Came to grab a bite with my little one my teen daughter and her friend. We came a little after lunch time so it wasn't busy. Our service was okay. Took a bit to be sat down and to grab our order. The food took a while to come out- I did see a server take our food to another table and then put it back on the counter. I tried grabbing someone to ask about our food - then we finally got our food. Service could have been better. I wouldn't return again.

Very clean and bright small restaurant very well equipped for quick order and take out. Professional and friendly staff. I came in rather than delivery to avoid sogginess. I decided to take pictures of the dishes before they bagged it up. I ordered the Tropical Tuna Tartare and the wonton soup for my scratchy throat. it came out pretty and FRESH! I highly recommend Sora Sushi! I will define back to try other dishes while I'm in the area.

The staff at Sora Sushi is amazing! The restaurant is super clean and bright. The sushi roll BOGOs are delicious and an unbeatable value; try the Sponge Bob and Green Monster. The appetizers including the crispy chicken and fried calamari are absolute tops in the game. The other entrees are also very good. Sora is on our regular dinner out rotation. I recommend it highly.

Overall: I only ordered ramen here but I can say it wasn't good. The ramen broth was shockingly weak, and the ingredients used in the ramen didn't taste right or fresh. Food: The ramen broth is super weak and doesn't taste remotely near what you order. The tonkatsu broth tasted like a light sodium chicken broth that was watered down. The other ingredients in the bowl didn't help either, pretty much everything inside was sub-par if not a complete miss. Service: The service is normal for a sit down place. Average wait time for food and a waiter that comes by to check up on you every once in awhile. Ambiance: The interior is nice and has plenty of seating.

Their soft opening was today, and we were excited to try it for dinner. They have a great location near the Apex Wal-Mart, and there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is small, clean, and bright, and they have a sushi bar, in addition to the tables and booths. It looks like outdoor seating is coming soon. Almost half of their extensive menu is sushi (they offer a BOGO), but we went for the seafood ramen and the spicy garlic chicken. My ramen was loaded with seafood, including scallops and shrimp tempura. The broth was unusual (to me), and seemed heavy on the soy sauce. It worked with the ramen, though, and I very much enjoyed it. My friend loved his spicy garlic chicken, from the Chinese section of the menu, and he said it had a nice kick to it. Kevin, our server, did a fantastic job! Our water glasses were never empty, and he checked on us frequently, too. He told us they had been very busy on their first day. I hope that's a good sign for them!

5 star review! My daughter picked this place for her birthday lunch. Appetizers, sushi rolls, drinks, service are so good! Yes they boxed and bagged the left overs! Waitress Jenny was very attentive. We will definitely come back!

The restaurant is really nice and clean, with a chic feel to it. We were greeted and seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was quick & kind as she did have a few other tables. The wontons came out first and were so good. You could tell they were made right there and weren't bought frozen, so I'd recommend them, 8/10. The Ramen was just okay (maybe a 6/10). It wasn't what I was hoping for..it really needed that deep, authentic broth flavor. The sushi was tasted fresh &, and the best part is they have buy one, get one free, which I always love at a sushi spot. The pieces held together perfectly. There's very few sushi restaurants that stay open that doesn't close mid-day (11-9:30pm weekdays/10:30pm) on weekends) so extra points that that.

Apex has a gem! I was able to try Sora ahead of their grand opening and I was blown away! I'm not a sushi person but I can't deny good food. I was able to try their dynamite roll, chicken curry ramen, Mongolian beef, edamame, and Thai tea. Everything was amazing and not too spicy, even when indicated. The staff was super friendly and it's a really nice space. Theg serve sushi, ramen, traditional Chinese dishes, and pastas (lo mein). They have bogo sushi everyday and everything is made fresh in house: the sushi, the broth, and the sauces. And they have a drive thru for pick up orders! Plenty of parking in the new shopping area.

Literally zero broth which was actually a blessing as it turned out to be straight up boiled water only
    Kira C.

Without question the worst ramen I've ever had in my life. The ramen broth came in a half quart barely half full. A side sauce of broth essentially. It tasted 100% like straight up boiled water. There was literally NO flavor in it to the point it was almost impressive. The canned corn by far had the most flavor which is wildddd. There are SO many better options in the area. Hard pass on this place.

