Mother's Day dinner at Soulwok was honestly such a pleasant surprise. We ordered the honey chicken, General Seoul chicken with broccoli, the half & half drink, berry lemonade, and a virgin mojito -- and everything had really good flavor. The broccoli was still crisp (not overdone at all), portions were HUGE, and we had enough leftovers after splitting two entrées between three people. Now listen... I'm used to a more luxe dining experience but for what this concept is? They did a really good job. The staff was warm and attentive, the food came out quickly, and there was no pressure to rush through dinner or give up your table. I ordered via DoorDash. My food arrived in the cutest little temperature safe bag. I ordered the Singapore Noodles. These were the BEST Singapore Noodles I've ever had. I've enjoyed it from different restaurants, but this by far was the best. The portion of beef, chicken, and shrimp was very surprising (in a good way). There was no way I could finish the meal in one seating. Less than half of the container filled me up. Portion size is absolutely amazing!!!! Visited here and would agree with the FB promotion that food is very good. We ordered the mighty shrimp egg roll, Soulwok wings, and the Singapore noodles minus beef plus extra vegetables, and Dragon and Phoenix which is Orange chicken and sweet and chili shrimp. The egg roll is like a meal by itself; skin was crispy and egg roll stuffed will all the goodness on a shrimp egg roll 7/10. The Soulwok wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful! The sauce was sweet and savory, and crispy 9/10. The Singapore noodles was a large portion, flavorful, and good 7/10. Lastly, the Dragon and Phoenix are two staple Chinese dishes married on one dish; Orange chicken and sweet chili shrimp. Chicken was tender, fresh and delicious 8/10. I would love to see a pair with General Tso chicken and the shrimp dish. The portions are shareable unless you are just hungry and have on stretchy pants. I was happy to learn that I could order via UberEats from SoulWok. I enjoyed my in-store dining experience and it helped shaped my delivery order. An order of fried rice and jumbo wings was enough to share among two people. I'll admit, the sauce for the wings tasted better when I dined in. Sevice was excellent, food was excellent and plentiful. It was nice and quiet since it was a Sunday Ave they had just opened for the day. I had the Soul Wings {Soul Wok flavored} and the Monster Steak and Cheese Eggroll. My husband and son had the Soul Wings also, Mumbo Sauce flavored. The Berry Lemonade is ON POINT! So I had that boxed to go. After eating half of my shrimp roll I was full anyway so it worked out. The mocktail was a bit tooooooo sweet for me. The shrimp roll was delicious...it could've use more shrimp and if they could make the sauce GRACES use for their spring rolls I would come back JUST for that! My husband ended up having my meal when he got off last night so it worked out perfectly. Hahaaa!! The service was very friendly and very fast, they didn't give us the hot towel for our hands which is no biggie but I was kinda looking forward to it. Everything that we had tasted great! We decided to dine in on a weekday. They were quite busy and there was a wait. Our server eventually got to us and apologized for the extended wait and made sure that our experience was one point from then on. We started with warm hands towels that were infused with essential oil. That was an unexpected touch. This was my second time ordering from Soul Wok. The first time, everything we ordered was perfect, so I was looking forward to ordering again. Unfortunately, this afternoon was not a good experience. We ordered two steak & cheese egg rolls, and both were extremely greasy, burnt, and hard. Please see the picture attached. I understand restaurants get busy, but the quality tonight was very disappointing. I also ordered the donuts, and they were missing the strawberry puree. It was refreshing, though I think the lemonade mix could be a bit stronger. Overall, it's not a bad place at all. Just not sure if it fully lives up to the hype or if it's worth the trip every time. The shrimp and broccoli was delicious. The orange chicken was over battered, super sweet, and somewhat chewy. We received their signature soul, Mumbo wings for a takeout order without any mumbo sauce at all and the sauceless wings were dry and seasonless. My first visit. I had the salt and pepper shrimp and that was pretty ok. Would I order it again? Prob not. My second visit I order the general tso wings and steak and cheese. Those wings? I have an issue that someone rather me pay $22 for shrimp and broccoli with lomein. Then to offer me to only pay $15. However, she did honestly apologize but im not tipping after that because now thats more money. I would've given that extra money to her. My food was almost $35! I get this mess home and NO VEGGIE in sight! Soooooooooo I paid $3 extra dollars for this trash! I bite into the egg roll. Is it shrimp and cabbage eggroll?!!? Heck no! It's steak and cheese eggroll. Customer service was what to be expected. I was greeted right away to place my carry-out order, and it was ready 20 minutes later when I returned to pick it up as instruction by the cashier. As stated in other reviews, the large burrito size egg roll was good and worth the cost. Thank goodness because the orange chicken and fried rice was thrown away. There is a reason most restaurants use chicken thighs instead of chicken breast for breaded meats with sauces because the thigh holds the moisture inside the meat and not in the breading. Although a generous portion, my order was not flavorful and was mushy because all the sauce was absorbed by the breading. Inside the breading, the chicken was over cooked, very dry and hard. The plastic fork broke when trying to use it the slice the chicken. The rice was under cooked with a grits texture, also with no Asian seasoning, basically brown rice with frozen peas and carrots. Go try the egg roll and purchase extra sauce it will be enough to satisfy your appetite but go to your favorite neighborhood carry-out for better tasting Asian inspired food. read more

As soon as we were seated she brought over warm towels for our hands. We ordered the wings as an appetizer (general tso sauce on the side) , and the Singapore noodles.
