I had a great experience working with Michael. From the start, he was easily the friendliest person I spoke to while shopping around. He took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel rushed. His pricing is very fair and competitive, but what really sold me were the warranties: lifetime labor warranty and a 3-year warranty on the dash cam itself. The installation was impressive, he finished in about 1.5 hours, and the work is incredibly neat with all wires completely hidden. Very satisfied with everything. read more

Dong is awesome... Very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I went to him two years ago to have a 3-channel VIOFO dash cam system installed in my RAV4 Hybrid. He did a super clean job on it. More recently, he just installed a PowerCell 8 battery pack to sustain parking mode on the camera and, once again, he did an amazing job and for an incredibly reasonable price. I've taken 3 of my cars here now and recommend this place to all my friends and family. I have no problem with my tints. One car is 7 years old and the tints are still going strong. This place I found here on yelp a while back. I got my car done here in 2016 and had to get it done twice within a couple days (less than a week). Which should have been a red flag. Now, 7 years later, the tint on my car is getting bubbles and not looking good. I HAVE TO GET IT DONE AGAIN! I had my other car done somewhere else and it's still good after 15+ years! I honestly wish that I can ask for my money back! It's time that I can't get back if I do go back to them. I regret recommending them to friends. Not worth the money to get it done here. read more

First time having a brand new car so I am very weary of who gets to work on it, compared to my older cars. Michael was very responsive to me from the start of my inquiry up to setting up appointment date and time. Liked his rate and quote for ceramic tint for my car and decide to go with him because he is the nearest from my area, especially on how my car turned out after his tint job, followed his instruction of not operating windows for 2days and now I checked out all windows look and operate in good condition. I Arrived a little bit early before the appointment time but with no hesitation he started to serve me and pulled my car right into his space and worked on it. Sound Tint modernized my 2011 Prius! He installed a backup camera, microphone and touch screen console. The camera was positioned perfectly and soldered well. The microphone was placed out of view on the top drivers side of the windshield and captures sound while filtering interference. The center console was bright, fitted well and works like a charm. sound auto tint said lifetime warranty in 2019 ... the tint is now all bubbles ... went in and he said that that just means he will remove it free but I would have to pay for new tint .. that's not what a lifetime warranty means to me ! !! Never going back here again !!! read more

This review is way overdue. I had a Nexar dash cam hard wired in my 2015 Subaru WRX about a year ago and I currently am wanting to get another one installed in my other car. I now live in Vegas, but I think about this place all the time when needing car dash cam installations because of how quick and efficient he was getting it done. It's been about a month now after I got my windows tinted here and it feels so much better, cooler and no BUBBLES in my tint. It is a family owned business, they are by appointment only. I did call in and got an appointment the same day. You can drop off and pick your car up later or you could wait like I did until your car is done. They do have a waiting area, they provide water and also have a phone charging station for your phone. The service took about an hour and some minutes, so it wasn't long. Michael took care of my tint and explained the way the percentages work so I could understand. The work was done in the time frame promised. I was pleasantly surprised as to how nice it came out. When I left, I totally forgot not to roll my window down and I rolled it back up and called Michael in a panic. He told me to come back and I did. He made my window ok again. Before I left, he put masking tape over my window buttons (lol) so I won't mistakenly roll my window down again. All in all, he really did take care of me and my car. Highly recommended!!! read more

I needed my front windshield tint removed and I got a quote from this place $60-$90 for the removal. I made an appointment and it was fairly easy! Got here on a Wednesday, was told it would take around an hour but the gentleman was so good at what he does, he finished in like 30 min or less for $60. Wow! What a steal! Had my head unit go out and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Replaced unit, checked all fuses, but couldn't find anything. Called Sound Tint, who offered the lowest price to diagnose the problem, and took it over after work. He figured it out in less than 10 mins and had me on the road again in no time. Went to sound tint again. This is my third time there and my third car. I just recently bought a 98 Honda Civic hatchback for my daughter to daily. It needed tint really bad. I got the 35% rear and 50% front windows tinted. He removed my old tint and saved my rear defroster. The car has manual door locks and I wanted an alarm also. He quoted a fair price, not the cheapest, but fair price and got the alarm hooked up and made the locks power locks. Also, the car had a bad passenger window regulator, also manual and he repaired that as well. The owner, Michael I believe, took care of everything. The cost got a bit expensive, but for the amount of work at the end of the day I was still saving and he still came out cheaper than other tint shops. I'd give my quote up, but that wouldn't be fair to his business and also every car is different and the price would be different as well. Long story short, decent price, great work, and service! read more

I came in to Michael with two different cars that needed tinting. I had no idea on what tint was appropriate, just wanted something to block out some of the heat with the oncoming heatwaves. I often drive kids in my car too and I feel bad there's no shade whatsoever. Michael told me to leave it to him and I was completely satisfied with his judgement. He noticed some damages to my car (again I drive kids around and I can't see what they do behind me) but he notified me right away! I appreciate the communication and he gave me a timeline as to when the car would be done and he was punctual. A bit on the pricier side but completely worth it. I have lifetime warranty on the tint and if I ever run into trouble Michael says to bring it back and he will help take it off. I can't recommend him enough! I think by this point my family and I have tinted over 5 cars with Michael!!! read more

Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

At the appointment, Bradley was incredibly thoughtful - he listened closely to all the research I had done on products that met my requirements (maximizing privacy, enough light for plants, and heat rejection). He actually proposed a product that I was not aware of from Vista that met all our needs even better than any I had already found! Bradley measured up and sent out an estimate super quickly, and the price was great, especially for the premium Vista product. There was a slight hiccup when I discovered that the film he recommended might have a small amount of metal that might affect signal reception in the house (we live in an area with notoriously poor signal). Bradley instantly offered to do additional research with his distributor, and he got back to me the next day with additional information that put me at ease. Once we signed the proposal, we were scheduled for installation within a few days. The installation team couldn't have been nicer, more knowledgeable, neater, cleaner, or more efficient. The two of them took care of a large number of windows PLUS some extra windows with leftover film in less than 8 hours. Oh and they were great about making sure the front door was closed after they were told we have 3 cats - as a pet parent, this matters so much when you have work done in the house! We are thrilled with the result. No bubbles (even though we know they disappear as the film cures over multiple weeks) and we could feel the difference in heat transfer instantly. It's gonna be a much better summer because of the film. The privacy improvement is significant, and the plants are still getting plenty of light; having said that, I promised Bradley I'd come back to update this review with the results so that plant parents out there could feel comfortable about having options for film products. If you're considering having film installed in your house, don't hesitate to give CA Tint Crew a call!

More dirt in the film became apparent. I think for the cost invested I rather keep the original. I felt automotive film had better heat reduction for some reason.

Service: The tint installed was a Suntek Ceramic Tint for the 4 side windows and rear hatch glass. The technician did a fair job. I have a rear dash camera on the back glass and the technician was kind enough to remove and reinstall after the tint job but it wasn't aligned properly. Took about 2:30 hours to complete the job. Quality: So far nearly a year, the Suntek ceramic tint I'd say held up well. I did notice 2 things about the passenger side window. My car logo on the bottom corner was fading a bit and a very small spec on the passenger side window. It's not enough for me to be concerned about though. Overall: Nearly a year since the tint job was done, I'd say they have done a decent job for the price I was quoted for. Other shops charge double if not, triple the amount. If it was a bit cheaper or same prices when compared to another shop, than I would've given this a 2-star review. I decided to give 4-stars for the responsiveness during the quoting processes and the price. The tint job itself was okay.
