An afternoon lunch with The Wife. I have been wanting to try this place heard great things, but I think the great things are from long time locals and that's why it's been around for so long. First this place is not a CUBAN Sandwich shop it's a plain sandwich shop. You would think with Cuban in the name they would put more quality into it. We both got 2 Cuban special's came with drinks and we also ordered a cup of soup for $28.62, the soup was very small for $4.79 would not pay Panera prices for this quality of soup again. Let's start with the bad and end on the good. Service: we walked in a stood there for a min while the guy at the counter just sat there. I said Hi how are you, he said good thanks for asking what can I get you in a semi bothered tone. Honestly we did not feel welcome rather gave us the feeling of order and move on so I can sit here and do nothing, as that is all he did while we were there. I did see a few people come in for pick ups and there phone was ringing with orders a couple times, but from the feel & look of cleanliness to this place I see why most would get there food to go. The sauce bottles were all old and disgusting laid out across a counter like they were on display, the just made me want to stay away!!! The Potato bacon soup: tasted like old soup, the potatoes were mush, cream was watery and the color was dark, sure signs your soup is old. We took 1 bite each just to try it and pushed it to the side. The Cubans: the meat was thick cut cheap deli meat, not fresh cooked ham or even good deli meat as it was watery. I know there's allot of variations for this sandwich, but this was my least favorite ever!!! It was a ham sandwich pressed with lettuce, tomatoes, a few small sliced pickles, mayo/mustard and onions, The onions were the freshest best part of the inside components. Now for the good the bread was awesome, both me and the wife loved the bread. Other than the bread there is nothing special about the sandwiches or the soups, but I am sure this is a great place for close locals who just want to grab a sandwich on some good bread and support a small business. They have been open for 21yrs, but if their quality in cleanliness, customer service or food ingredient choices doesn't change, I hope the locals can keep this place going because they will not attract new customers with how they are currently running this place. Ultimately we will not return, but if to grab some bread and go home to make our own sandwiches with it. Try it for yourself and make up your own mind, just don't expect greatness!!!i

Stopped in with my friend. The man working did not greet us when we walked in. His personality is dry and matter of fact. The place is very old and appears to have been around a long time. The signs say 23 years, so they must be doing something right. The food is mediocre at best. I enjoyed the crab roll. The Philly cheese steak didn't come with enough meat. I ended up putting it all on one side to save myself the calories of eating empty bread. I believe it's overpriced for the portion sizes.

Basic generic [Mexican] tamale. Was totally disappointed as I was expecting a Cuban-style tamale.

Felt very misled as there was nothing Cuban about this place. The food was OK, but nothing out of this world. Was expecting the typical stuff you would find in a real Cuban restaurant like: Cuban decor, Latin music, coffee [and actual Cubans of course], but it is just a genereic local sandwich shop.

Hit this place up while visiting Florida and it's a hidden gem! Loved the variety on their menu! Not only do they specialize in soups and Cuban sandwiches - you can also order a sub any way you'd like! They've got tamales and potato balls (relleno de papa) just to name a few of their additional offerings. The prices are also very reasonable. I had a classic Cuban sandwich and it was delicious!! All they are missing is Cuban coffee on the menu!

Great food, great flavor, and wonderful staff. So happy they are nearby. There are quite a few sandwiches in my future!

I ordered a Philly steak for my husband. We dine in fully state come out, looking like the bottom of the bread was still raw or ask the man about it he informed us that's how it's supposed to work. It was very nasty the man there never even tried to make it right, so I paid for my food and will never go back again. if I had took the sandwich home and ate it at home that I might understand it looking so nasty but I eat in the restaurant.

Tried for the first time today through UberEats and just wasn't that good. The philly isn't really a phill its just a tiny amount of meat and cold cheese slapped on top. Not impressed. Probably not going to try again.

