Had them shipped to Iowa, Great price & they shipped them in a mighty mailer for extra protection and they arrived in great condition within a reasonable timeframe.. However incurred a minor issue at no fault to the store, inner sleeves were missing, this was a known issue from the record producer on this particular release, worked with Jules at Vinyl Junkies and she worked diligently with their supplier to make things right, took a bit but she got it done and shipped them right away free of charge and in perfect condition.. If you're looking for great service on your next vinyl purchase look no further, these guys and gals are great and they stand by what they sell.. The only thing I'd like to see improved is a little more consistency with grading on the used records. I recently bought a $70 used record and, after getting home, noticed a pretty significant scratch. To be fair, I should have taken the time to open the sleeve and inspect the record before buying it, so I take some responsibility for that. That said, I do think it would be helpful if noticeable flaws were pointed out, especially on higher-priced records. Even just knowing that a record is VG rather than assuming it's in better condition would make a difference. Overall, I've always enjoyed shopping at Vinyl Junkies and will definitely continue going back. This is really more of a suggestion than a major complaint--I just think a little more consistency with grading would make an already great record-buying experience even better.

A guy with cool stories about the stuff he has, and personal experiences with artists and recording stars. The first record he ever bought was Johnny Cash (cuz I was there on the hunt for Cash on behalf of my wife, came away with three used Cash records) You gotta step inside this place and see what happens. Their cassette collection leans towards the 90s and 2000s, which I'm not complaining. I thought the price point would be expensive for these vintage finds, but they are so cheap ($5 for The Beach Boys and $9 for Pink Floyd). The dominant genres are alternative and rap. I didn't look too deep into their vinyl records but they got a good mixture of current mainstream to hip hop mainstream - from Daniel Caesar to Vanilla Ice (good stuff). They also have CDs, pins, and vintage shirts. I didn't dig through the CDs and pins, but their curated shirts are pretty top-notch - from Ralp Lauren to 80s Nike (designs look like they were out of MTV during their neon days). The prices are a bit pricey ($30ish). One thing I thought that was very interesting is the bowls made out of discarded vinyl records. It's the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Record stores can sometimes feel overwhelming because there are so many categories and genres. They had a big selection with stuff for every price point. Reprints and originals. The guys working the shop just gave off a passion for music. This whole place just felt like a celebration of music. The guys there were super helping in helping me track down a record I was looking for while also providing some recommendations based on what I'm currently listening to. Never felt pressured. Never felt intimidated. It felt welcoming and cool. I plan on stopping by every time I'm in town and you should too.
