Stopped in for an afternoon drink. I had the mulled wine which was pretty good. Personally thought there was too much orange juice though. Service was super nice.

It's your classic neighborhood pub. When we came in at 9:30pm on a Monday night, kitchen just closed unfortunately as I was craving fries. We ended up having some drinks for the night. I got a Jameson and Gingerale for $11, that's all.

Always a good selection of beer here! This one is a victory sour monkey... The bartenders know exactly what beers are on tap and can make excellent recommendations!

Great location, great brew selection! Staff keeps the pours going and we had no issues finding a place to plop and drink!

Stopped in here after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. A little off the beaten path but certainly felt like a locals only place. Asked for the juiciest IPA and got the Industrial Arts craft pour. It was great on a Saturday afternoon. They had the game going on the back. The vibes were nice and relaxing. No frills. Our server looked like the owner. He was nice and friendly, and did not pressure us to hurry up and go. The food smelled amazing and fish & chips smelled great. Will have to try next time in Brooklyn.

Another excellent Brooklyn beer!

Very cool, older bar off the beaten path in Brooklyn. Not a lot of other bars in this area. Came in early Saturday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all, just a couple of guys having lunch. The food looked good. We were just there to get out of the cold and have a couple of beers. No frills here. Very casual, laid-back setting. One guy behind the bar. Looked like the owner. My son and I had the outstanding Brooklyn Lager. My wife had an old fashion. She said it was very good. Great hole in the wall experience. Food reviews look pretty good. Would definitely like to come back here on a future visit.

Ended up here by chance after a long stroll in Dumbo. We went for the ale house burger and fish & chips. The waitress was really nice, but the service was a bit slow. Food was okay, nothing special, but kinda pricey. They've got a good variety of beers though, and I really liked the kölsch.

So I'm on my way home after the gym and decide to go over the Brooklyn Bridge. Once over the River I take a detour to Brooklyn Heights. Looking around the old neighborhood. I pass by this place and luckily find a treasured spot So I decide to park and go in for early dinner. Outside I meet Minnow a beautiful dog. A Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, a striking animal with light brown eyes that match her mane. The rest of her body is Sandy haired black and light grey. We hit it right off and I offer to buy her a martini, but her owner says she already had her limit! Ha Once inside I order a glass of pino noir. Which the waiter Eugene says is his favorite Peter the bartender comes over with the wine and I order the roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions and mushrooms. I also get a side order of French fries. It comes quickly and looks delicious. I dig in. It's great! Eugene is very attentive, coming over asking if I need anything. No all is great Wine. Good roast beef in a rather cool venue.

Fish & Chips ($17 each--little pricey)

Ordered: Fish & Chips (please see photo) Price: $17 This is the best Fish & Chips in Brooklyn Heights that I know of. It's quite pricey but certainly some good Cod over fries. It comes with vinegar, lemon halves and some mayo-based sauce. The portions are decent. There are 3 fried cod. The fries are tasty.

While in Brooklyn I was riding around with my friend looking for parking to go to the park and ended up in front of this spot. We decided to get a drink while here and was served by Micho. He was a cool dude and was attentive. My friend ordered one of their beers and they had many to choose from and I ordered a pinot nior. My friend also had cheese fries. The pinot nior wasn't bad at all. My friend enjoyed the cheese fries and the beer. The bill was about $32. All in all we had a good experience.

Local pub feel. Classics both drinks and bar food. Bartenders are pros. Fast, chatty, funny.

Bartender is an absolute clown. If you don't know what beer you want the second you walk up to the bar, good luck

So last weekend I was in the area and was wondering if they were still around and to my surprise they were still open in the same location that I remembered. So I decided to give them a try again after almost 15+ yrs and it was just like I remembered, the food was phenomenal and the beer was amazing! Definitely give them a shot if you're in the area, I'm very happy they're still around because I'll be going there more frequently.

We rolled in at 1pm on a Saturday without a reservation, but the hostess was accommodating and ushered us to the back patio. Seems to get busy fast when the weather is nice (20 minutes after being seated the patio seating was full, so definitely book ahead if you can.) If you're a fan of good drafts (didn't try any food) and soaking up the sun, this is your spot. The beer list is as extensive as you'd expect, and the atmosphere was buzzing, everyone seemed happy to be there. A perfect neighborhood find.

Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by the manager and other staff to make sure I was all settled for my party, which I really appreciated. This space has a partnership with a pizza place up the street to order food but also provides flexibility to bring in your own food which a lot of places do not allow. They also allowed me to bring balloons and cake which many places also don't allow. I had around 40 people and there was plenty of space to sit down or stand. It wasn't too loud so I was able to have a conversation with friends while also enjoying the music. The music was great and we even stayed afterwards to enjoy the DJ and the vibes were still strong. If you're looking for a private space, this is the perfect spot for your party! My friends are still talking about how cool this space was and were very impressed!
