I went in to get fitted for custom concert ear plugs. They have been amazing; Right when I got them, I took them to Coachella. I never had to take out my ear plugs and I could actually hear my friends talk. I've been wearing concert ear plugs like eargasm or other ones you can find on Amazon, but they pale in comparison in terms of quality. Non-custom ones still lose too much sound on both ends and it's pretty difficult to have normal conversations on those. Dr. Thakkar was fantastic; cleaned my ears for me pre-fitting which was gnarly but he calmly assured me through the process. Would 100% recommend. read more

Got some sweet sweet custom musician's earplugs here, mostly for going to concerts and shows. The process was quick and Dr. Thakkar is chill and professional. He checked my ears before getting silicone impressions (feels weird but oddly satisfying). We decided on the filter level and I took a hot minute deciding on the details of the earplugs (pink and blue with GLITTER BECAUSE WHY NOT when you have the option). After they came back, it felt like the left one was a little tight, but Dr. Thakkar was able to size them to be more comfortable. I generally avoid going to the ENT or an ear doctor in general, because my past experiences have been met with extreme discomfort and loud vacuums entering my ear. I went in expecting as much, but it was by far the least painful, least stressful, and quickest visit I've ever had at an ear doctor. No vacuums, no painful scraping.
