The reports are exhaustive, and they provide lots of details on what's okay or not, and any action to be taken. No home is perfect, but we were able to purchase with a lot more confidence in what we were getting, which helps to take the stress down on a very very stressful time.

Per report, roof was still OK, not needing new roof immediately. Titan never got onto roof, only used a drone. Thankfully, I got my own inspection with a different company before deciding to purchase home. My inspector, who did get on roof, discovered extensive damage to roof to include water leaking into attic in several places. This inspector noted that roof needs replacement immediately. This damage was never listed on Titan report. Also, furnace was not Ok. It had not been inspected for 2 years and needed to be replaced. In addition, Titan report never mentioned water under house and some repairs needed there. While Titan used pictures and report looked good, I would have bought a house that needed thousands of dollars in repairs had I relied on their report.

I think I'm still in shock over my experience with J…read more I could tell you about how this guy gave me an in-depth home inspection while I was out-of-state that made me feel like I was right there the whole time. 100% felt like that was some of the best money I've ever spent. I could tell you how he -- completely unsolicited --offered to walk through the report in person with me whenever I got into Washington for the home sale. But Y'ALL. Let me tell you instead how I called this guy nearly TWO YEARS AFTER THE INSPECTION in a panic during the last big freeze when an exterior hose bib failed. Why? Because a) the water company had come through and updated the water meter, changing the look of the main shut-off (rendering my limited experience with the valve totally useless), and b) no plumber would come out, since they were responding to 19,383,629 other freeze-related emergencies. I expected NOTHING from this guy at this point: it was the hailiest of Hail Mary's. Instead, I got a quick "I'm on my way" from him. WHAT?!? When he got there, found another shut-off, and kept me from going without water (and my house from floating away on its own plumbing-failure river), my shriveled little Grinchy heart DID grow three sizes that day! J is good people doing good work. I will never work with anyone else for home inspections.

He does a very complete inspection. He emailed me the report the same day. It is very useful since I know what projects to work on first. He is an expert. He answered my questions with ease and I will continue to use him for future homes I buy. The $595 fee was very fair. He spent over 4 hours at my house yesterday and i feel so relieved that I know the condition of my house. His work is exceptional.

I am a first time home buyer I got a recommendation by my…read moreagent (Matt Dubas) to use "Move Home Inspections" for my inspection. My inspector name was Chip Lisk. He was a nice guy. His credential appeared credible. But he MISSED A CRITICAL piece in my report. My home was FULL of COCKROACHES. They were in inside and under all kitchen appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, range and the outlets for the receptacles and switches. Chip L. license says he is qualified inspector as well as a pest inspector. So my wife and I had confidence in his ability to detect and id if there would be any pest like cockroaches. I researched online on how this pest counld have been identified. It was simple as looking behind the refrigerator and examining the floor an looking on wall for small black drops (cockroach poop) and cockroach skin/eggs. We had a pest terminator come out and identified then. He said the same thing. That you need to look behind the refrigerator and open a few outlet covers. You can even see the poop droppings on the receptical them selves. * I cant believe a professional could have missed these standard identifiers.. His report was well done but this critical missing piece has costed by numerous hours and around $6000 in expenses * I took a lot of clear pictures. If any one would like to have me send them to you. ref: https://www.movesmart.net/contact/ Move Smart Home Inspections 25920 185th Pl SE Covington, WA 98042 253-631-4019 Inspector: Chip Lusk Chip Lusk - Licensed Inspector Licensed Inspector #401 Structural Pest Inspector #77158 My agent: Matt Dubas Real Estate Agent Cell: 206-300-7198 email: teamdubas@gmail.com
