They've gone out of their way to make it a better experience when you came here. Their front staff is quite engaging and very friendly. The staff in back has also gotten much more friendly The only thing I would recommend is that a uniform or scrubs be standard issue for the front staff. One of the girls dresses was so short that things that shouldn't have been seen were seen. It became a topic of conversation in the waiting room, which is never a good thing. The TV was extremely loud and when multiple people asked about it, they just said yeah it's loud in here. I saw this little sign that they charged to use a credit card. I would tend to avoid a business that did this if I was here for a scan that needed done. I think it's an unfair practice. read more

The front desk ladies were delightful and incredibly helpful, so unfortunately, my experience took a very disappointing turn once I met Marcy (I believe that was her name), the MRI technician. After waiting over an hour, I was greeted in a very condescending manner and immediately told that I would need to remove the small piercings in my ears. I calmly explained that I have had these piercings for nearly a decade and that during my previous MRI, I had several more piercings that could not be removed. At that time, the imaging center simply covered them with medical tape, and there were no issues. I also explained that, because of the type of jewelry I have, I am unable to remove them myself. I even attempted to remove them right there to show her that I was genuinely trying to accommodate the request. Instead of working with me to find a solution, she immediately responded that she was "not going to argue with me." She then told me, "I'll wait for you to finish your form and THEN you can pay attention to me." I finished the paperwork, only to be told that I would need to have the piercings removed or replaced, reschedule my appointment, and come back another time. I understand that MRI safety protocols are extremely important, and I have no issue following necessary safety procedures. What I do have an issue with is the way I was treated when I was genuinely trying to find a solution. After already having to reschedule multiple times due to illness, waiting over an hour only to be turned away because the situation could not be handled with any flexibility was incredibly frustrating and felt like a complete waste of my time. I needed this MRI to determine the extent of my injuries, so walking away without getting the imaging I needed was extremely upsetting. Ultimately, I will be moving forward with treatment elsewhere because I do not feel comfortable returning after this experience. The front desk staff were wonderful, but unfortunately, one interaction completely changed my impression of SimonMed. I sincerely hope management addresses how patients are spoken to, especially when they are already dealing with injuries and are doing their best to cooperate. read more

Let me first say that the office staff at the location is wonderful. The issue with Simon Med is horrible operations. They use people in the Philippines or off shore to book your appointment because the website is horrible and the person although nice has no clue what they are booking and books appointments for multiple imaging thinking they are helping you, but they are either not trained to look at the schedule for that site to ensure they aren't overbooking on top of the existing patients. I show up taking off work and they tell me "this happens all the time" the offshore person has no clue and books over existing patients and you get cancelled. And as a patient after I called to schedule the imaging sessions I recieved 6 texts and 4 phone calls and after the first one giving me I information I already knew about my appointment I ignored the next 3. One of those next 3 phone calls was to let me know that the offshore person overbooked my my appointment and I need to reschedule. Simon med has no clue how to give a customer experience that is efficient and helpful. If I was elderly I'm sure it would be much harder with all the confusion Simon meds process causes. And when I asked about rescheduling at the front desk they said I have to come to office to talk to a person and schedule because there is no direct line to their office. Prime example of a business not being customer centric and focusing on their bottom line. read more

I stopped going to this location a few years ago because of a very rude technologist who did my mammogram. I had heard they had had a staff change so I decided to give it another try. I walked in and was greeted immediately with a smile from the front desk staff. So kind and nice. Loved the vibe upon my arrival. And it continued on with my technologist Lisa who was fantastic! She was very kind, empathetic to the procedure and just an all-around very nice person. I felt very comfortable there. Simon med is the worst imaging service that could ever be on the face of this earth Every time something is scheduled, it is wrong My doctor sent in for a CAT scan and they left a message to call him back to schedule it. I called them back to schedule it and they said we don't have an order for that. Well, how did you leave me a message to call you back because you had received an order from my doctor. My husband had a CAT scan scan scheduled for a Friday afternoon on his way there, they called telling the machine was broken and said he needed to reschedule He rescheduled then for the following Monday and went to the location they told him. Sat for 30 or 40 minutes and no one ever opened up the office. It was totally closed. He called and told whoever he talked to what was going on and they said oh well we show it's open so can you drive to this location which was about 40 minutes away and he did. CAT scan was here. We are three days later. They're trying to call him to reschedule the CAT scan. This is the worst customer service business that I have ever dealt with in my life. Every time we schedule with them, this is the type of thing that happens. I will never allow my doctor to tell me I need to go to Simon med for any sort of imaging event after this. It is horrible horrible horrible I give it a -10 as far as star ratings so can't do that so I guess we'll give him a zero read more

