Take your money elsewhere, this shop is super unprofessional and does poor work that led to my car needing major repairs. Took my 2019 C63 to them in order to install an amplifier and subwoofer that they sold as a package deal. The price was reasonable for the package however it was super weird when they kept trying to upsell me like some sort of sketchy used car dealership. I should probably have walked away when the "installation expert" told me that my car would be a "complicated installation". When I got the car back the first thing i noticed was that the bass control knob they installed (which cost an extra $70 or so) was not working and the only way to control the bass was through the cars settings. Secondly I brought the subwoofer back on two separate occasions as it had blown even though I was using it on the lowest setting. Finally the entire system stopped working and eventually led to multiple critical fuses being burnt as they had pulled power from the cars main fusebox instead of a less important power source. This all costed me lots of money to repair for a system that only worked about 30% of the time I owned it. On top of all of this the owner does not call you back as he says he will and on multiple occasions they completely left me hanging for weeks. Hire a competent technician and respond to your customers. read more

I was referred here by a neighbor of a friend. That doesn't matter except that a random stranger pointed me here as an alternative to my planned self diagnosis of an issue in my old truck. I called SGTM on a Friday and explained my issue. They said they were available right then. I wasn't prepared for that positive response so I said I could be there tomorrow. "Sure. No appointment necessary." I brought my own equipment in. (New speakers and head unit.). They had it up and running in about 1/2 an hour. I've now been back twice for other issues on my other vehicle. (Once to install my SiriusXM antenna and once for an interface issue.) Each time, they were fast and friendly. Anyone reading my reviews will find a trend. I don't like arrogance, I don't like incompetence, and I don't like nonsense. You won't find any of that here. Don't bring it with you. read more

My car was a dumpster fire when I brought it in. It had been stolen once before I got it and once more when it was mine, both times the stereo was ripped out. When I bought the car, I had the dealership put in a new, in-box unit that I purchased for the car, where they crossed, cut, and messed up all the wires. I had multiple friends who did their own stereos look at it and they couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on. I brought in my car to see if these guys could put a new stereo in it, given everything that had happened and the mess it was now. I brought it in in the morning, and after an hour or so I got a call that it was possible but would take longer than anticipated. By the end of the day I had a brand new stereo and my center dash looks like nothing ever bad ever happened. Great place, I will be back when I need more audio work. read more

