By this conversation you know this is a laundry family, the place to be if you need a laundromat. There is a guy here that is probably somebody's grandpa (does he have butterscotch in his pocket?) that was the attendant. He mopped up quickly, he told me it was going to take no less than 30 minutes of drying on low (very true). He was running the place efficiently. It was clean, 90% operable and in a good neighborhood. Although small and they don't take credit cards I will come back if my "Honey Do List" takes me worldwide and back to DC.

I put in money into a drying machine that was not labeled as dysfunctional and the machine took my money. I reported this to the staff and asked for a refund. She refused to give me one, saying that the machine wasn't giving her a sign that any money had been entered. Then she asked me to put in more of my money into the dubious machine in front of her so that she could watch. I refused and dismissed her, because I didn't see why I had to take any more gambles with my money. I will never be going there again.

Dryers are $0.25 for 8 minutes! Laundry service is $0.85 per pound. Single-use laundry products are $0.75, as are cans of Coke and bottled water. There is a bathroom but it doesn't lock. One small sink, but no big laundry sink. Lots of tables, but only three benches and not enough carts. Two change machines. A few TVs on different channels. No WiFi, but you may be able to pick up the signal from the McDonald's two doors down. You may see a shouting match or two, which may be just as entertaining.

This laundromat is located in a small strip mall and shares a small private lot with the other…read morebusinesses. It is kind of an older laundromat. However, the machines are in good repair. You will also find a few folding tables here. I will admit that the place is a bit disorganized, but nothing horrible. The laundromat has a television playing while you do your laundry, and there are a few chairs at the front for you to sit in. The washers range from $3 to $6, depending on the size you choose. Dryers are a quarter for every 6 minutes. They have a change machine that accepts $1, $5, and $20s and an ATM. Everyone in there was very friendly, and they offer wash, dry, and fold services, billed per pound. I had a load to do and I was in and out. It was very simple. I would definitely do my laundry here again. Just note that you must have your laundry started by 2 PM, so please plan accordingly.

On the right is the store and on the left is their machines so you know they dry clean in house v. sending it away. The staff is very friendly and the prices the same compared to other local dry cleaners. They also have you sign a waiver when they have to do risky cleaning which makes it feel more honest.
