I have to take a minute to highlight this place for blood work. They are located inside of the Safeway at 32nd and Camelback. You must book an appointment thru their website- no walkins. They are incredibly prompt (much appreciated since I'm normally fasting and HANGRY when I arrive.) The best thing for me is that these folks know what they are doing. I have tiny veins and they never struggle with the draw. Results are typically done within two days and if you sign up for their portal, you'll get an alert when it's ready. Bonus is there is a Starbucks in the Safeway too so you can go straight to breakfast!! read more

I scheduled an appointment for May 13, 2026. When I arrived that same day, Karla was unable to find my appointment because their system was not working properly. I returned the next day, 05/14/26, with my appointment confirmation notice, and it was confirmed that the appointment had indeed been scheduled. Once she recognized the appointment, however, her attitude became very confrontational and unprofessional. I am not happy with the service. Honesty here. I never used the services at this location. #1 it is hard to find being inside Safeway. #2 it is by appointme only. Nothing showed the appointment required until I got to the entry door. Their phone service to get directions does not tell you that fact either. My map actually dropped me off at a veterinarian office which really concerned me. I asked the lady behind the desk if it really was by apointment only and I received a curt yes sir. I asked if I used my phone to make an appointment if there was one available today and got another curt no sir. Might have been more sympathetic knowing people may not all know their rules. The worst lab in the entire country. 5 years ago I got a blood draw there and they didn't listen to me about the size of the needle and jabbed it in. It hit a nerve and my arm has been screwed up ever since and will be for life. Now my insurance is trying to force me to go there. They will never touch me with a needle again. I had to do a home test. They fought with the dr's office about who does the prior auth (after all of these years?). By the time they found out it was their responsibility the specimens had gone bad. I went back in to the same place and they refused to help me. Told me the dr. had to do it. Then why could I do it 2 weeks earlier? No answer. Some of the most rude people. Disgusting place. I came here because it was the nearest location after the getting the order for blood work from my allergist. Come to find out, they are appointment only (the first time I have ever heard of a blood lab not allowing walk-ins). Luckily, I do not live too far and was able to get an appointment later in the day. However, I made my appointment for 2 pm and am still sitting here in the waiting room. Neither of the people up front have made any attempts to explain what is taking so long or why I have been waiting for nearly an hour. So it is absolutely gross they don't have those with special needs get blood drawn if they need to walk in. My son is in the autism spectrum and struggles with a lot. I have been trying to get appt here for 45 mins now. I have the worst time trying to make appt online I end up calling for one. their application is horrible and it needs to be updated. I went on another medical office and made appt in five mins. this is awful and no one seems to care. go on Esmil.com and see how easy it is then go back and try to get appt at this location. impossible. read more

Very small lab located inside of Safeway right next to the Pharmacy. Today was my first experience at this location. There were two techs working one person doing dual roles from checking people in and doing labs. Then another person doing the lab work. There is only two rooms to do labs since this is a smaller location. My appointment time was at 11:15am but I came in earlier for the check in process arriving at 10:52am. I was immediately greeted by the woman checking people in who had me sign in. In observing her behavior she was very friendly to anyone who walked through the door. An elderly woman walked in who was late because she was lost. She handled the situation professionally and was able to accommodate her. That to me went a long ways as her act of kindness did not go unnoticed. At 10:58 she fully checked me in to get me setup for my appointment. There were two people ahead of me and one person in the room. The lab tech named Jennifer brought me in at 11:07am. Jennifer was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. The ease of the appointment. She had me in and out. This location is by appointment only through Sonora Quest Labs user friendly website. Super friendly staff. read more

How is it that I have an appointment and no other clients are there and they still cannot take me on time??? Something needs to improve STAT!! I will say that I love the ladies here. I'm not sure why this lab has a low rating. I had and appt at 9:15am and I'm sitting in my car at 9:28am writing this. I'm not a fan of getting blood drawn but Nate made it fast and easy with no pain. I actually always expect to wait a bit at any medical appt. This location is great and convenient. I should've read the reviews before I went. I have a very short lunch and this was the closest location. There were two techs and one receptionist. I didn't have an appointment but I was still hopeful as the tech allowed the receptionist decide. The receptionist gave the tech the eye which meant no. So even though there was no one in the waiting room or being cared for, I was tuned away. I have a chronic condition and this lab test will finally allow me to start therapy after years of suffering. I wont return to this location and i will request other lab options. read more

