I explained to her that I got it from the rack and instead of going to check and see or ask somebody else she just stared at me. So I told her to take it off then. If people don't like helping other people they really shouldn't work in customer service jobs.

Most of the clothes and accessories for females seemed targeted toward young people, but I'm glad I stopped in and checked out all of their cute loot. I stopped into the Garage at Great Mall looking for a jersey and ended up finding a matching set…read morethat I really liked. Unfortunately, the customer service completely overshadowed the shopping experience. I asked the manager if she could hold two items for about an hour while I looked around the mall, and she immediately said they don't hold merchandise. Just a few minutes later, another customer walked in, and I watched the same manager hand her a pair of shorts that had clearly been put on hold. That inconsistency was frustrating. I came back and purchased the full set (around $100), but then I was told I had to provide my personal information to complete the purchase. I've shopped at plenty of clothing stores and have never felt pressured to share my information just to buy an outfit. It made the checkout experience uncomfortable. The store itself is cute, and I liked the clothes enough to make the purchase, but the overall attitude from the staff came across as unwelcoming and cliquey. It was disappointing because good customer service goes a long way. I hope management works on providing a more consistent and friendly experience for all customers.
