Both girls who were working that day were helpful, upbeat, and friendly. They made the experience all the better! My sister and I ordered the Blue Coconut at half sweetness and the Sassy Matcha and loved the drinks. The Sassy Matcha has both mochi and boba in it, which is a unique combination I've never tried before. The drink is smooth and creamy, and a perfect cool refreshment for anyone who loves matcha. Although I couldn't finish the drink since it was too sweet for me, I would definitely recommend it to people who love their matcha sweet. The Blue Coconut at half sweetness was also very good! Excellent tea house in Scott's Valley. It's a little tucked in from the Main Street so it's easy to miss if you're not looking, but do yourself a favor and find your way to it! All the drinks we tried were excellent, but i especially recommend the Coconut Milk Tea with boba, it was absolute perfection! Also, any tea drink with sea salt foam is going to be amazing, so definitely give that a try as well. Finally, the taiyakis! Get them while they're available because they do sometimes sell out, and once you try them you'll understand why. They are super delicious! We tried all 3 flavors, and think the custard was the best, but the chocolate and red bean were also extremely good so really you can't lose here. This spot is a hidden gem! There isn't much boba in Santa Cruz but this is the closest it gets. Very creamy for non dairy and not too sweet. Perfect coconut flavor. Would come back every day if it wasn't so pricey! 2 bobas ended up being around $15. I'm used to spending about 9-10$ on 2 boba drinks. Other than the price, I loved everything about it! This place is so cute!! We went at about 8pm on a Sunday, and I was expecting it to be really quiet. It was filled with teenagers just hanging out and playing card games! I had the "Sassy Matcha" which is now one of my favorite drinks to have, too bad i live 8 hours away. For your boba fix in the Santa Cruz area, this is your place. That being said I tend to hold off buying boba from here and saving my money for when I'm in the bay. Their teas don't have a strong tea flavor and so they rely mostly on sugar and flavored drinks to give their teas some taste. If you're a person who likes light sweet iced tea drinks, this means you risk ordering glorified lightly sugared water for $6-9 dollars (unless it's a day they've decided to actually steep their teas). Their milk teas are better than their fruit teas, and so when I need a boba fix I do come here. They have a huge selection of dairy options including nondairy creamer that makes it easy to order lactose free milk teas. The bobas are just so expensive and the quality is only so-so that I reserve it for emergencies... read more

I've been here numerous times and I love sugary drinks however sometimes the drinks are inconsistent and also bummer that they give less of the drink when I ask for no ice (if you see in the picture). I had a horrible experience here today. I stopped in on my way home from work. Was looking forward to it since I had been there before There were 4 young girls behind the counter and a older Asian man behind the register. I ordered a strawberry iced tea with strawberry popping boba and mango popping boba. After I paid, I said to the man I just want to confirm it is the "popping boba" and he said In a rude tone, that they don't have popping boba. I pointed through the glass and told him that it was the popping boba I just had it there two days ago he then said, coffee? He seemed defiantly confused, It was a night mare, then he said, "you don't know what you want?!" Then, I assured him I did know and I ordered with the girl that was standing right there when I was in there a few days ago. She asked if she could help and he shut her down quickly, all the employees look scared of him. He then angrily walked over to the cash register and said he was canceling my order. Omg! I couldn't believe it! Honestly I felt harassed by him. It was so weird. I kept looking at the girls that worked there and they all looked like a deer in the headlights scared of him. The way he was talking to me was in a belittling, condescending way. I asked him if he was the owner and he assured me he was. I said, well I won't be back. He laughed and said good. Jeez, I just wanted an iced boba tea and all as I got was complete humiliation from the owner of the store. I guess he skipped the course on customer etiquette. The boba is 4/5 and tastes fresh, unfortunately it is an extra .50 to the order which is not uncommon but sad still. They have a punch card system which is nice. My mouth just hung open as the guy, who said he was the owner after I asked for a manager, told me that since I already payed for and tried it that they wouldn't fix it or give me a refund. I just left. That's that for me but I do plan on also sharing with the locals as well as on Nextdoor. You have the wrong attitudes in the wrong town for it.
