2nd time getting to come here wince I came down to visit in 2021. Glad to see it was still around. Staffs friendly and they take their time making their subs. Last time I only picked up something for myself. This was a first ordering for a 4 of us. Everyone went with a 12" so we had lunch for next day. Prices are pretty fair for a non-franchise business. Their inside has booths available to eat at if you want. Looks like they have photos of their local towns folks all over the walls. Parking can be scarce but they do share with the pharmacy and a liquor store. I had their Hawaiian sub as is. Even for a 6" its very fulfilling. Two others got the spicey Italian. Stopped in for a spicy chicken sandwich at the recommendation of my cousin. Great service. Happy I popped in for lunch, solid sandwich spot.

Old school sub shop. Oil/ vinegar salt and pepper, standard. Old school. The way it should be. Greeted at the door. I said that this was our first visit. I was given a quick run down on how they did things. With a smile. Dining area as expected for a sub shop. Tables, soda machine. Etc. Several people dining, and all digging in. They give you so little meat it's embarrassing. Their bread tastes pretty good, that's the only good thing I can say about the place. My family and I have eaten here three times, to give it a chance, thinking maybe they just had a lame employee who doesn't know how to make sandwiches. Nope. Best Sub shop in town for locals. Family owned And extremely kind and personable. They make some of their own dressings OMG love the Chef with the homemade Italian dressing, it's massive. Prices are fabulous and they are super fast. They can even deliver In town. This is MY FAVORITE Place in town. Even the crackers for the salad are Non-GMO. You haven't experienced Sandpoint as a local until you come here. read more

Sandwiches are great just make sure you check your order before leaving. They can't seem to get it right. Ordered 2 hot turkey cheddar sandwiches with extra meat and I received 2 cold Turkey sandwiches with standard meat. It costs $4 each sandwich for extra meat, so it's a total ripoff because they don't even add meat. You're better off going to subway unfortunately. read more

Probably the best place in Sandpoint to get a decent sandwich. What it has going for it: - pricing is little cheaper compared to similar type establishments - staff if friendly - quick wait times (11:00 am during the week) - portion size a little larger compared to similar type establishments - off street parking What it has against it: - place could use a renovation - parking is a little tight So since I refuse to go to Subway anymore, I had to find a place to get a decent sandwich when I am up in Sandpoint. I heard of this place but never went into the place when I would drive by, since it isn't that appealing from the outside. Go inside and the inside is a little better but could use some updating. Menu is standard fare for a deli/sandwich shop. The pricing on the other hand is about $3-4 cheaper for sandwich here then say a certain sandwich shop that has locations in Rathdrum & Hayden. Sandwich size & quality is the same as similar establishments that are more expensive. So if they had to decide between updating their decor & keeping the prices were they are.... I say I can deal with the dated decor. Renovate this place and cheap pricing where it is....definitely a 5 star establishment all day. read more

Just picked up a phone order just to discover that they are preparing food without masks or gloves. When I asked if they don't wear masks the girl behind the counter proudly declared "nope". I'm not a mask fanatic but do believe anyone preparing food, especially cold food should care more about their customers. read more

Cute, small, locally owned business. Decent sub - I wasn't as impressed with it as others have been. It was a good sub for a good price, though. I was passing through town, and always look for new sandwich places to eat, as you can get tired of the same offerings from Jimmy John's, Subway and others... This was good - better than average. Quality small-town sub joint. I stopped in this August after finding it on Yelp while passing through town. Not too large of a menu, and the quality of sandwich was good. I got the super-club and was very satisfied with the amount of meat and produce on the sandwich. Semi-open prep are helps the atmosphere. Not a high-class establishment, but if you like good subs at a decent price and enjoy supporting the little guy (family-owned) instead of the man (corporate Subway), this is your place. Definitely worth stopping for lunch if you're passing through town and need to grab lunch. My only complaint is that the drinks were in Styrofoam cups, maybe they have changed it by now, I'm not sure. read more

Nice workers. Used to be really really good place and bang for buck. Now it's a little more expensive and the quality has dropped EXCEEDINGLY in the past 10 years. Back in High school we'd order this on lunch everyday and it was delicious. However they've either changed recipes or bought cheaper bread and the stuff in between, furthermore they've skimped the fk out of what goes on there sandwiches. I miss getting a foot long turkey bacon cheddar that was proper, now when I go I have to pay for a foot long and have them put the insides of the other half onto just one 6 inch to make it what it was. I can walk in the door and they know what I want before I even open my mouth. Nothing compares to the friendly, neighborly service. They are very fast (even when the line is out the door, it's really not that long to wait.) They always use fresh ingredients and they make their own sun tea. And they deliver. There is no other place in the Northwest that is comparable to this hometown business! read more
