I've been storing here for about 3-4 years now. You really can't go wrong. I had stored with 2 previous storage companies (1 year each) before landing on Sorrento Mesa Self Storage. With the first-year price-lock guarantee, and their nominal increases there after, you have every reason to continue storing here. The reason I left my other facilities is because a small $59 unit turned into $109 within the first year. Sorrento Mesa doesn't operate that way, and you can tell by how booked-up their units are, and by how long customers have been account holders with them. And they're still being absurd! once again...Received my October bill - the area manager, Melissa (no last name!), called to try to convince me they had everything all squared away & she'd give me a $100 credit for the aggravation... Have never seen the $100 credited to my acct so I called the office as I needed to pay my rent (trying to avoid a legitimate past due fee!). Jazmin informed me, "there is nothing in the notes on your account about that!" GREAT! I guess she did make a call to Melissa as she called back to say amount due was $110 but the receipt she gave me DOES NOT show there was $100 credited to the acct so I expect my Nov bill will show a past due amount if $100 & include late fees once again! WTF is wrong with their accounting system??? There's something going on that needs to be investigated as you don't randomly add the amount if my payment (rather than subtracting a payment) unless someone is "playing around" with the books... I attacked the receipt; Credited the check I gave them BUT the $100 credit the manager said she would add to the account has never shown up! I think she was saying I'd get that if I changed my review to say everything was resolved!?!? Sorry! It'll take more than that to buy a good review! read more

I was already here in CA They were exceptionally helpful and were able to get us all squared away with the size of unit he wanted. The space is very nice - accommodating the 26 Ft truck contents without an issue. No appliances but lots of regular boxes, three beds, and a ton of book boxes. Cost was reasonable for the area and everything is behind a great which gave him peace of mind. Would highly recommend! PS we get along fine.