Took my speaker and car in to get my speaker repaired. It took them a full week to tell me that they were not sending my speaker to get repaired because it was a first gen. (Why didn't look it up when I brought it in) Then they scheduled me for what the guy said was next Wednesday. I show up, they take the keys I feel out paperwork, go to leave my car only to get called once outside the store to come back in and I wasn't on the schedule till next week. So now I have wasted my time on multiple occasions and the owners response is well we are human and we all make mistakes. Which is true but multiple failures in the process are unacceptable. Wow! I borrowed a speaker from someone and it broke. I was panicked! I called Sounds Good to Me and without hesitation they were like, "bring it in, we'll see what we can do." Instant relief. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ......Took my car in for stereo install with backing camera. Total after all parts, and labor just over $1K which was not bad compared to others, really only some of the parts were a bit high. Told him my concern was the kit to hold the radio in, and found it to be a special order as Dave said, so that made me cross my fingers even more. Dropped off car and was installed, and picked up at closing. Mark went through some of the features with me. As I was leaving and driving down the road, noticed the clip that holds the the radio in start to come out and looks like the clips were broke off and glued in to hold in place. I called Mark right then and told him looked like was glued together, which he didn't believe, so I turned around to show him... He was a bit shocked, tried to use some other glue to hold it until could reorder kit. I told him i want the whole kit, not just this clip part. I was going out of town so had to wait a week. As I was leaving I noticed the display wall where my stereo was at now had a whole. I thought hmm, did they give me the floor model? I called when got back and in a few days received a call saying ready only take ten minutes. I go Mark, it should take longer than that to reinstall all, but said no. I came in and Dave was standing next to the display where the whole was still at from where my stereo was displayed. I asked Dave, did you sell and install the floor model? He goes no, you prepaid so I pulled all you items we had and set aside. I go well it is weird that you have not put up a new unit to replace the one I bought, esp since you still have the price tag there. He goes I don't know what you and Mark talked about the kit... Then Dave said he wouldn't do that about selling a floor model as new, and asked me if I was are you calling him a liar? I said no, but very strange after you tried gluing my kit together saying you didn't only to see you did, and now this? So ten minutes go buy, and he comes back and says it is done. I go out there and I go let's check this out. Dave goes yeah check it out and walks off. I check where glued and looked ok, so drive off. Half way down the street notice that the clip is not flush with the rest of the kit, and kind of loose where the original issue was. I call back and say it is coming undone I can come back after work. I couldn't wait, so I go back after about twenty minutes. Dave goes I thought you were coming in at four, I go yeah, but dont want to sit at work thinking about this when I can drop off and you fix before then. He thought I was saying since he took the clip out of the new kit the color may be off, I go no it is popping out on one corner, if rub finger all around will feel. We go out and trying to explain all over again my frustration began to build and my voice raised. Dave goes "I am no Bitc#" don't have to scream. I go Dave I am not screaming, I am frustrated and my voice is raised but I am not yelling. I go I would like to leave this here and you can replace whole thing. He goes I thought you were coming in at four? I go again Dave, if i did you would tell me cannot be fixed, or if can I would have to come back, so why would I. I also go Dave why did you not inspect before I left, you have a customer who spent a lot, having to come back and you just walked off? I go wow Dave if someone spent as much with me on a product and had issues, I would have checked that myself and not just took the word of the employee or customers... He didn't like that and after going back and forth I just told him to get out of my car. So now I am stuck with a weak kit/clip and pray nothing goes wrong electrically for me needing me to take it back.... I feel they did sell me the floor model, and cut as many corners as they could. read more

I worked with mark to fix some distortion I was getting from factory deck. Upgraded to a Sony deck and fixed the problem. The guy in the back swapped it in about 20 minutes. All around everyone was friendly and helpful. They also make sure you know what your getting and let you know about any additional upgrades they recommend to make sure your system will work the best for you. read more

Friendly staff. I Came in and got quoted to install iPod support/new deck on my bmw, made an appointment because they didn't have one of the parts. A week later, I came in at the scheduled time and they forgot to order the part. I Came in a week later, and after inspecting my car, they decided they could not do it. A little annoying after having my car there 3 times prior and them not checking it out. I put a 40 dollar deposit down for reasons beyond me. (Don't put a deposit down on anything. I see no logic in it after going through the motions) Make sure to get a receipt if you do and keep it- you apparently need a large, yellow receipt if you're dealing with the owner. I physically came to the store and the owner would not credit my credit-card charged deposit. I Called in with my deposit information and still waiting to be credited a day later. *the 40 dollars was reimbursed 48 hours later. I took my z4 to the dealer and they installed an iPod player with a nice mount where the unused ashtray was. Cost $250 and took 1 hour. I would recommend this place if you make sure the person in the back can look over your car and confirm they can handle the job. Don't put a deposit down. Get a quote locked in and written upon first visit. All that being said, the staff is friendly. read more

I have been to three different car stereo/alarm shops looking at alarms and other "goodies" for the vehicle. Of the three, this place has one thing that is very unique - Experience with Fords and the Sync/MFT (My Ford Touch) System. Speaking with James, the installer, is definitely NOT a waste of time. The owner of this business, Dave, went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied! One of the few car audio places in town that had the expertise to upgrade audio in my Porsche Boxster, they did a fantastic installation job. The equipment was high quality, the work was professional grade, and the service was affordable. What struck me was that three years later when I had a problem develop with my system the owner allowed me to bring my car in and they checked my system out for me. They went as far as to test everything and even fixed a loose connection. No sleazy sales jobs or false diagnosis, just honest and affordable service.
