Former regulars here. We went last night for pasta night, having made a reservation for 4, 7:00pm. My oldest child had a headache, so wanted us to bring her takeout. Our now party of 3 met the hostess/owner/waitress at the door, and my husband gave our name and said we were 3 instead of 4. Her response was quite off-putting and rude, "Next time call and let me know". Now, at this point there was no smile or warm greeting, just "Do you have a reservation?" We eat out a lot, and a big reason we stopped coming here is this woman. She should not work the front of the house or be the face of the restaurant, as her demeanor is often harsh, and she runs hot and cold. On a Sunday morning (the two other local breakfast places were closed due to a water main break), we walked in to chaos. However, despite how busy and hectic it was when we first walked in, the staff was extremely friendly. Once we were seated, we were quickly given our coffees (delicious!) and had our orders taken. We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday. You should call ahead because the place fills up quick and rightly so. The 5 dollar sunday special of the pasta dish which consists of 1/2 lb of your choice of pasta and any combination of their homemade sauces is plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. Ate here with my husband. We called ahead to make a reservation. The place is eclectic for sure, with a very relaxing, yet elegant atmosphere. Service was friendly and the food, of which the portions are HUGE, was delish. We will go back in a heartbeat, especially on the pasta night because you can't beat the deal for such a good meal. We didn't know, however, that the meat would come in the sauce already, so if you have a pasta sauce that doesn't go with red sauce just be prepared for that. This is a really great, eclectic place. There is a wide variety of tasty offerings on their menu, which is a welcome change in NEPA! The owner & staff were extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Great breakfast! Love the vodka sauce! Clam sauce is terrible. Only eat the vodka sauce from the restaurant. The jarred vodka sauce that is now being sold at grocery stores/Amazon is the worst. Everyone I know loves this place, EXCEPT me. All of the plates are chipped. I'm disgusted by communal flatware that who knows who touched it. Everything looks thrown together from a yard sale. Their Alfredo sauce and vodka sauce are not good. Their syrup containers have a plug that goes in the top that rests on the table while you are using it, so whatever it picks up goes back in the bottle. Yes the menu is a little limited ( a little heavy on the standard of burgers and fries), and could easily add a few more adventurous choices given the vibe and quality of the food and preparation. Highly recommend the Soriano Omelet with hot sausage, lunch specials are all delicious steak and cheese is huge, and Flavor (appetizer night) and Pasta nights are fabulous! Always packed on the weekends for breakfast, by far the best in town! Pasta night they serve half lb or full lb of pasta and you can choose your sauce! Homemade fettuccini with vodka sauce is great! They tell you to show up 10 mins before your reservation, or you will lose your table. So then you come 10 mins early and if you are their first reservations for 4 when they open, they keep the door locked and make you wait out in the cold. One star ONLY because the food is good. Customer service a ZERO. Upon arriving we were told by the owner that since one person in our party was not there yet we could not be seated and that they would only hold our table for 10 minutes. Once we were seated a waitress informed us that we had to be finished within one hour and 15 minutes because our table was booked for the next reservation. Once our bill was paid another waitress came over and told us that we had to leave. My friend jokingly said 'oh so you're kicking us out?' She answered 'yes' and walked away. My husband, sister and her boyfriend came her one Saturday after a good night of drinking. So, you now we wanted something good and big! We have heard good things about this place and wanted to try it. We walked in and it was super boho chic, cute. There was a good amount of people in there. We sat at the table right in front of the door. The menu was fairly large. Everything from eggs to like 7 kinds of stuffed french toast. Server came over pretty fast and we told her we needed a minute. Se came back in a few and took our order. I got some sort of mexican omlet. I forget what it was called. It was awesome! it was filled with ham, cheese, onions and mushrooms. It was really stuffed!! Huge!! They gave you this pretty good salsa to put on top. Definitely not from a bottle. My husband just got a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sammich. They make their own sausage!!! My husband said it was awesome. He is pretty much a connoisseur of meat, particularly kilbasi and sausage, so he knows good sausage when he eats it! As fas as the my sis and her bf, they got omelets also. Whatever the omelets are filled with, boy do the fill them up. The omelets are huge! They also come with breakfast potatoes and toast. The only thing i thought was strange is that a cup of coffee is 3.00. Hmmm.....i guess that makes up for all the food they give you. Hey, they gotta make money somewhere.
