TERRIBLE venue for a large crowd. The seats are placed so close together that you're literally packed in like sardines. I watched two people who couldn't have weighed more than 115 lbs each struggling to sit comfortably. Security does absolutely nothing to keep the crazy people in the back from charging to the front and occupying the space that people paid HUNDREDS of dollars for. Furthermore, unless you have a seat in the middle section and within the first 3 rows, you WILL have to stand on the chairs to be able to see anything since the venue is flat. Overall, I'm glad i purchased front row tickets but was then pushed by the crazies who came from the back of the venue and forced their way up front. I wouldn't come here again if I had a choice. read more

Soundstage at Graceland - Elvis impersonater - Music Venues Near Me - Memphs, Tennessee

I visited the Soundstage for the first time to attend Riley Keough's book tour event to celebrate the release of Lisa Marie Presley's memoir. I'm not an Elvis fan so I'd never been to Graceland or the Soundstage before. I took an Uber to the event and the driver dropped me off at the door. The area is secured with a parking attendant but rideshare drivers are allowed thru to drop off passengers. The doors opened 1.5 hours before the event and I got there around 6pm. My ticket was scanned fairly quickly and I was able to find my seat with the help of an usher. I lucked out and had a seat in the front row which was awesome. The Soundstage is akin to a large warehouse except it has carpet and a good sound system. Other than that there's nothing special about the venue. The event was sold-out so the place was filled to capacity. The seats are removable folding chairs which were fairly comfortable. You are on top of each other though. The seats are very close together so it could be tight depending on the HWP of the folks around you. I was pretty comfortable so I have no complaints. There are chips, cookies, hot dogs, candy and various beverages. I was starving so I purchased a bag of chips, snickers and water which cost about $12. I was told by the staff that there would be cabs or rideshare drivers sitting out front after the event, but that wasn't true. I ended up walking across the street to the Guesthouse at Graceland to wait for an Uber there. They have a shuttle that will drop anyone off at the Guesthouse (you don't have to be a guest) but it was faster to walk. After I got to the Guesthouse my Uber arrived within 5 minutes. The stage is slightly elevated from the floor but all the seats are at eye level. I would have expected a brand like Graceland to invest in a state of the art theatre so the mediocrity of the space was surprising but the event turned out fine. I could see and hear the presenters so that's all that matters. The seating also isn't sloped which was surprising. Every employee I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The venue inside is nice and just got home from an excellent Alice Cooper concert. He was terrific. I can, however, only give the Soundstage two stars. One, there was some very rude staff there. The bartender was a jerk to a woman who was trying to buy a drink and got smart with her. Even worse the lady was disabled. Second, the merchandise area could be better. Someone like Cooper sells a lot of merchandise being a still very relevant prominent artist. There should have been at least two areas to buy merchandise. Even worse leaving the show they would only let you go out the doors close to merchandise so half the people (and it was a packed house) were trying to leave and half were in line trying to buy a t-shirt. Some friends of mine and I were blocked in from being able to leave so we walked back into the arena area to go around the other way. Two workers were standing there chatting. We walked in and even said hello. One said hello so we thought it was okay. However the other guy started freaking out and yelling we couldnt go thst way. Fine, we didnt know but there was no reason to make an ass out of himself. We simply turned around and waited way too long to get out of the venue All in all, the building is nice and the acoustics were good and as I stated the concert itself was terrific except for one thing. Security did nothing to stop fans from the back rushing to the front and never leaving. It is not fair to those paying big money to be up front. Security do your job!​ read more

Paid for close aisle tickets for Alice Cooper, but staff allowed the people who paid less to stand in the aisles. We could see nothing. I don't mind if people stand in the rows. Either keep the aisles clear or make it standing room only. read more