Having an appointment means nothing! We gave them all the necessary details regarding appointment and the MRI tech (who obviously doesn't prep for her patients prior to appt) with long black hair is rude and doesn't believe they were informed my husband has a pacemaker! Until they double checked his info and found out they had the info! MRI tech was off the charts with snotty remarks as if this was our error. No MRI! No peace of mind knowing the MRI is complete! No peace this Christmas as this office SCREWED up! We needed this done ASAP and have already waited for this appointment for 3 weeks! Don't waste your time here! Getting the run around now. Being told to call a number that doesn't exist! They didn't even try to help correct the situation. She was the most friendly and helpful person I've encountered in a long time. My dad's doctor had written the X-ray orders incorrectly, so she called and got it all sorted out. Then I called to schedule the test at the closet location and I was told this location did. Thank you also for hollering around another client who was checking in after me to ask me where my MAMMOGRAM results needed to go, to which I had to loudly tell you my doctors name. So much for HIPAA. Never coming back here. Management needs to seriously consider retraining staff on acknowledging their clients and perhaps a HIPAA refresher course, seeing as how one client was leaning across the counter and could clearly see the computer screen with my name on it and now knows my diagnostic procedure and PCP name. read more

I was told by my doctor's office that I could just show up to have an X-ray done, rather than schedule an appointment. I came down to this facility... and stood in line behind 23 other people... eighth or ninth of those standing outside in the broiling sun. After nearly 40 minutes, I decided that I'd rather write-off the wait than risk sun stroke, so I left. I called the number given me to make an appointment, and didn't hear back from them in the next 3 days. I phoned back every business day for the rest of the week to make an appointment, and finally gave up. I drove to the nearest SimonMED facility and asked the if they could do the X-rays required, and was told that they didn't have a technician available that day to do an X-ray. What they did for me, though, was schedule me for an appointment at the SimonMED facility closest to my home (41 miles away). One the appointed day, I showed up 20 minutes early (being told to be 15 minutes early to do the paperwork and to have my insurance checked): I waited in line for 51 minutes, obviously missing my appointment, I called for another appointment, and was chastised for missing the appointment I'd scheduled:I offered to send them a photo I took of the line in front of the checking desk, my cellphone recording the time and date of the photo, proving that I was 35 minutes early, but they didn't have any way to receive the photo. I made another appointment. This time, I arrived almost 40 minutes early... and found a line that extended outside. At 15 minutes before my appointments I called the number for that facility to say that I was waiting in line for my 2:30 appointment, but didn't think I was going to be able to check in before my appointment time: I was told they'd put in a note that I was there for my appointment, and to continue waiting. At 2:46, I checked in and was told I was too late... that I'd have to make another appointment. I explained that I was there IN LINE 40 minutes before my appointment and that I'd called, seeing how slow the line was moving. The receptionist said that there was no record of me having called. In this case, it was two strikes and they were out. I went to Banner Health, had the X-ray done with less than a 10 minute wait. I can sympathize with people waiting all day in Russia for a loaf of bread. I don't know what these people are doing. Neither do they. read more

I was ready to write a very poor review about Simon Med in general, but luckily the service and professionalism I received from the receptionist and MRI tech, redeemed them. First, I need to tell my story. I waited almost two weeks before I received a call back from Simon Med scheduling. My doc sent them the order and I believe they need to get prior authorization from the insurance company before they can schedule. When they called me to schedule, the appointment was made two weeks out. On appointment day, I was phoned and was told that their equipment broke down and to call them ASAP. I did and the line was answered in Spanish. I told her I spoke English. (That was really weird.) I was then scheduled for the first available at the Sun Lakes location, or so I thought. I had a feeling something was off since the scheduler seemed to bumble and fumble her way though the scheduling system. I get a call the VERY NEXT DAY telling me the scheduler had double booked patients for that slot! Are you kidding me? I'm in pain and I need this MRI done before my doc can proceed with treatment. Luckily the receptionist at Sun Lakes was the sweetest and very professional. She apologized profusely and I knew it was not her fault so I couldn't get upset. I got an appointment for two days later. I arrived and checked in and was walked over to the MRI unit. The technician was AH-maz-ing. She was sweet, kind, and actually kind of fun to chat with. She completely turned around my experience and Simon Med should be lucky to have her. Give her a raise! (Simon Med, If you want to know day and time I was there, let me know so you can find her. The WORST experience starting from making the appointment. I made the appointment. I then called to check on something they had my daughters name with everything else address, etc. not matching. The phone call took a good 30 minutes if not more even repeating spelling her name saying the alphabet. She has a typical name on top of it. I then received a text saying I had an appointment in the morning of another text saying see you soon for check-in, etc. get there at 8 AM and inconvenience my husband to take my others to school while also tell my daughter not to eat or drink. Drove 30 minutes. Get there. The rude condescending girl (should have gotten her name) with glasses and chubby told me we did not have an appointment. I then proceeded to show her my phone showing the text. Asked for the manager said there wasn't one on staff. Asked her to ask the ultrasound tech if she could take us said she wasn't there yet...mind you it was a time of the appointment!!!! how is the tech not there? proceed to look for a different appointment said we could come back in a week. I then said you need to ask the tech this isn't making sense. I just did a whole inconvenience to my family to get her here. Went back to ask said nope she can't fit you in. I then asked if the supposed person that has that appointment (we were scheduled for) was there she said yes. Proceeded to call customer service as to what went on. Come to find out it was my husband's name under the appointment. They switched around for his name and put him down. The condescending, rude lack of customer service chubby girl with glasses at the front told me a complete lie that the client was there. what a joke! Stay away. Great experience here. I initially tried making an appt using the SimonMed online tool, but something got screwed up with my initial appt request, and within a few hours I was contacted on the phone by a rep (presumably at some sort of call center) who was wonderful in helping find me two consecutive time slots for the two MRIs I needed. On the day of the appointment, the receptionists were very friendly and professional towards all the patients that I saw come through (4 or 5 of them). I showed up for a 2pm appt at about 1:45pm to fill out paperwork and check my temp, and at about 2:05pm I was taken to a separate MRI facility just across the hall. The MRI technician was *Fantastic*; so pleasant, so helpful... just a great experience. While I was giving her background on my injury, my voice got a little froggy, and she went to get me a cup of water without me even asking! My foot is currently in a boot, and she brought a chair up next to the MRI bed so I could take it off while sitting down and get right up into the MRI machine. Again, just delightful from start to finish. The only possible "downside" - if you can even call it that - is that the Reception area is a bit on the small side; it can probably hold about 6-7 people given the every-other-chair COVID policy. But the SimonMed facility is in a larger medical complex with central seating, so a person waiting for their appt could easily wait just outside the door. read more