I got the butterfly gin drink again and as always, it is 10 out of 10. It isn't too sweet and it packs a punch. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. For our Mains, I got the pear salad, which was great. I didn't add any protein because my younger son got the grilled chicken kids meal with french fries. He only eats half the chicken so I got the other half. My older son got buttered noodles and a side of fries. It was very good as well, he liked the buttered noodles, but stopped halfway through, so I wouldn't be surprised if he chooses another dish next time. He does love the fries. My husband got the chimichurri steak which he should get every single time because it is delicious and my younger son eats a ton of it as well. This time he got the vegetable of the day and mashed potatoes as his sides and enjoyed both. Parking is a breeze because there is a lot of nearby street parking. It is only about 15 minutes away from LEGOLAND, so I highly recommend if you're in the area skip all the chain restaurants and come here instead.

She had the Breakfast Burger with fries and I went with the skirt steak and eggs. Both were excellent. The steak was cooked right and the whole plate came together well. Service was a little slow, which kept this from being a perfect visit. We also happened to be seated near one extremely loud patron, which made the room harder to enjoy, though that is obviously not the cafe's fault. Even with the slow service, the quality of the food is what matters and Lucille's delivered. We would come back.

Despite the closing time issue the woman who was working took care of our party of 5 masterfully all things considered. You'll need to eat outside as seating inside is minimal if there's any at all. I still enjoyed the alleyway-like seating on a balmy central Florida evening. Since there was only one person working and it was so close to closing time I helped bring out the food as it was ready. Everything was very tasty and fresh. I tried the chicken salad on the croissant and the ginger turmeric chicken soup with noodles. I really enjoyed it. My husband had the tuna sandwich and a bowl of the tomato basil. I didn't try the tuna sandwich but he inhaled it. I did taste the tomato basil soup and it was amazing! My mom had a salad which was presented lovely and she cleared her plate. Both my parents had the cream of mushroom soup. My mom remarked that she thought it would be more creamy than what it was. My toddler had the margarita flatbread sans tomato and balsamic glaze and he took a few bites and said it "good." Much to my surprise. For the time we had and the circumstances, it was a lovely visit, as I really wanted to support a minority-owned establishment in the area.

This was my first time visiting Carrabba's... despite some of the reviews, I enjoyed my time here…read more The service was great, quick and efficient. My server Kaleb was really great and informative, although a really busy day for a Wednesday he was on point. On to the food -- I ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer to start which were crispy, well seasoned & definitely HOT (cheese PULLLL) lol Next the classic trio because I wanted to try their chicken parm and their Alfredo. Both were really good, I would say the Alfredo lacked a little bit of sauce but that's just personal preference. My meal came with a side, I chose the chicken soup.. it was GOOD but very heavy seasoning which made it somewhat spicy, so I did not finish it. ( Kaleb did try to offer me something else which I appreciated however I passed on the offer.) I tried the Caesar salad and that was good and fresh. Almost forgot to mention the warm bread for the table was sooooo good! Lol ( I know you're thinking it's just bread?) but it was freshly baked, and the olive oil with seasoning was a perfect touch. Not pictured* since it was my first time they gave me a complimentary free dessert. I chose the strawberry cheesecake, which was fluffy, creamy and tasted really good. Not too sweet. I would definitely return back.

I placed an online lunch order for three people with the expectation that we would be able to share the dishes. I ordered three entrées and an order of spring rolls. I was surprised that they didn't offer a lunch menu, and I found the prices to be quite high, but I decided to give them a chance, hoping the quality and portion sizes would justify the cost. Shortly after placing the order, I received a call from the restaurant regarding an issue they had been experiencing with their website. Since I had the employee on the phone, I asked if they could please include three plates, as we planned to share the food. I was told they didn't carry plates. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted with, "How can I help you?" I explained that I was there for a pickup order. The employee handed me the bag and immediately started to walk away. I stopped her to ask again if there was any way to get plates. She appeared annoyed and told me they didn't have any, but she could give me some forks. Apparently, they don't automatically include utensils with to-go orders unless you specifically ask for them. Unfortunately, the service issues were only the beginning. To our disappointment, the food was awful. Every dish was bland, lacked flavor, and the beef in the Pad Thai didn't even look like beef (see picture). In the end, we spent nearly $60 on three entrées and an order of spring rolls. The photo on the website shows six spring rolls, but our order contained only three. The portions were small, the food was underwhelming, and we were left both hungry and disappointed. I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, but between the poor service, misleading photos, high prices, and disappointing food, this is not a place I can recommend or see myself visiting again.
