November 21, 2021 I purchased touchscreen apple carplay for my 2017 infiniti QX60 suv, which required a $100 down payment that I paid on the day of purchase. The item was installed in my 2017 infiniti qx60 suv on February 21, 2022 which required me to pay $924 payment to complete the transaction on my credit card that same day. Prior and post service installation I was never given an invoice for the item I originally purchased nor was I presented any documentation for me to sign. The only thing I received was receipts that I paid for both transactions. Once I realized that the item was not touchscreen apple carplay I immediately contacted Nate the rep for Dino's Audio. I explained to him that this is not what I ordered and he responded by saying unfortunately it is not touchscreen and you will have to use the stereo knob to operate. I continue to explain my dissatisfactions and Nate just continues to suggest alternate options for me to utilize the item. Nate even suggested I go to amazon to purchase an Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter to use. I told Nate that I want to return the item and had to continue to call several times in order for him to get this item returned, which is the reason why it took from February 2022 to May 2022 to get completed. Once the employees at Dinos Audio removed the item on May 4, 2022 Nate handed my keys and I had to ask him about my refund. This is when he said for the first time that they don't refund only store credits. Obviously this was not told to me before or during the entire process. This policy is not on the website nor presented to me anytime from November 21, 2021 through May 4, 2022. Now I went back to Dino's audio on May 6th, 2022 at 4pm to request all documents that I signed. Nate did not have any documents I signed and he only gave me an invoice which is the first time I received and says at the bottom "no refunds. only store credits''. At the end of all of this I was rewarded a full refund $1024 through my credit union.

Although we still disagree about what caused the original problems, Bruce agreed to reinstall my remote start/alarm at no charge. I expected them to reinstall my old equipment, but they actually installed a new kit and also reconnected my dash cam for free. It's been a couple of weeks and everything is working perfectly with no electrical issues. I still stand by my original review because it accurately describes what happened at the time, but I also believe in giving credit where it's due. I sincerely appreciate Bruce reconsidering the situation and DeDona ultimately making things right.

After Magic Audio replaced the battery terminal and completed stereo/A/C work, my battery warning light came on as soon as I left. The A/C also appeared inconsistent until the electrical issue was identified. I later inspected the battery under the seat and found that the small fused charging-system sense wire on the positive terminal had not been reconnected when the terminal was replaced. Once this wire was properly reattached, the battery light issue was resolved and the A/C began working normally. This was a simple but critical connection that should have been reattached during the repair. I spent additional time diagnosing and correcting the issue myself after leaving the shop. I'm updating my review so other customers know to double-check the battery terminal connections after service. *edited review to make lt harder for him to argue it and overturn it as I'm sure he's GREAT at that too