My doctor sent an order for two tests to them and it took several days for them to have a record of the tests. I booked an appointment and got a call the day before saying they'd double booked one of the machines and needed to reschedule me which meant I had to change my doctor follow up appointment too since the tests wouldn't be done. I showed up today for my appointment, supposedly the first of the day and there were already 8 people crowded into their small space. They had chairs blocked off, but the open ones were way less than 6 feet apart. Three feet would be more accurate. Their signs said everyone would have their temperature taken and when another person asked about it she was told that their thermometer had no batteries. Seriously? We're in a pandemic. Buy batteries. The guy behind me waiting to check in wasn't wearing a mask and was barely 2 feet away from me. Did any employee say anything to him? Nope. I had to tell him to put a mask on and back up so then I got to listen to him grumble about me as the line moved slowly forward. I finally go back for my first test and the technician says my name is wrong in their system. It was correct when I did their online sign in. She fixes it and send me to the next technician. He says there's no order for any tests in my record, but they were there when I signed in. He went to talk with the front desk staff and somehow found the record, but then my name was wrong again. I have NO idea if I'll actually receive test results since it seems like they weren't looking at my records. This total lack of professionalism is astounding to me. The carelessness with their COVID procedures put everyone at risk. I will not go back to this location for anything and I question whether Simon Imaging should even be open if this is the best they can do. read more

Simon Med fails again. Earlier this year Simon Med scheduled me for a colonoscopy on a Saturday. Saturday morning at 730 AM I got a call saying they didn't have a technician available to complete the colonoscopy. Stopped by their office the next week to reschedule. Found out that they don't do colonoscopies on Saturday. Manager of the office was unapologetic about mixup. Told me if I had a problem call this number. Called the number. Left numerous messages. No response.. Thursday I was scheduled for bone density yeast. 15 minutes before my appointment I got a call from their office. Need to reschedule because tech wasn't available. Guessing their tech decided to enjoy St Pats day. Offered to reschedule. Fortunately I made a backup appointment with Banner Imaging. Goodbye Simon Med. Don't need ya. Now I get a response from Lindsay. The person who wouldn't return my phone calls. Claiming that they are sorry for their performance. 10-1 Lindsay is a robot responder who acts like real person. This is my first review of Simon Med, although it's not the first bad experience I've had with them. My surgeon is requiring pre-op tests that include a chest x-ray, and he told me to go to Simon since his office was tied in with them and he would receive the results electronically and faster from them. I called about an appointment and was told x-rays are walk-in only, and asked what time would be best to arrive for an x-ray. I was told in the afternoon. I arrived at 3:30 and was told, "We're not doing any more x-rays today." I started to explain that I was both told to come in the afternoon AND referred to their website with their hours and was stonewalled by the receptionist. When I asked to see a supervisor I was offered a card and told I could leave a message. My previous bad encounter was for an MRI I had scheduled (and taken the afternoon off from work) and was told when I arrived that they had no record of an appointment, and I would have to come back the following week. I guess it's a matter of "Fool me twice, shame on me." I'll be sending my future business and recommendations to professionals who can adequately run a business. read more