DO NOT go here to get your labs drawn, you WILL be mistreated. The man who worked the front desk (no name tag of course) was incredibly rude! His behavior was unprofessional and appalling. Imagine being waited on my a scorned ex lover- that is what your interaction will be, full of spite. I've tried 3 times to get an appointment for someone I'm the caregiver for. Twice online and once in person at three different locations. Each time I've been told by personnel that they didn't have an appointment registered. The last time I made the appointment in person at the 32ed and camelback location and they told me when I got there they didn't show an appointment EVEN THOUGH I HAD A WRITTEN CONFIRMATION. They told me that they'd called and she'd cancelled the appointment, which is impossible because the phone number they have is my cell number and my cellphone is ALWAYS in my possession. Not only that but there's no way my ward could figure out how to answer my phone EVEN if she'd had the phone in her possession, which is never the case. So they bold faced lied to me. Not only that but everyone I've talked to so far at each location has been, at best, rude. I don't understand how they stay on business. I've waited over a month now between appointments. I've called my doctor twice but I didn't complain hard enough. I called them today and told them I'm not using Sonoran Quest ever again. If they can't find another provider I'll pay for the tests out of my pocket at a commercial place. read more

I walked in, because the sheet I was given for Sonora Quest Labs locations stated this was the nearest location to me. Just needed blood drawn before surgery. Rather than help, the two women who worked there, and were just sitting there, stated I needed to make an appointment, and would need to come back. Seriously I go out of my way to go to this location! They are all super sweet and helpful but Nathan is my go to! I wait just to see him he is absolutely the best I'm terrified of needles and I need routine test for thyroid and he always takes such good care of me. My husband has his monthly labs drawn at this location and the receptionist is so unbelievably rude that it makes him feel like he's done something wrong by having an appointment. She even went as far as to roll her eyes at him when he had the wrong time in his calendar for his appointment. The phlebotomist is so nice that it makes this location bareable read more

If I could get this place a 0 stars I would. I work in the medical field and can tell you that the girl doing the blood draw was incredibly unprofessional and lazy. I had one of my physician send over paperwork to have my blood drawn and took an extra copy of the order that was sent to this location. I spent over 45 minutes because of construction in a traffic jam right next to the facility only to arrive when they had no other patients and plenty of time before they closed. The phlebotomist on site looked at me and said if you don't have an appointment I'm not gonna help you and I said well why can't I set an appointment there is nobody here she said no come back some other day. It look like she didn't even shower or brush her hair to come to work and clearly had no intention on actually helping patients . read more

I'm so confused by the negative reviews for this location! Took my very nervous 7 year old in 2 hours before her appt to see if they could get her in early, they took her right away. Michelle, the phlebotomist, was amazing with my daughter. Made it quick and painless and so fun that my other daughter wants to be a phlebotomist when she grows up now haha! read more

I have always had very good service at the 19th Avenue/Glendale location, but they are closed now. I went to the 32nd Street location in January and they were so kind, helpful and professional. I arrived 3 minutes before closing to pay my bill. The door was licked and they would not open it. The pharmacy went in and gave me the phone number to schedule an appointment. They didn't have the courtesy to ask me what I needed. This is the second day in a row this has happened. The worst service. read more

I asked them to fax my lab tests to my doctor, and instead of just doing it they gave me a number to call for Client Services, but it was the wrong number. When I got transferred to client services they wouldn't do the fax. They said I could do it myself. What a bunch of worthless people. read more

I second the notion from another reviewer. This is a small and convenient location. But how can the be so slow and disorganized? I've been here 30 min waiting just for them to check me in. And in this time between two phlebotomists and a guy at the desk they have only seen one person and not checked a single person in. He said there is no problem with computers down nor other issue.
