It cost about 40 bucks for the pants to be altered and my suit jacket to be pressed. I recently went back to have my custom dress shirt cleaned and she did a great job once again. I was mostly very pleased with Well's until they kept my brand new seersucker suit and never called me back to do the tailor-fitting. The day I dropped it off they said they didn't have time - it was very very busy so they would call me back to schedule. Well, I got caught up in my move to DC and working f/t as a teacher that I forgot for almost 2 years I dropped it off. So I guess that means whatever tag or note they put on it with my number must've gotten knocked off and nobody could remember which customer left it. After I had finally unpacked my summer wardrobe and realized it wasn't there then went through everything else I had put into storage thinking I had misplaced it. It was a year later that I finally realized I had left it there and never heard back. (no, I didn't change my phone number and a regularly check my missed calls and voicemails). I wonder if they ever put my suit in a window display like some tailor-cleaners do for left behind items. read more

Was excited to learn of a black-owned dry cleaners and had been meaning to check them out for the better part of a year. So I finally took a small load in for cleaning a few months back. I found the experience to be average. Service was efficient, but not necessarily the friendliest. The cleaning itself was just "ok," and I felt that my two pairs of jeans (1 black, 1 gray) were noticeably lighter in color and tighter in fit than when I dropped them off. All in all, this was just an "OK" first experience. I'm willing to give them one more try to see if maybe my first visit was just a fluke. But as for now, my hunt for a new dry cleaner's continues. read more

Friendly staff and convenient location for me, so I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, they are not as skilled at the actual cleaning bit. I may keep going to them for the basic maintenance cleaning since they are so close, but I'm going to make the longer drive back over to French's for anything that is actually dirty, or that I need more care taken with. read more

I went there to get some suits dry cleaned and tailored. When I first showed up to get my suits I came to find that they were not pressed properly, so I had to leave them there and come back a second time. When I got there the second time I found that one was still not pressed properly, requiring me to leave it there and come back yet again. I would've hoped for some quality control from the start, but especially after the first screw-up. After they fixed the suit the second time I had further issues trying to pick up the suits. They told me it would be ready by a certain date, but I would show and it either wouldn't be ready or wouldn't be on-site. After that occurring 3 times (each time without them so much as calling me to tell me they didn't have it), they offered to come to me with the suit. Then there were 2 no shows on the day and time we agreed upon and I ended up going to them a 4th time, where I finally managed to get my suit. The staff was very nice, but it was expensive and my experience was bad so I do not plan on going back. read more
