Just had a great one hour, full body massage with Stewart. He was very smiley and kind... And he had amazing pressure! At some points, it was a little bit too much... But that's because I am extremely sore from moving. I actually always struggle to find people with enough pressure, so this was so so good! I'm gonna be honest, it was my first time trying a massage like this... You're just in one big room, with a number of beds out in the open. They do keep the lights on the dimmer side so it's a little more relaxing... And they have nice music playing. The massage was so good, I actually forgot that I was in a room with other people. For those of you, who haven't tried this, I would highly recommend coming in. You can make a same-day appointment very easily, which is nice! Also, I would recommend wearing comfortable clothing and minimal makeup- as you stay, fully dressed (minus your shoes) and they include a scalp and small face massage too. read more

I was on my lunch break and needed to run an errand in the mall. I had walked by Soothing Massage and noticed a guy standing in the entrance like he was wanting customers (mental note). So on my way out i looked over to see if he was still there and wanted to see what they charged, saw they had a 20 minute option, but before i could stop an older gentleman came out and said something in Chinese (didn't understand unfortunately) but he felt my shoulders and neck and i told him "oh ya your going to feel tension there". I figured i could do the 20 minutes and he repeated it to me and had me get on the table. It was a very good deep tissue massage and he really did do a good job. At some point he said "10 minutes, 30 minutes" and i knew that i was going over what i had originally asked for, but it felt good so i figured i could spare the extra 10 minutes. But then he wanted me to get on my back and i had to tell him that i needed to get back to work haha Overall it was a good massage but i would have preferred he stick to the 20 minutes i had originally asked for (the only reason i did 4 stars instead of 5). I had really stiff shoulders from lifting heavy items and scraping ice off my driveway I came here because they're cheap and I had seen good reviews online they are still cheap the prices have changed I took the $35 chair massage for 30 minutes and from the get go it's deep tissue massage they really got in there and broke the knots I more than likely had apart its intense though I didn't mention anything since I knew I could endure it and it would feel better later for it but I'm sure you can tell them not to go as hard I was so focused on my muscles being worked layer by layer and breathing through the pleasant pain of a firm deep tissue massage that I almost forgot that they are located in a mall I didn't mind but if you cant drown out noises it is located next to a little kid play area and you may or may not hear little kids playing in the background read more

I just moved to Idaho and need to fine a new massage therapist. I set an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage on Friday (1/27/2023) it was my first time at Soothing Massage. I will admit when I got there it was not what I was expecting. But I really needed a deep tissue massage. Living with trigeminal neuralgia I have found that a deep tissue massage helps to break up the fascia along my shoulders, neck and back. Giving relieved to my head and face. Although I was skeptical I when in with an open mind and a lot of hope. I was pleasantly surprised. I feel bad that I did not ask the gentleman his name so that I can post it. Thos place was amazing. The people really didn't speak English, but they do know how to give massages. The pricess are very reasonable too I think. I got the 30 minute full body massage. At first, they show you to where the message will happen. I don't know if it is standard for them to focus on the back, or what, but the guy did just that. It really appreciated it because I have a tight back. They had soothing music playing in the back ground. It was rough, and a little painful, but very much worth it. When they said full body, they do mean full body. Head to toe, litterally, at least the back side. Near the end, the guy put some lotion on my traps, then the standard "chop" motion. After the massage, they offer you a tiny cup of water. Very nice. I have no idea what the typical message entails, or what is protocol, but I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a massage, or even relaxation. read more

Jack was my masseuse. 5/5 stars, solid pressure, worked hard, most important I was satisfied and totally relaxed with the massage. I hour full body massage for $50- $60, very reasonable price. Worth my time and most likely yours as well. I used go to elements massage but I am making switch here instead from now on. I was craving a massage on a recent trip to Idaho Falls, and was very happy to find Soothing Massage while walking around the mall. My 30 min foot massage was blissful and seemed to last a lot longer than 30 minutes (I'm sure my masseur was keeping an eye on the time, but it was just THAT relaxing). They seemed very focused on cleanliness (first wiped my feet with a bleach soaked towel, and wore gloves during the massage), which impressed me for a mall based operation.
