I was 214 pounds (I'm 5'2) and got winded chasing my son around the living room. I went straight to the RED/GREEN series and am now down to 198 along with eating better. And I can keep up with my running toddler! It was quite a challenge at first and while I still modify some of the poses, I leave having done a great workout! If you're new to hot yoga, I highly recommend starting with Alex Roberts or Kya Warren so you learn the modifications. They are great at going through the levels of each pose. For a high intensity workout, I recommend taking Danny or Bella! I always leave feeling so pumped and having done a great workout. My schedule is limited so I just take who is teaching during my availability but some other great instructors I've taken are: Evan, Danielle, and Katelin.

After every class, the instructor cleans the room floors for the next class to enjoy, which I really liked. I would recommend to try all the different instructors to find your fit. I love instructors that walk around the class, and focus on people's form to help them get better. The only thing that was off for me was, if an instructor substitutes for another instructor, I recommend to please not talk badly about the class you are currently teaching/substituting for. It may not be your level, but the students are in there for a reason. It put a sour mindset for me with that one instructor, and would probably never take that person's class ever again. The lack of professionalism deterred this review from 5 stars. Other than that one instructor, I really did enjoy this hot yoga location. Thank you Purple Yoga.

She cued agency, which I really appreciated. It also felt like she picked up on the emotional energy in the room and met the class there, instead of reacting to it. She wove in small moments of education around posture and form, which were really nice reminders. That combination of attunement and strong asana teaching feels really special. I would not and do not expect this every single class... as that's a lot to ask from any human being... but the class she taught last week truly embodied all of this.

Many studios change and start doing other things but this studio always had a class that stayed true to the original Bikram. Even if it has some different new classes, as long as it keeps having the 26 postures from the old days, I will continue to go! There's nothing like it! The way you feel after is like no other feeling in the world! Kayan has sold the biz and as an amazing teacher but I'm sure the new owner will have the same enthusiasm and commitment as she did. If you've never tried it I highly recommend doing the 26 postures. It will change your life.

Just took an intro Pilates class here this morning with Aaliyah and loved it! If you're new to…read morereformer Pilates or want a class that's more focused on form and stretch, this is for you. They do fill up the entire class so the instructor isn't demonstrating how to do the moves, but she does walk around and correct form/help you transition. I appreciated this class was so much more focused on making sure you nail the basics because too many trendy studios try to "push" students do harder moves than their core is ready for. I already weight lift so I like Pilates to help me recover and practice good form (especially because I'm prone to not engage my core enough when I lift!). I'm sure their non beginner class is more challenging, but this was a perfect, restorative Saturday morning work out. I also liked the intro course because there were students from all age groups and no pretentious vibe that I've had at other studios where students judge if you're in aesthetic clothes or not (people ranged from cute fits to comfy gym clothes so you can totally do both here). Looking forward to coming back whenever I need a good recovery stretch and to perfect my core strength!

It really engages the whole body and working one muscle group. For Reformer: bring grip socks or else you'll have to buy it from the studio. I also took a yoga class. You can grab 2 yoga mats to make it more cushioned. The class itself was ok, I'm new to yoga so some of the exercises were hard esp holding the position with your abs. For Yoga: don't need to bring anything . They provide yoga mats What kept bothering me was the amount of ants on the ground near where I was. It was super bothersome. I couldn't even concentrate on the class. Even though I killed some ants, there were still more crawling on my mat and around my area. I told the instructor who said she'll let the owner know. I hope the owner cleans the studio. Parking is around the building and free parking. The location of the entrance of the building is on the street side so you'll have to walk to the street side to enter the place.

I've tried bigger chain yoga studios and large classes. I never knew if I was doing anything correct or making progress. Cara gives instant feedback and encouragement throughout her classes and workshops. What I love most about her classes is how she challenges you, but doesn't push you (if that makes sense?) She will challenge you to try new things and connect with your body, but doesn't judge or make you feel bad if your mind/body isn't ready. My other favorite aspect of Cara's classes is the strength she helps you build. There is always a purpose to her flows. This has helped me improve on poses/movements I formally thought impossible. Cara offers regular class, workshops, private trainings, outdoor yoga (summer time) and occasionally partners with local business for fun yoga outings. You should definitely check her out, she is super easy to talk to, and is caring and compassionate towards all who enter her space :)

She offers affordable workshops that focus on pose series (we are on arm balancing) and building blocks (hello, do you know how often I wondered if I was actually doing a pose correctly?). Well, she breaks them down to their basics and walks you through them so you feel more confident in doing them. Cara has a casual, relaxed and welcoming vibe. She doesn't take things too seriously and had a great sense of humor. She really knows her stuff and I am learning so much. Check out her workshops, you won't be sorry.

I felt pretty nervous going into my first class knowing that I have sciatica & felt pretty discouraged with other yoga classes in the past triggering more back pain. I expressed my concerns to Roni, owner of Good Moodra & one of the instructors at the studio, during my intake/first visit consultation prior to starting class. She listened to my concerns and guided me through my first class right next to me, telling me helpful tips throughout class. Jaeda, one of the instructors, was so helpful and kind in helping me set up my account & booking my first 7-day pass. Kathy and Michelle also really nice & helped me through my first week of class! It just seems like such a cute studio that has a great community of positive people who want to build you up wherever you are in your fitness journey.
