Originally came here to get ceramic tint for my car, and this review has been a long time coming--almost two years now. Sean gets 5/5 for the Johnson ceramic tint he installed. Clean job, no issues. But there is absolutely no reason "stereo" should be in the name of his business. Since I was already getting tint, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone when I saw he offered car audio installation. He seemed trustworthy, so I had him install a new head unit, speakers, and amp. I had static from my rear right speaker for over a year and every time I would bring my car in he would lie to me straight in my face and said the issue was most likely 'the signal coming from my phone.' I finally had enough and took my car to an actual professional car audio shop called Speaker Works in Orange and the photos I put is what they found: a complete mess behind it. Improper crimps, tangled wires, T-taps, no proper signal/power separation-- they said it was one of the worst installs they have ever seen and I have to pay a lot to get all of this fixed up. They are going to send me more photos because this is going to take a while for them to clean the entire mess Sean made. That complete hack job is probably a good idea for how the rest of the wiring looks throughout my entire car. Please don't ever take your car here to get car audio installed and it is so sad that other people who are uninformed like I used to be driving around with his install and gave him 5 stars have no idea how terrible their install is and I'm honestly so lucky that the only issue I had was intermittent static from my rear right door speaker. This review was really hard for me to make because I hate writing bad reviews. Sean if you are reading this... You faked trust for over a year. I gave you multiple chances to make things right, and instead, you lied to my face while your wiring job put my car at risk. You told me I was getting "the best service out of all your customers" while gaslighting me and ignoring a serious problem you created. I needed help with the recurring issue with my dashcam where it keeps being turned on and off when I drive, and I could not get in touch with the person that helped me install it. I reached out to A1 through Yelp to see if they can help check on it. Sean is very nice and immediately found the issue, turns out it was loose ground connection, the previous person who helped me used the wrong material to keep the ground cable stay still. First off, I'd highly recommend this place for tint. I came in not sure of what shade to get and felt very confident that they walked me through very well. The Model Y comes with rear windows factory tinted darker than front windows and they were able to help me match the tint and also factoring in how dark for night driving. I dropped off the car at 8am and was able to retrieve the car at the end of my work day. This is the 5th car I've had tinted in my life and can confidently say this is one of the better shops I've been to.
