form. From check in to check out and everything in between, all the staff members are always friendly and very willing to help in anyway I may need. They even try to make certain that I am comfortable whilst having a procedure done. Even on phone calls, the staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. If you are in the Prescott area and need to have any imaging done (MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, mammogram, etc.), I would highly recommend using PMI. Even if you don't live in the Prescott area (such as the Phoenix or Flagstaff areas), and you are tired of waiting for your procedures, sick of being treated like another number, you've had a bad experience at an imaging facility, or you are just afraid of having a procedure done, this is definitely worth the drive. Another plus for this facility is that it does take Medicare. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Whomever drew the blood was calm and professional. Whoever recorded my order into my patient file was so nervous. She didn't respond to my hello, nor my several thank you's when I departed. Whatever the situation, the person on the computer was hostile and rude because of her terror recording my visit details. When she managed eye contact, her look could have killed. I have spent too much time trying to get my blood draw results. Inexcusable to be so complicated.

Robbie was absolutely amazing. He focused on her and spoke directly to my child through everything (not to me), and introduced himself and showed her a cool handshake. He reassured her and promised to be quick. He was so calm and "cool" with her. She was sooo nervous. She started fussing a bit, but as soon as he got the needle in, she realized it wasn't bad. She stopped crying and just watched, she was actually laughing at the end of it (mind you, flu shots were a wrestling match with tears last month). When he got done, her exact words were " that wasn't bad". For pediatric (or adult) blood draws, get Robbie! You won't regret it! Best blood draw experience EVER! Absolutely fantastic phlebotomist, give that guy a raise! I will come to this Sonora quest from now on because Robbie is absolutely worth traveling for.
