We got takeout from here recently and were totally blown away by the quality of the food. We tried the fury burger with bacon and split the caesar salad. The burger was absolutely delicious, it had pickled apples and onion jam, which gave it the balance it needed but wasn't overwhelming flavor-wise. Perfectly cooked to a medium rare, cheesy, juicy, perfect bun choose too. The crispy bacon was a nice addition for an extra cost. The fries were flavorful and crispy, the salad was the classic caesar well done. Ideal amount of food for two people, they gave us enough of everything for a satisfying finger licking meal. It's really hard to find a decent non-smash burger in this town, surprisingly, but this took the cake for my new favorite takeout burger. The staff were kind when I picked up the order as well and it seemed like a fun spot to hang and watch the game or even work on a laptop. read more

Wow six years since I've been to this place, different name and I guess different management but great as always. The pizza do not disappoint. We got the no sleep till Brooklyn with sausage and broccoli rabe, absolutely delicious. The wings were soo much better than the last time I was there. They were huge perfect crispy, the sauce was nice but not drenched nor overwhelming. The house fries were not good though. They were saggy, oily and cold. Not crispy at all. As for drinks, I got the while sangria which was pretty good. Wednesday is trivia night, fun but very difficult questions. We just got thru 1/2 of it before we had to leave. I was honestly shocked by how the owner, Fearghal, spoke to my girlfriend. She had all the documentation and vaccine records for her emotional support dog, yet he kept talking to her in a rude, dismissive, and judgmental tone, repeatedly saying "that's not a service animal." Whether you agree or not, there's a respectful way to speak to people, and this was not it. What made it even more ridiculous was that the hostess told us we could sit wherever we wanted, so we sat at the bar. Then suddenly the owner came over saying they APPARENTLY had reservations and suggested we leave. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. It definitely has a sports bar feel, without the strict bro-ey feeling -- i.e. you don't need to be a day trader or wear suits to fit in. Excellent brewpub! So good that we came twice during a limited visit to Brooklyn. We had both dinner and brunch here, great selections both times. We had such a great time! My cousin and her husband who were here from Puerto Rico for the Brooklyn half marathon were craving pizza and beer afterwards. My husband found this place on Yelp. Food was amazing!! Considering how busy it was, the service was outstanding! Our server checked on us constantly and gave us great recommendations. The brewery is really nice and inviting. There are televisions and games to play which is nice, but most surprising is how huge the space is once you enter. We will be returning. We were too hungry to take pictures. I decided to do a staycation in downtown Brooklyn and was just two blocks away from this spot, so I figured, why not give it a try? My friend made same-day reservations for us, and it wasn't a problem at all. When I arrived, my friend was already seated with a drink in hand. I met the hostess/our waitress at the front, and she checked to see if my friend was in the dining area before directing me to the table. I have to say, I felt like our waitress, Carson, wasn't as attentive as I would've liked. After I arrived, I waited over 10 minutes just to get some water and order my drink, even though my friend had been there before me. There were a few other times we needed her, but luckily, another guy walking around was able to help us out. The vibes were good, though--great music, and the food was solid. This place used to be Circa Brewery, I think it's been rebranded? My husband and I stopped by for brunch, and seated immediately. While you would think the beer would be the main focus here, do NOT miss out on the food- everything we had was really good. I ordered the Beet Tahini toast- beautiful bright pink beet tahini slathered onto a nice crusty piece of toast! It's usually topped off with apples, but they subbed the apples with avocados- I think this should be their usual, as I loved the contrast of the soft creaminess of the avocado/tahini with the crusty bread. The toast was served with a mixed green salad with vinaigrette. My husband ordered the brunch burger- a perfectly grilled patty topped off with jalapeños, fried egg, and pepper jam. Because the burger was so tall (lots on the inside!), he had it deconstructed, eating it bit by bit. I stole a bite and I really liked how all the flavors melded together. Comes with fries and salad. Beers were great as well- try the Echo Beach Pale Ale and Spacelab. Solid brunch option if you're in the area. read more

It took some time before we got someone to take our order and even to get refills and our food. We ordered the firebird pizza ($21) to start. The pizza was tasty but, the portions were too small. There were hardly any meat on the pizza. The spicy glazed chicken sandwich ($18) was tasty and the fries were thin shoestring. The bread was a bit on the stale side but, overall the sandwich was tasty enough that I would come back for. We also got a small mac and cheese ($14) and it was okay. The mac and cheese lacked flavor and depth. It was kinda bland and small for the price. My friend got a pilsner ($7) and got two small glasses but, then on third round he got a way bigger mug. We were confused on why the first two times, it was in a smaller glass. The food was okay but, the standouts were the sandwich and pizza. However, the price didn't match the portion size for the pizza. Can you find any chicken on that pizza? :D read more