Best ramen in the area…read more We are from Southern California and we finally found a quality tonkatsu. This pork broth is one of the longer broths to make and you can tell they did it right. Great service, quick and happy to serve! They do not skimp on amount of food either. The price you pay here is great compared to west coast. Lots of thick pork, charred, and lots of noodles and toppings. High quality blended chili oil was also a surprise. We'll be back! I ordered Spicy #2 but I think a great order is to try the tonkatsu regular and the spicy #3, order the side of chili oil! Thanks team! Very good job

The flavors here are rich and comforting, especially when it's cold outside. My go-to orders are the Spicy Tan Tan and the Tonkotsu, both of which are packed with flavor and always hit the spot. The broth is satisfying, the noodles are well-cooked, and it's exactly the kind of meal you crave on a chilly day. This would have been a five-star review for me in the past, but I've knocked it down slightly because the prices have been creeping up. It's starting to feel a bit steep for what used to be an easy, go-to lunch spot, even though the quality is still there. That said, the food itself remains excellent, and I'll absolutely continue coming back, just a little less often for lunch than I used to. Food comes very quickly but very limited seating so keep that in mind if going during peak dining hours. Still a top-tier ramen option in Raleigh.

I did not care for sushi because I was there for Ramen. Besides, they have a vegetarian Ramen is what I was looking for, my daughter ordered a teriyaki Ramen. My vegetarian Ramen had a lot of tempura in it, which defeated the purpose a little bit for me because it was a little oily. The taste was more or less like a red curry and there was very less vegetables mostly it was sweet corn and one or two bok choy on the other hand my teen, who is very hard to please loved the teriyaki Raman and is already planning to go back this weekend to try the other ones , all in all I gave this place a four star because the umami of the Ramen was very comforting, even though I did not like the taste much

So spirits were high right from the start. For the record, I've been here a handful of times before, usually for lunch, but this was my first dinner visit. Parking was easy and plentiful, and even though the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right away. Always a nice win. We kicked things off with a bowl of edamame that was perfectly salted. The boys went with miso soup, which was flavorful but came out lava hot. Like, ice-cube-required hot. Tasty, but proceed with caution if you have kids. For sushi, we kept it simple and solid with a mix of one classic and two specialty rolls: Spicy Tuna, Phoenix, and the Crunchy Roll. All were fresh, well-made, and hit the spot. Food came out quickly, service was friendly and attentive, and the overall value felt right. Since we live nearby, this will definitely stay in our regular rotation. A great, easy dinner spot for sushi with family.

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.

I ordered the Myra Fried Rice, which at $24 was kind of steep. I noticed lots of typos on the menu (Fried was written as Fied multiple times), so that's something that management should probably fix. Anyway, my wife got the Thai Beef Salad, which was a more palatable $15. The food arrived soon afterwards, and it was... OK. The rice had a nice texture to it but the chicken was super anemic - it looked like it had been boiled or something. The beef was decent, though. My wife really loved her salad, and I enjoyed the flavor of that way more than my own dish. To adjust the spice on my dish, the server brought over chili flakes like you'd get at a pizza joint (but in a nicer looking vessel). They did spice up my meal but I guess it struck me as a little strange. The portion size was decent but I ate most of it in one sitting. Overall, I wouldn't say it was a terrible experience, but I'm not sure I would come back for $24 fried rice with bland chicken.

I had already looked at the menu online and knew what I wanted: shoyu ramen. The order was served with a spoon, a side plate and a paper towel. There was 1 soft-boiled cut into two halves and ample amounts of scallion, menma and braised pork belly. The latter had a rich flavor, helped in no small part by the pork and chicken broth. Not only that, the broth complimented the rest of the ingredients; the egg was enjoyable. My only (minor) complaint is the portion size of the ramen itself. It was smaller than I would like. The lady that served me was probably (best guess) the owner. Her service was impeccable. In addition, Kinoko has a pleasing amenity not found in most restaurants: an AC outlet at every table that was by the wall. This was very handy for a heavy user of laptops and phones like myself. Although there was music playing in the background, it wasn't loud. The server and I were able to hear each other, and I could also hear the voices of others at the bar. The restroom had an interesting decor of newspapers for wallpaper. That was something I didn't see elsewhere. If you love good ramen, come to Kinoko Ramen. If you like a quiet place to dine in, come to Kinoko Ramen. Perfect scores in food, service and atmosphere.

It wasn't crowded, but it was doing a lot of takeout for a ramen spot (generally a food best enjoyed fresh). The mala ramen (a mix of spicy and tingly sensations) that I sought delivered on the premise. It was a fascinating flavor mix, with some harsh notes that would be a discovery for those that haven't had mala before working well because of the balance of salty and savory flavors and some nice greens and sweet corn. It was unique and I enjoyed it. They had some appetizers and things that I wasn't hungry enough for, but I did wash it down with tea. It was a very reasonable price given how the hipster ramen market has gone. And they had enough menu options that returning would be worthwhile. I ended up going to the other local ramen place anyway the next day, and I would say that both were really good. You can't go wrong.