One of the worst concert venues I've ever seen. We went to an Elvis birthday show a couple years ago for our first and probably only visit to the venue. Let me just say that the venue itself is a total disgrace to be representing one of the monumental figures in American music. A serious opportunity was squandered here to make would should have become a legendary concert venue drawing folks from around the world to Elvis's home to experience what his whole career was built on: live entertainment. It just reeks of cheapness. It feels more like a school cafeteria than a concert venue. Just a rectangular room with no character, cold and uninviting. The chairs are uncomfortable and straight out of Crappersville and the stage sits above eye level so you can only really see musicians well near the front of the stage. Food and drink are available in tiny closet near the back corner, not very efficient to have to cram into a little room to then place your order. The whole venue feels like a repurposed afterthought. The people who work there were all great, it's not their fault the venue was a major miss. DO BETTER BY ELVIS's LEGACY GRACELAND. Shame! read more

This review is exclusively for the venue, not reflective of any acts that have or will play here. Sure, the sound, lights, and video walls are state of the art, but those are about all this place has going for it. Inside the venue itself there is absolutely no vibe - just feels like a conference center with a stage... I've seen better vibes in hotel conference rooms. And don't even get me started on the nasty, stained carpet. The lobby area looks like it was furnished with leftovers from elsewhere in Graceland. The wall all of memorabilia is cool, but there are tables right in front of it so if you want to look at it you have to awkwardly look over strangers' heads. And the website advertised food... which is just chips & candy - I came hungry and ended up starving before the open act ended. Definitely expected better from Graceland and think the King would have too. read more

My husband and I attended the Nephew Tommy show on Saturday, 2/8/25 at Graceland Soundstage. We purchased tickets specifically to be at the end of the row. When we arrived (early to the show) to find our seats with the assistance of the user which were at E-121 and E-122, our seats were not physically there. There were (2) people sitting at the end of the row and their seats indicated E-119 and E-120. After the usher taking our tickets and stating that he would be right back, we were left standing in the aisle for quite a while. My husband finally went to look for him. By this time (even though we arrive early) the show was starting and we had no seats after spending $227.00 for tickets. Finally the usher ( Travis) went to go to get assistance from a manager (Carla). We were offered seats on the opposite side of the stage and had a choice of row B, C or E. When Travis took us to that particular section, there were already other people at the end rows of B and C so we were then offered end seats on Row E. I expressed to him that I had no desire to have to move around to various seats all night so I wanted to be sure that the ends seats in Row E were seats that no one else were assigned. He assured me that this would not happen. After approximatley, 15 minutes after being seated, a couple walked up stating that we were in their seats. Here we go!!! So it's time to move again which was something that I explained earlier to the staff that I didn't want to occur. I went to speak with another usher and while speaking I sawTravis and explained to him, the very thing that I didn't want to have to do (jumping from seat to seat) is now happening and I explained that I was not happy nor satisfied with all of this. This new usher offered me two seats even further away from the stage and further away than the (2) previous rows taht we were given. I refused to go and look at these (2) seats. We paid $227.00 to have seats that we had ordered and not any other seats that they were trying to give to us. I explained to this usher if she was really trying to give good customer service that they would have placed (2) seats which were not physically there; just add them to the end of the row since clearly the seats were missing. Finally, (2) seats were added to the row/section that we actually paid for. What a dissapointment because by now, we have missed a good portion of the show with playing musical chairs and walking around. I feel as though we were absolutely cheated in that we were missing the show while others were (rightfully so) enjoying the show. We attended the "Beatles Show" a few months ago with no issues at that time and was looking forward to our return to the Graceland Soundstage but as stated above, it was a dissappointing due to the way that the staff handled the entire situation which caused us to miss a portion of the show. read more

Went and saw shows two different times, both times sitting in tiny chairs where you're practically sitting on top of your neighbor. Prepare to be uncomfortable the entire show, sitting in seminar chairs. Since the floor is not sloped, you'll be staring at the back peoples heads. They also hype their lounge and snacks "come early and have a drink/snacks in the lounge". They have a limited bar with cocktails from a can. Snacks consist of bagged chips and prepackaged Grandma's cookies like you get a gas station. They're leaning too much on the Elvis name and the space does not measure up. read more
