To make matters worse it was a few days before x-mas and I was the designated driver for my disabled husband and would have to cross the bridge to Manhattan. I promptly went to V.C. and spoke with the young lady at the desk, (who is always so nice I forgot her name sorry) , she in turn gave me over to Daniel who I believe is the owner. Daniel immediately understood the gravity of the problem, took the matter into his hands, took out the original lenses, cut them down to size, found a new frame and handed me the new pair the next day! My vision is fairly challenging and Dr. Potter has been the only opthamologist I've really trusted over the course of my life. Even when I moved out of state I tried to find a way to schedule check ups when I was back in town. I'm in a crunch right now and am without glasses and tried to get some accommodation from their staff. I got stone walled trying to get my own medical information. Not once did anyone come over to me and say, "I'm sorry the Dr 'had an emergency, etc.. Finally, Dr Fucigna suggested I have plugs put in for dry eye. I will say they are life altering in terms of relief. However, after having more than 7 plugs put in and charges in excess of $75 for each visit, I questioned the process. Dr F told me it's like "trying on shoes and trying to find the right size." Well, I have never had to try on numerous sizes of shoes. Additionally, I have many friends who have had plugs put in and have never had them fall out even once, let alone several times. I was then told that he has never experienced this in 30 years of practice. I find this hard to believe and then got yet another bill for $95!! Needless to say I won't be returning.

He makes you feel very comfortable, explains everything he is doing, and is very empathetic if you are wary of eye exams. He's also helped me with headaches due to wearing my contacts too much, and treated me for pink eye. I haven't gotten a new pair of eye glasses in awhile, but I do love my Tory Burch pair I got a few years back. The ladies behind the counter are also very friendly and helpful. I will call them occasionally to send me my prescription or order more contacts and they are usually very attentive and responsive.

And still haven't received her…read moreglasses always the same answer they didn't get anything from the lab, and the lab guarantee it will be here in 3 days they sent it to the wrong address was told this 4 times already still haven't received my mom's glasses. And can't go anywhere else because insurance already approved and paid for glasses. Worst place ever. Do not recommend this place at all
