She knows what she has and values helping customers find what they need & it shows! I came in to shop for my mom who's the crafty one out of the two of us, so I was a little lost. She helped me find what I was looking for effortlessly. She's incredible and if you need anything craft related- this is the place to go ! Affordable, great quality items and excellent customer service as always ! My mom has been shopping at Life's Memories & more since I was a child! I owe the owner, Tanya, an apology for not taking any pictures. I asked if it would be ok to post and then we got so busy shopping and talking, that I forgot to snap too! GPS originally took us right to the address, but there is not currently a sign out front (working on that), so I kept driving. Thank goodness the building is large and bright blue. When I called to make sure we were heading to the right place, the woman that answered the phone confirmed. Thankfully, we called, because it's an appointment only store. We turned around and parked on the street, in front of the building. Upon walking in we were shown a limited edition 49 and Market, Evergreen Season Bundle. There are some amazing products for scrapping and crafting that are only available at AIR (Alliance of Independent Retailers) locations. Of course I bought one. We were given a little background on the building's interesting history and got a few tips from Tanya. The building is old but you wouldn't realize it from all of the work that the family has put into it. Unfortunately, we kept Tanya from her coffee, but hopefully she had as good a time as my mom and me. My mom found a punch she has been searching for. I found some quilling materials and we both snagged some stuff for crafting. There is a great paper selection, along with stickers and embellishments. I found some cute wood decorations that I just can't wait to start decoupaging and painting. The pricing was great. There were even items offered at discounted prices. Given the choice I would much rather give my business to an independent business like Life's Memories. Having such an amazing selection and friendly owner just adds to the enjoyment!

It would be hard to find a better yarn store if you are any kind of knitting or crocheting crafter…read more I have been both since my nanny taught me to knit when I was about 5 years old. Since then, I have made hundreds of items, mostly knitting, but crocheting and weaving too. I have also woven my own textiles with a loom. So, when I stumbled into this store the first time I was in the five-college neighborhood, I felt as if I had gone to THE yarn supplier of the ages. And I still feel that way. I only work with wool fiber, which means each project is a bit costly and the finished item needs continual vigilance and care to keep it clean and moth-free. But, it is worth it as nothing takes dye and holds it for years, like wool. I actually have an afghan that my grandfather bought from a patient who made it over 100 years ago and it has not faded. (It is a bit dry, though, lol). So, when I decided to make a knitted blanket last Spring from one of my favorite yarns by Noro, I knew the only place I could order dozens of skeins of Kureyon in different colors was Webs. The reason is, most yarn stores, if they still exist -- they do tend to go out of business, sadly, regularly -- will only sell Noro yarns in bulk to you and they have to order them, which takes a lot of time. Webs has them in stock, all the time. I underestimated the number of skeins I needed for this blanket and was able to order extras several times from Webs, with no problem. They have wonderful discounts for buying multiples, carry every kind of yarn you can imagine, and get them to you quickly, well wrapped. What more would we want? I am also thankful that they are still here, thriving, through it all after so many years. Thank you, Webs!

Mostly mass produced garbage but prices have gone up. Selection of tools is a joke. Winders and swifts are always broken or barely functioning but won't be labeled as such so use at your own risk. Yarn is disorganized and low stock. Employees are no where to be found most of the time. Really sad to see a place that used to be an amazing local resource for fiber artists turn into a glorified hobby lobby.
