I went for blood work on a Saturday at 7:45a. No appointment. I walked in and signed in at a kiosk. The waiting room was full of coughing people and crying babies. According to the electronic monitor/display, I was 21st in line. Great. After a 10 min wait, a rep called me up to collected the doctors orders and my insurance card. Minutes later I was rekaxinf in a chair with a needle in my arm. At 8:07a I was sitting in my truck writing this review. I would totally come here again for any labs. They are quick and efficient. Obviously they can't handle basic scheduling for the number of staff they have. They appear to be grossly understaffed. And also lacking in minimum business sense to set fewer appointments and take them further out so people who don't need them fast can schedule ahead. Duh. Went to this office this morning to do a biometric test. but because it wasn't in the system the girl was hesitating to do it. even thou she gave me a paper that would allowed me to do it at the time she told me to filled it up the next time when i come back. it made me feel like she just did not want to wait for me to fill out the paper. so i left. i already did this test back on August and Sonora Quest lost the blood work. so i had to come back and re do it. and then this happens! Been here a few times with no problems. I like the convenience of everything, especially hours. They open earlier than the other locations near me, so it is convenient to go on any day before I have to work. They do take appointments, but they also take walk ins. I find that they tend to not make appointments earlier than 7am, though, which makes walk ins at 630 fairly easy for me. I'm usually in and out by 7am. Staff in the back is usually friendlier than the front, but I get it. I normally get there right as they open, so some people haven't had their coffee yet. No one is rude, but you can see that they're not too peopley at 630. Honestly, neither am I. Everything here is clean. They're pretty quick in getting results to my doctor. read more

Was in the system with the main office and verified, even had email on my phone. But the local office refuse to look into why its not showing up on their end and waited over hour before they even looked at the records. Most offices would have the verified before even consider seeing patient . Very poor check-in and wait over and hour, to hear them say you are not in the system WTF read more

Staff is mostly friendly at this location. I bring my grandmother here to get her blood work done, due to her office no longer offering lab services on site. We usually arrive as early as possible, due to fact that the waiting room fills up quickly. Our visits typically last 25-75 minutes, depending on the number of people waiting. The location is very central for us and our doctors have never had any issues getting results. Would recommend making appt if possible. read more

The kiosk to check in isn't working , but no one has just put a simple sign on it to let people know . This central location opens up as early as 6:45am and has hours on Saturdays. They are super busy so be sure to schedule an appointment online. No waiting to check in they are one innovated lab as you walk in to check in on a tablet. The front desk staff is quick to call your name and get you in within a decent time of your schedule appointment. I have always had great experiences here and the ease of online appointments then to walk into a smooth process makes it even better. I don't like to get poked and pricked but this Sonora Quest location seems to the whole process painless. read more

Needed to change his diaper and the other front lady took me to the bathroom where they had no changing table!! Horrendous from beginning to end, I had an appointment for 8:00 AM to get lab work done, it was 1 hr and 15 minutes after my appointment time before I was called back, close to 3 people who came in after me went before me. The place itself is dirty, crowded, and noisy. I wonder what is the point of making an appointment when it still takes over an hour to get in? For more than a year I've gone to this lab at least monthly and sometimes more often for blood draws and routine testing. At first I would try to "psych out" a time when I figured few others would also be there - I was almost never right. But, without fail, behind the reception desk sat Ruta Tanai, patience personified. I've never seen her upset, never heard her lose her temper (as many who are waiting do), never found her to be anything but helpful, professional and pleasant. Going to the lab, for whatever reason, is not something most people look forward to but if Ruta Tanai is the one who will take your information and orders and insurance card/s, then things just got a lot better! This is the closest lab place to my house so I usually come here but staff is so bad, it doesn't matter what day or time it is, front desk always got a stank face and no compassion AT ALL. As a health field worker I feel horrible for the pts here. My mom sometimes comes by herself and they be so mean to her for no reason, I be waiting in line sometimes and they be mean to other pts for no reason. For the first time at a health facility I see a picture at the desk that says that hitting any staff is a felony, I bet some pts have gotten so tired of their BS before that they had to put that picture up there. Once again I'm here today and I came a little earlier that my appointment and the lady at the front desk told me she couldnt check me in because they were going to call me as a walk in, then I go and wait in my car, come exactly at my appointment time and now she tells me I have to wait at least 15min?!?!?! sonora quest lab 2001 W Camelback Rd #150, Phoenix, AZ 85015 front desk lady said she could not tell me whether or not they would throw my kidney stone in the trash or not , I went to a different sonora lab location five minutes away and they took the stone and analyzed it no problem passed a kidney stone at home unexpectedly , doc said i was authorized to drop off at any sonora lab for analysis , african american lady at front desk of sonora lab said because i didn't have stone in a sterile container but in zip lock bag from home , that they might throw it in trash , ive turned in a stone like this before without a problem, apparently she believes i was supposed to drive to my doc , get a cup , and put it in the cup . i asked her for a cup and she handed me one , at this point she said they still might throw it in trash I went to a different sonora lab location five minutes away and they took the stone and analyzed it no problem read more

My experience here leads me to believe that this might be one of the better locations for this lab chain. Walked in (without an appt.) and start to finish was about an hour. Staff was friendly and actually helpful. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. I will more than likely use this location again, if needed in the future. read more
