Great food. The "greens, eggs and yams" is one of my favorites. Order and ready in 7 minutes.... can't beat that! Something for everyone!

Not only is Izzy's a gluten free cafe, the food is next level. Inventive, fresh, flavorful and a blend of traditional favorites with modern twists. I was torn between the shrimp and grits and the Virginia Benedict. The fried Green tomatoes instead of a traditional English muffin sounded too delicious to pass up. It was perfectly portioned, seasoned and balanced. Beautifully poached egg topped with micro greens and tangy pickled white onions nestled between delicious fried Green tomatoes and blackened shrimp. Creamy, velvety hollendaise brought everything together. My partner had a delicious omelet with Idaho potatoes Oh, lavender mimosas with edible flowers were a nice touch too. Only 44 seats including a small counter, so reservations are recommend. But there is great shopping in the area if you have a wait like we did. This is a must try whether you're gluten free or not. I'll be back for those grits!

What we ordered: * Whipped Honey Cornbread: Seared edges, whipped honey butter, and scallions. Honestly addictive. Sweet, buttery, slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside! I just can't stop eating them * Hush Puppies: Served hot and crunchy with Louisiana Come Back sauce. Simple but really well done, especially with this dipping sauce. * Poached Pear Salad: Sweet poached pears, with a nutty flavor from candied pecans and dried cherries. I don't like goat cheese so I just pretend it didn't exist Light but flavorful, with a nice balance of sweet and tangy to pair with 2 heavy dishes above. * Voodoo Pork Chop: My main dish, I was surprised with the huge portion (10oz chop), served with collard greens, creole sauce, and sweet potatoes. Pork was incredibly tender and juicy, a bit salty but this is one of the best ones I've had in a while. It honestly felt like two servings and is definitely shareable. The space is beautiful with eclectic interior design, warm lighting, and a staircase that gives the whole place a nice vibe for dinner. We have been at this restaurant several times before and it never disappoints. We ordered the Mixed Grill again and it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the Curry Chicken was out of this world!! The rice, prawns, and green beans complement the dish perfectly. Our service was excellent and the ambience is always casual. Great food and a great atmosphere!!

My wife and I had a rare night out for dinner last night and we were in Post Falls. The White House Grill is famous for their garlicky foods (not all) and we like that. We could smell garlic at the entrance. My wife ordered a version of a gyro and Greek salad, which she described as "OK." It was a pita with curried chicken, unlike what she preferred as a gyro (chicken, no curry), but she tried it. I ordered the souvlaki (lamb kabobs), served over a large bed of rice and with "garlicky" green beans. The lamb, by the way was very tough to cut and to chew, more like mutton but not with any fat. Rethinking, I shouldn't have tried lamb at all, simply on ethics (mine). It looked enticing but I couldn't taste any of it. That is because I couldn't smell any of it, even when holding the plate right under my nose. No smell, no taste. That was because our 18-ish server was reeking of perfume, like she bathed in it. I believe there was another servicer of about the same age walking around with the same odor. It reminded me of a church service and elderly ladies. The most difficult part here is that our server was great! She was clear-spoken, sharp, and friendly. I just couldn't breathe when she came to our table (3-4 times). Maybe she doesn't like to smell garlic or want to smell like it, herself, but I can't return. I have two adult children who are both professional servers, so I hope these young women will understand and make adjustments for the customers. She truly is great at her job, otherwise.

I CANNOT believe this food truck is still open--it's absolutely unacceptable, INEXCUSABLE…read more.. ENTIRELY UNETHICAL........how much money I spend here!!! Their tacos are UNREASONABLY delicious--they should be OUTLAWED... it's a CRIME! I work in Ponderay, and as soon as I sit down in my lonely office chair at 8am, I feel the cravings begin, and I begin counting down the minutes until they open... I CANNOT HELP but order their tacos multiple times a week. There must be some kind of addictive property to these--it must be the OUTRAGEOUSLY flavorful spicy salsa?!! Someone needs to do something about this!!! Where is the policia?! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY...I have already been forced to take out loans to feed my taco habit. I have lost everything that matters to me--my children, my partner, my home... All of it to the tacos. If you value your financial stability, care about your family, (or your waistline,) STAY AWAY. These tacos will haunt you--call for you--seduce you. I am but a hollow shell of the person I once was...and all I can do now is fill the emptiness with tacos. My coworkers whisper about my taco habit behind my back. I hear the snickers, the judgment... They just don't understand. They don't know these tacos like I do. I've had to start telling them I'm "going to a meeting," which isn't technically a lie... I meet the Taco Temptress in the food court parking lot. I am forced to devour her sins alone in my car... tears (and lime juice) stream down my face. I am at the end of myself. I've given my life to these tacos--I can't go back now. I have been baptized in salsa. You can find me in the monastery, praying to the Patron Saint of Street Meat-- Locos Kitchen. 5/5. Would ruin my life again.
