I will say they are life altering in terms of relief. However, after having more than 7 plugs put in and charges in excess of $75 for each visit, I questioned the process. Dr F told me it's like "trying on shoes and trying to find the right size." Well, I have never had to try on numerous sizes of shoes. Additionally, I have many friends who have had plugs put in and have never had them fall out even once, let alone several times. I was then told that he has never experienced this in 30 years of practice. I find this hard to believe and then got yet another bill for $95!! Needless to say I won't be returning.
