I bought a 60 min Swedish Massage on Groupon on 5/26/13 & was looking to use it right away, due to sport related sore muscles. I called that same day (Sunday) & left a message on her machine, hoping for a call back on Tuesday (Monday was a Holiday). I hadn't received a call back by Thursday so I went ahead and cancelled my Groupon & signed up for another Massage deal (which I bought and redeemed the same day!). So today (6/3/13), having long forgotten about Soothing Touch, I received a call from a woman. She was mumbling into the phone, and seemed extremely grumpy. I asked her twice 'who is this?!' She seemed appalled that I could not remember the call I made over a week ago. Being a busy person, once I remembered the Groupon I had ditched, I apologized & stated that I had cancelled the Groupon after having not heard back. I am SO glad the other person left a review. I thought maybe it was just me. I too left several messages for this person to schedule and appointment. IF she called back, it took SEVERAL days and I was never able to schedule an appointment. I too finally contacted Groupon and filed a complaint and demanded a credit to my account. They offered to contact her directly on my behalf, which I declined. I don't want a crappy massage because THEY had to call her for me. My husband WAS able to get ahold of this person (he works from home and can answer his phone 24/7). I had bought one for him as a gift, when he went he said the massage was good but she badmouthed Groupon and the people who use them saying only a small percentage will bother coming back. I bought a groupon for my boyfriend. After many attempts in calling this person he finally got through. He went to his appointment at 11:30. She said to him you were supposed to be here at 11:00. He said no I know it was 11:30 as I had an appointment at 10:00 and knew I wasn't going to make an 11:00 am massage. She was extremely rude to him and told him he had two choices. He could either reschedule or forfeit his gift certificate altogether. He said she seemed to willing to have him forfeit the gift certificate so he told her he would make another appointment. She stated it would have to be for next month. He wanted to tell her to shove her groupon but just felt that that's what she wanted him to do so he re booked. He's better than me, I would have laid into her and never went back. Now he's wondering if he's going to get a horrible massage because of her horrible attitude. read more

My husband bought a Groupon for me as a gift since I have a stressful job. After calling this merchant several times, and not receiving a call back, I lodged a complaint with Groupon. Several days later, a day before the Groupon expired, I received an abrupt message returning my call. I tried to call her back two times. The first I left a message without reply, the second her phone was off. This merchant is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want a stressful time making an appointment, and someone who doesn't honor the deals she makes...go to her. Otherwise, find a real professional who knows how to run a business. read more

I had a hard time reaching someone at the number listed and left several messages. When I finally did get a call back to schedule, they did not have anything open before the expiration date on the groupon. I stated that I had been trying to reach someone for quite some time and that the expiration date was not my problem. This person told me that since I called prior to the expiration that she would schedule after that date and would honor the groupon. The massage was ok, nothing special. I felt like she was trying to sell herself to me the whole time (not very relaxing). She stated several times that when you find a good massage you should stick with the person/place. Plus, after filling out paperwork and questions about what areas she should concentrate on, the massage really only lasted about 40 minutes. I will not return and will not recommend. read more

I purchased a groupon for Soothing Touch and was very upset about not receiving a phone call back in an appropriate amount of time. By the time I did, my groupon was already expired and I had gotten my money back from Groupon already. Several times that i did call the mailbox was full and I couldnt even leave a message. This is so unprofessional, and I hope other people view this before going there and supporting such an unprofessional business. read more