I was scheduled for MRI with contrast in my knee. Came down here and they asked me to sign that I refused orthography because they do not provide it here. Called my doctor and told them I refused! Scheduling departments sucks. People who are scheduling know nothing about own company, who is doing what and where. But front desk at this location should catch it as well, but they did not. I was told to go here to do a kidney ultrasound by my urologist. I made my appointment for 11am and was told check in is at 10:45. I was also told to drink minimum 32oz of water within the hour before my exam so when I arrived I had a "full bladder". Upon arrival at 10:45 I was told they're running behind and I'd be taken around 11:20. I double checked 11:20 because I really did drink a lot of water and was told yes, 11:20. At that point I sat and waited. 11:20 rolled around and I was in literal pain. I was told 10 more minutes. Another 10. Another 10. I was finally taken at 11:50 out of my mind needing to use the restroom and still couldn't because they had to check my bladder. If they were honest about how backed up they were I could have easily used the restroom and refilled my water bottle within the next hour but he just kept acting like it would be soon. It's one thing to be behind that early in the morning, it's another to keep your patients in literal pain because of it. Super disappointed with my overall experience here and wouldn't recommend this office at all. read more

Writing this review on behalf of my dad who was the patient. First of all, the patient lobby is too small to be able to social distance...they should have patients that have checked in wait outside in the entrance lobby of the building. Second, some employees were not wearing a mask! Third, although it seemed fairly busy, wait time as a walk-in for an x-ray was only about ten minutes. Last, my dad stated his x-rays seemed to be taken in a haphazardly manner. He's had chest x-rays prior to this one with Simon Med (different locations) and he felt this technician was a little lackadaisical. Overall, a half-way decent experience with no major complaints or compliments...except my safety concerns to prevent the spread of Covid-19! read more

If I could give a negative star, I would. Scheduled my appt, gave my insurance over the phone. Get w call the day before my appt stating they don't have approval from my insurance company and they don't have any of my insurance So I gave my insurance for the 2nd time and had to reschedule. Showed up at 7:45am for my 8am appt. Was first one there in line. Filed out paperwork. 35 min go by and they don't have approval from my insurance. They call the insurance company to get approval. Finally approved and now been waiting for 1.5 hours without going back to a room. They come out and say their MRI machine is not working. I sat in the lobby waiting room and watched them turn 3 people away that had appts because they did it have anyone to run the equipment for their exam. This was after they started filling out paperwork that was given to them. 6 people in line, one girl checking in and the line was not moving. NEVER GO HERE!!!! Read all the reviews at different locations, they all have a 1 star review except the Gilbert locating which has 3 stars. me and my sister went into the SimonMed imaging office earlier this morning and the two receptionists (one of them being madison) at the front had horrible attitudes from the moment we walked in. for people who work in customer service as well. We can understand what it's like to have a bad day and deal with crappy people, but we were very nice and weren't really sure why they had an attitude the whole time. I tried to go back with my sister to get her screening just because we are close, and thought it would be okay. the little short guy (who i believe to be andrew) who did her imaging was very rude and was looking at me like i was an alien when i walked back there with her. he asked me if my younger sister and I quote "can she uhh speak for herself?" which we just started awkwardly laughing at because, she's a grown women. who most definitely has no problem speaking for herself, we were just a little taken back by the unnecessary comment. he said i would "just have to go take a seat out in the waiting room" which i understand but there was unnecessary drama in how he said it. he proceeded to be very blunt and rude to my sister during her screening for no reason it was just a little unfortunate, considering that this is a medical facility and people shouldn't be treated less than. I'm just saying, that is what it felt like. definitely wouldn't recommend this place if you don't wanna feel stupid when you leave. read more

I just had the worst experience. I was in for 3 MRIs. I showed up on time at 1:30 but still wasn't seen until 2:45. I was supposed to get contrast but they just took it upon themselves to skip that part because I didn't need it. The nurse wanted me to hold my hands above my head for an hour and thirty minutes straight no movements every time I moved they would come in and tell me not to move. I held it as long as I could (about 45 minutes) and I squeezed the ball to take a break. The nurse told that I could not take breaks, but that I could reschedule. So, I decided to stop because my arms are big and it was hurting. I asked for her name and she actually told me F you. read more

Website says that x-rays are walk in only from 8:30-4:30. Arrived at 4:10 and was refused and told they don't accept walk ins after 4:00 pm. Receptionist rudely said she knows what the website says, but they don't do that. Tried calling for clarification, put on hold, hung up on. Called again and after nearly 30 minutes of being put on hold, was told they called the location who said they don't accept patients after 2:30. I don't even know how any of that can make sense. Impossible to get an X-ray if hours are not correctly and clearly stated. read more
