I don't know WHAT is going on but it's the second time this week (12/11) where someone has broken into this place and their klaxon alarm blares for HOURS going "waa. waa. waa. waa. waa. waa. waa... something something the authorities have been alerted." on and on and on for hours. It's been hours. Both times. If you want your stuff to be safe here? Idunno what to tell you. I live across the street and see their attention to care and security. I have found it severely lacking and especially annoying at the late hours of the night as I try to go to sleep and hear it through my window. No amount of cleanliness can compare to your stuff just being stolen. I'll revisit this post or delete it once the situation is resolved or their security actually enforced. read more

*Editing my review* I utilized this storage space for two different units for several months and had no issues! The storage is clean, the property is well-kept, and the pricing is fair. However, the hours for this place are absolutely TERRIBLE. I found it very inconvenient on multiple occasions to access my items, due to very limited hours. This is the main reason I would never use this place again, over a 24-hour place. They often close early for random company events or the office is closed at 4pm for "lunch." I did not find the staff or manager Chris very friendly, and this impacted my overall experience. read more

Not dissing YOUR business personally, I said it was a waste of money to keep 'junk' in storage units, in my opinion, because it is not cost effective or ideal for anyone. 2. I give reviews based on my personal opinion. That is what a Yelper has taken an oath to do. Again, it is merely my own perception based on the times I visited my unit. 3. I was asked to write a Yelp review for you. If you read what your Yelp duty as a business owner is, you will see that it is against the Yelp TOS to ask customers to write a review. As you can see, I waited some time before writing my review, to get a real feel for your place. 4. As some of your reviewers have stated, your employees have gone above and beyond to help them. I have not found that. I am a disabled woman who has no man to do heavy lifting for me. When we checked in, your employee erroneously allowed my mover to enter my unit without me present and place everything in such a way I cannot even move anything, or find items that are crucial to complete my unpacking. I inquired if your office employees could lend me a hand and was told "No". Now I have to pay someone to help me because your employees let my movers in without my supervision. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The check in process took a lot longer than I expected. The people who work here are friendly enough. The storage areas could be kept a little cleaner. It's gated where you need a code to get in, yet anyone can jump the surrounding fences. Don't let them add another $10/month for theft protection if you carry homeowners insurance. (Check your policy to make sure you're covered on your own homeowners insurance.) For Mira Mesa, it's in the better part of town. It's a storage facility. No one should have to have a storage unit; it's a waste of money and a money-grab. Why am I holding on to all that junk in storage? Because let's face it, that's what it is. I'm in the process of selling everything in there because I haven't had to have storage in many, many years. There is a small parking lot in front where we have parked. The area is never full with cars. There is a iron bench that seats about two people. There are boxes that is an advertisement outside. The back wall has packaging materials. The prices here are super expensive. I would go elsewhere. ~~~~~~~~ The office is nice inside that has a coffee machine and coffee pods that sits on the table. The bottled water is inside the fridge between the two chairs. I was moving into an apartment during Christmas. It was decked out during our departure. ~~~~~~~~~ Then we were on the move again to another state and we were approved to sell some things from our unit. I agreed that we should auction off the rest. There was a time we went back to retrieve other belongings that we had shipped to us. The turkey roaster I purchased might have been stolen during one of the moves. ~~~ read more
